A home inspector noted slight titling of all four basement walls in our home, which we had listed for sale. We were working with a very tight timeline, and were so grateful that Lavern Nall was able to evaluate our basement on the same day we called for an appointment. Lavern is experienced, extremely knowledgeable and communicated in detail the process he would use to inspect our walls. After completing the inspection, Lavern prepared a thorough report and delivered it to us the very next day. His professionalism and responsiveness were much appreciated.

The engineer was able to come to the property on a Saturday morning after calling him on Friday afternoon. Inspected the property in question for over two and a half hours. Provided a comprehensive report.

One of their engineers came out to the house on a Saturday (which was nice) and spent about an hour going over what we were looking to do. He made the comment that this was a "play project" because he had worked on larger more corporate projects, and a residential should only take a few hours - and we'd have the plans within the week. Six weeks later, and multiple phone calls - I finally got the plans. The plans themselves were very very thorough - no complaints there at all. The two issues I had was being told that the plans would be ready sooner and how I was reminded by the engineer on two separate occasions that this project was "completely underbid and has taken him much longer than expected." Take away the semi-rude comments and overall the job was very well done. I would use this company again, but make sure that the lead time for your plans isn't asap.

Mr. Nall was very patient and informative. The company has done extensive commercial work, so he was able to offer design suggestions that were more creative then we'd even thought possible. Unfortunately, we were unable to engage the firm's services as they insisted on us giving them our financial information so that they could pull a credit report on us. They explained that they do this with every client and have found it necessary because they do not bill in advance of services being rendered. Since we were unwilling to give our financial information to them, they would not work with us.

LAVERN L. NALL WAS VERY DETAIL ORIENTED AND RECOMMENDED A CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FOR ME TO WORK WITH IN RENOVATING A 1921 HOUSE WHICH WILL EVENTUALLY BE SOLD. HE IS VERY SUPPORTIVE IN TELLING ME WHAT I CAN DEMOLISH MYSELF AND WHAT I SHOULD LEAVE ALONE FOR THE CARPENTERS, ETC.
