They were on time, did what they said they would do, worked efficiently and cleaned up nicely after themselves. Would hire again.

The team was prompt and double checked on the plan for trimming. They coordinated with and were careful around a crew working on the patio at the same time. The owner and crew really know what they are doing for the beauty and health of trees. The big birch tree looks so much cleaner and nice as well as all the trees they have done in the past. They only charged $100 to take out the small tree as they were planning to be there for the other stuff.

Outstanding job! They came when they said they would, cut down a 2-foot thick tree, being very careful to drop branches and trunk sections where they would do no harm, removed all visible surface roots, ground out the stump, removed all debris, and repaired the holes in the lawn left by the stump and roots. Everything was done with utmost thoroughness and care, and they came back a few weeks after to check on the progress of the new grass and further treat any weak spots. Climbers were very skilled and careful with what they did, taking safety precautions both for themselves and for the property. Price was reasonable for the extensive and complete work they did. If there was a six-star rating I'd give them that!

The whole process went smoothly. After contacting Boley they were out to do an estimate within a week, followed up with me the same day, I verbally (email) agreed with the estimate and they were out and done within another week. The Oak couldn't be trimmed because it was too late in the spring, but the Poplar trimming was completed and their crew did an excellent job along with clean-up. We'll definitely check with them first for our tree-needs in the future.

They provided a quote in a timely manner and were very responsive to my phone calls. I marked the trees to be felled and they came to evaluate the site when I wasn't home. They were able to schedule a time to do the work that was convenient for me and arrived right on time. When they arrived, they asked if we needed to get our car out of the driveway before they started their work because they would be blocking the driveway. When we weren't ready to move our car out, they were very accommodating and did other work that would allow us to get out of the driveway at a later time. They worked very hard throughout the time they were on site. They were kind enough to cut the very big pieces of the oak trunk (30"+ diameter) into log lengths so that I wouldn't have to spend so much time myself cutting those huge pieces into shorter lengths. The carted all the logs to one small area of my lawn to make my subsequent clean up easier. Their price was competitive with other quotes I received. It was one of the lower quotes which was one of the main reasons I went with them. I would definitely use them again for future use.

I contacted Boley to have some large trees trimmed. I doubt they had been trimmed at all in the past ten years. Due to the close proximity to our house,I wanted them to be safe and healthy. I wasn't on a strict timeline, so Boley fit me in where he could. I was not home while the work was done but everything was cleaned up by the time I got home. Given the crazy weather we had early summer this year (2014), I'm really glad I had the work done. With the trees thinned out, I feel much safer.

They did an excellent job. When we called to say we wanted it done, I had a lot of questions and Rod was very patient and helpful, explaining all our options for planting a new tree, etc. We had to wait about 6 weeks before they cut down the tree from the time we told them we wanted it done, and then about 4 to 6 more weeks until the new one was planted, but I cannot say a bad thing about this company. Very professional.

I've had mediocre luck with tree and landscape care in the past, and often the provider does not even return my calls. I'm happy to report that Boley is the very opposite of such indifferent service. They return calls promptly, come on time, and are very professional and courteous. They examined my property and sent me an immediate estimate. They called later and set up a date for the job, and they came when they said they would. They were also thorough and careful with their clean up. I recommend them highly!

They were punctual (a little early actually) and did a really great job. I had no idea what a difference a trimming could do. Our old trees look great now! In order to save some cash I asked them if I could handle dealing with the tree trimmings myself. I'm relatively handy, and enjoy working outside. I figured I'd be able to burn most of it in my fire pit, or give it to my brother-in-law (who does some work-working). Boy was I wrong! I had no idea how much tree waste there would be. What would take them 20 minutes to do with a chipper, took my wife and I over a week to break-down. If I had to do it over again I would definitely throw in the extra money to have them do it.

They did an excellent job at pruning and with cleanup.

Service was prompt, professional, and effective. They let me know what they needed so I could obtain neighbor's permission, and let me know in advance when they were coming. I will use them again.

Quote was submitted by mail, and got lost in our pile of "stuff to deal with." They were very nice about it when I finally got around to contacting them though. Service has yet to be provided.

Boley's was an excellent company to work with for the entire project. They provided a written and very specific contract outlining exactly what they were proposing, as well as a target start date. Due to the heavy rains this spring, the start date was postponed. They let us know this and gave us a new date. They arrived when promised. What was most impressive is that they were very careful with the machinery brought onto the lawn to remove the very large honeylocust: They put wood slats underneath so as to not destroy any more lawn they absolutely necessary. The tree was very close to the house and they did a great job of ensuring the tree limbs did not fall onto the house! They removed all wood within a day of getting the tree cut. The sod that was laid down grew reasonably well. The drainage work involved removing deck boards, which they did with care. They regraded what was needed, putting any extra stones around the house.

Work was as scheduled. Mr. Boley walked through the planned work with the crew before they started, insuring all parties had a clear understanding of what was to be done. The four man crew was professional, they knew their jobs so well they rarely had to communicate. They were very safety conscious and well equipped with safety gear and proper tools. All work done is satisfactory. The actual cost slightly exceeded the estimate. I do not object as their work more than exceeded my expectation.

What really impressed me is that they required a bulldozer type machine that left 2 tracks down my front/side/back yard to get to the pit and they spent an entire day seeding and placing straw on the pit and the tracks. They have returned several times on their own since to check on the areas (I never called them) and reseeded some areas and gave me some advice on how to help the areas grow better. Very impressed with the effort they have put in since the job has been completed (and paid for).
