Description of Work: I needed drywall repairs in 3 places due to a new heating system having been installed. The job done was impressive to both my husband and I. It is virtually impossible to tell where the repairs were done in 3 places in ceilings. Everything went without a hitch and I would use the company again. When I called to schedule and told the receptioinist what I needed done. she stated she had someone who did drywall repairs and she would send him. My call was a to a handyman service so it was nice that someone with expertise in what I needed was sent to do the job!

Description of Work: Mike was the Fix'm Handyman who came to my rescue. I had an extensive list of minor repairs built up over a couple of years. Each on their own did not seem to be enough to warrant hiring someone but as they piled up it became clear that I really did need someone to help as neither my husband nor myself are handy in any way. I purchased 4 hours of service when Angie's List had a "Big Deal" special -so the price was right! I did end up having to purchase an extra hour of Mike's time but I am delighted with all he was able to accomplish. He was prompt, courteous, friendly, efficient and very helpful. The list of chores included: 1. Removing existing grout/caulk in the master bath shower and re-grouting/re-caulking 2. Replacing a non-functioning fluorescent cloud light in a hallway 3.Totally cleaning out a dryer vent of bird's nesting material etc. and replacing a vent cover w/ which we had had continuing problems w/ one that through his vast experience Mike knows to be of a much better design. 4. Figuring out and fixing a garage door that would not close with the remote. It turned out to be a simple misalignment of the sensors at the base of the door but he alerted us to another potential problem that may be more serious and recommended a company with whom Fix'm has had success . 5.Attaching toe molding that had never been nailed down. 6. Patching a couple of holes in the stucco on our home's exterior. This required Mike to return the next day to cut the expanding material flush with the wall and back he came -as promised! Mike wasted no time as anytime he had to wait on something he was doing for one chore (like the grout/caulk to soften) he went on to something else. Also over the time he was here I asked questions about household products good for certain maintenance chores. He couldn't think of the name of a couple of products that he actually uses at home and he later dropped off a note with those product names. This to me is above and beyond! I plan to hire Fix'm and Mike again whenever any maintenance problems pop up! I couldn't be happier!

Description of Work: This was an Angies List "Big Deal" and I got a huge deal! Fix'm completed three troublesome tasks I have lived with for a long time. The carpenter, Tom, replaced a broken tread on my basement stairs, secured sagging duct work in the basement and mounted trim in my kitchen, hallway and basement. Tom was very professional and I will ask for him next time if possible! I will DEfinitely use Fixm again for jobs around my house!

Description of Work: Installed a dog door into a screen door. The work was well done and the final result looked good, with careful attention to matching the additional wood that had to be used to support the door. Excellent cleanup after the job. Would definitely use Fix'm Home Repairs for another job.
