Description of Work: Very good experience! |I was given choice of AM or PM repair,and was able to phone in to be given a 2-hour window. The repairmen even phoned about 20 min. before arrival to let me know they were on their way. |First visit revealed the washing machine had a broken spring and would likely need new shocks too. Parts were ordered, and about a week later (after parts had arrived) a repairman returned. He found shocks were not needed so replaced only the springs (both spring were needed to keep the drum balanced.) |Work in both cases was done quickly, I was only charged for one trip, and only for the parts (2 springs) that were actually needed. |

Description of Work: They replaced a dispenser and cleaned a wire harness, only to have the entire motor die 2 months later. The same code was on the washer both times.

Description of Work: Checked refrigerator because it was not cooling and there was ice build-up in the freezer compartment. I called and left a non-emergency message Saturday and called again Monday mid-morning when I hadn't heard back. They scheduled me for Wednesday; repairman arrived within the specified window, promptly diagnosed and fixed the problem.

Description of Work: This is our first experience with Angies List and we are thrilled with the outcome! Appliance Service Unlimited of Middleton, Inc. is a great company to work with! They did everything possible to work with our schedule, returned calls promptly and are a professional group of people. Our repair person, Garrett did an excellent job repairing both our washer and refrigerator. He was thorough and knowledgeable. He performed the repairs in a series of logical steps which ended up saving us several hundred dollars because, he only replaced the parts needed.

Description of Work: Tech diagnosed dishwasher malfunction. Had to take the machine almost completely apart. Got a clear diagnosis and laid out repair/replacement options for me.

Description of Work: The provider came out and diagnosed my dishwasher with a recall issue that they were not allowed by the manufacturer to service. I was told it was a common issue for that brand and the technician clearly was expecting that diagnosis when he walked in the door. However, rather than let me know of the possibility of the recall ahead of time, they did so only after the 2 minute diagnosis and handing me an invoice for a trip charge.

Description of Work: Our dryer stopped working in the middle of laundry day. Appliance service sent a repair person within hours of my call. He immediately found the problem and did the repair perfectly. Two days later, our oven stopped working. Again, the serviceman came immediately and performed the needed repair. From my initial call through both service calls, our repair needs were handled promptly and professionally.

Description of Work: He came out once to evaluate the problem and then had to order an idiler. The part came back and he installed it.

Description of Work: The technician diagnosed the problem with my sub zero refrigerator in mid November. They ordered the parts and I scheduled the work for Dec. 13. He came and did the job in a couple of hours. He also looked at my cook top and figured out why one side doesn't always light with the ignitor system. The company will fix this when the new ignitor comes in. While fixing the fridge, Rick pointed out that the cover over the light had gotten partially melted and no longer fit well. He suggested that he try to soften the plastic with his heat gun and reform it. This, along with adjusting the tabs which hold the cover in place fixed the problem, and I didn't need to buy a new (expensive) part from Sub Zero. I found the service courteous, professional, and reasonably priced

Description of Work: Fixed the leak in my portable dishwasher and fixed the door so that it no longer hung loose.
