Tom was very prompt and professional. He was able to come the day after my call. He was clearly knowledgable. He explained the problem thoroughly and described charges in detail. His ability to quickly order and receive the part was helpful. Clearly an excellent resource and in our expereince knowledgable about all brands of appliances. Past expereinces with the repair services for a particular brand have not been as positive. would hire again. Washer works great now!

He is knowledgeable and he knows what he is doing. He is willing to explain so you understand what is going on. If he is not capable of doing something he makes referrals.

Responded very quickly and had the driver operational very quickly.. Had parts on hand and checked all possible problems generated by "knuckle-headed" use of dryer and repaired/adjusted as necessary. Very good job!!!

He was professional. He was late, but called ahead to let me know. He cleaned up everything. He explained everything. He told me the cost before he did anything.

Tom responded to my phone call right away, the appointment was set and he arrived on schedule. He sprayed the balancing belt with lubricant. He explained that if the belt needs to be replaced the cost will be almost as much as a new washer. Fortunately, so far the repair seems to be working.

Professional..it was the owner that came and gave the service check. It wasn't worth it to buy the part because the refrigerator was too old. He was a nice man and liked his service.

Fantastic. Tom did a great job. He called ahead to ensure he had the right models so he could research first (even with 20+ years of experience).

They were very thorough, knowledgeable; he gave me some input on how to take better care of my dryer and warranted the work for a year. (No charge to install if failed within that year.)

I thought he really knew what he was doing. He was competent and helpful. They were very courteous which I appreciate. The person that answered the phone was very nice as well as the repair man. They were even a few minutes late and they called to inform me of this which was also appreciated. They were very accommodating to my schedule as much as they could. They gave a window of 8 to 12 and did their best to fit me in as early as possible.

He told us we could just unplug the dishwasher and plug it back in to reset itself. He gave us the advice over the phone at no charge. It seems like an excellent company.

I was not sure if we should sink any money into our 17 year old Maytag washer. But Tom looked it over and felt it was worth the investment. He told me he probably would not recommend the repair on some other brands but ours should continue to run for a few more years at least. He showed up when promised and completed the work at the quoted price. He was professional, fast, and neat.

To fix my washer would cost as much as it would to buy a new one. He gave me a lot of information on where to buy a new one and what brands to look for.

Tom made two visits. The first was to diagnose the problem. He seemed very comfortable with me sitting and watching him work, and discussed his findings with me as he discovered them. I learned that most people use far too much detergent in their dishwasher and that most of my leakage problem was probably caused by excess soap foam (see photo, this was after 2 empty cycles with no soap added!). He determined that a seal was missing, ordered an updated seal kit with re-engineered parts, and then visited later that week to install the seal. Overall, it was a good experience. Tom was communicative, punctual, confident, an expert, and pleasant to talk with. Highly recommended!

Tom was very responsive. I called him in the morning, he informed me that he was working in the area and would try to squeeze us in that day. He called my wife indicating when he would be there, arrived on time and got everything done by the time I got home from work.

Tom answered his phone and we were able to schedule an appt. for a day that I would be home. He arrived on time, diagnosed the problem and quickly fixed it. He also secured the vent which had been problematic for months.

1) dishwasher required part replacement. 2) Microwave socket was fine, bulbs were apparently burning out because they were generic and not genuine GE bulbs. Rather expensive replacements at $10 each; time will tell. Tom was a little confused about the actual appointment time at first because he'd written it on the wrong day in his calendar. Since he is very good with follow-up and contacting the customer, it did not become a problem. The original time frame was stated as between 11 & 1, but he actually came out at about 2:30. That was also not a problem because I was a little late getting him the model number of my microwave so he could have parts on hand; he was waiting for the UPS truck to deliver the parts so he'd have what he needed. He couldn't give me an estimate, other than the trip charge, so I really didn't know how much it would cost. Overall, I'm happy with the experience.

The faucet on our stationary sink was all corroded, and we couldn't replace the hoses. Tom changed it out and turned our sink around (it was installed backwards). He also looked at our broken washer and gave an estimate to replace. He was satisfactory but a bit expensive. I later found out we could've had a plumber do the work for a lot less, and that is definitely the route we'll take next time.

Tom scheduled the appointment for the next day, was prompt and found the problem right away.

We had problems with residue and dirt on our dishes. Tom found several problems, one of which was that our racks were rusted. We were just outside of the 5 year warrenty on the racks, and Tom gave us some very helpful suggestions on how to get them replaced with coverage.(We ended up getting a discount from the manufacturer, not full replacement coverage). Tom fixed the remaining problems, ordered parts and was very helpful and professional throughout the process. We also had a dryer repair which again, Tom did at a reasonable cost and fully repaired the problem. He is prompt and professional.

We called Tom to look at a dishwasher that was not emptying completely. Tom said that there were many things wrong with the dishwasher and it was essentially worn out. When he returned a couple of days later to replace the dishwasher, we discovered that the floor under the dishwasher was moldy and rotten. By coincidence, a tenant had requested that we look at their dishwasher. Tom inspected it and found that this dishwasher was also worn out. So we scheduled another time to replace the two dishwashers the following week so the floor could be replaced. The next week, Tom returned and replaced both dishwashers in the speed of light.

Tom was very helpful, came out the same day we called him (even though his daughter who was getting married the next day) and was extremely professional. Tom easily fixed the dryer. The microwave proved to be more challenging. The unit is 20 years old and part of a combined microwave/range/oven. Tom determined that the circuit board had gone bad and would need to be replaced. He cautioned us that it would be difficult to find, expensive, and we would likely be better off replacing the entire unit. In response to my question, he also determined that we could convert to gas if we replaced the appliance. Tom got back to us very quickly. He had found the board, but it would cost $300. Not a good investment in a 20 year old appliance. We asked Tom for some recommendations and whether or not he could install the new appliance for us. He recommended that we have the store do the installation since his fee would be much higher than theirs. I highly recommend Tom and will use him again.

Easy to work with. Oven works great now.

Tom Mescher, the owner, was very responsive to my schedule and came out the same day. The problem was some burned out wiring. He did a very good job of replacing the wring and soldering all of the connections.

OVERALL THE EXPERIENCE WAS GOOD. I SPECULATED ABOUT WHETHER OR NOT THINGS WOULD HAVE BEEN DONE MORE EFFICIENTLY IF TOM HAD A GREATER FIRST HAND KNOWLEDGE OF THE MAKE AND MODEL OF MY KENMORE GAS RANGE. I NORMALLY CALL A REPAIR SHOP THAT SPECIALIZES IN THE BRAND OF ITEM I NEED FIXED. THE RANGE CAME WITH THE HOUSE, I DID NOT GET IT AS A SEPARATE PURCHASE. SINCE I HAVE HAD SEVERAL POOR EXPERIENCES WITH SEARS PRODUCTS AND SEARS REPAIR EFFORTS IN THE PAST, I DID NOT WANT TO CALL THEM FOR THIS REPAIR. THAT LEFT ME WITH A GENERALIST WHO APPLIED A REASONABLE PROBLEM SOLVING PROCESS TO THE PROBLEM.
