From the very beginning we felt that they really wanted to work with us, unlike others we contacted that acted like they were doing us a favor. Nicole was a pleasure to work with. Professional and really listened to us. Held our hand through all the decision making! They knew we had a budget that we needed to stick to and they worked to make that happen. All workmen were great and the final project exceeded our expectations. When family and friends have seen the bathroom the common response is OMG this is amazing!!!

The quality of work that they do is phenomenal. They're extremely professional. They made sure that the floors were kept clean. They put paper down. Basically, they left things where the conditions are better than what they had walked into.

I had used DesignTech in a previous bathroom remodel at my prior residence and therefore expected and again received excellence in every aspect of the work. The firm is family owned and I found everyone involved to have a vested interest in my satisfaction and a high degree of personal accountability. The principals of the firm were directly involved in the entire process and were particularly helpful in the design process and in assisting in choosing fixtures, tile, cabinets, etc. I always felt a commitment that everything would be done to my complete satisfaction and, indeed, this was the case. Communication was excellent, and I was always apprised of what would be happening next and when. All questions were answered immediately. All workers were extremely courteous and respectful of my property. While full time employees did most of the work, the few subcontractors used were very competent and easy to work with. All work was performed on time using quality materials and to my complete satisfaction. I consider the cost to have been very competitive. I have already recommended the firm to others and would clearly use them again.

Donna was the sales lady who came to my home on October 16. She took pictures of my bathroom, but wasn't very forthcoming in giving me ideas. She told me it would be a couple of weeks before I got her estimate. There were a string of emails about a potential problem with plumbing. She said the plumber wanted to charge me $400 to put a camera in my toilet to check out the plumbing. I was reluctant to do that before I committed to this company, or that issue. (My eventual contractor, Brillo, managed to do the job without this $400 fee upfront). By December I still did not have an estimate. Donna also took a couple of days to return my calls. I eventually sent an email to Donna thanking her for her time, but indicating that I was frustrated that I never got the estimate. My feeling was if I had that much problem getting an estimate, what it would be like dealing with them as a contractor. I got a phone call the next day from Masha, the owner of Design Tech, She was aware of my unhappiness and wanted to meet with me personally. So she came over to my house and we sat down to discuss my project. I was beyond shocked when she sat down with a contract, and went over all the things SHE picked out for me to come up with her estimate. Now I certainly realize I was not committed to anything at this point, but why would I sign a contract with things she picked out for my bathroom. When she got done with her presentation, I proceeded to tell her the specific items I wanted for my bathroom, but she still sat there wanting me to sign the contract, which I did not do. I was asking for a revised contract, with the specific toilet, faucet, etc. that I had picked out. I had done my research and knew exactly what I wanted at this point. She made it very clear that she had already spent time on this estimate and wasn't about to do it again with the specific items that I had in mind. I felt her disposition changed when I did not sign on the dotted line. Also, at no point, either in her phone call to me, or her visit with me, did she care to hear why exactly I was unhappy with Donna, her sales person. She had no interest in discussing that. As an owner of a company, I would think she would want to know why I was displeased with Donna. I have a close friend that works in a large downtown Milwaukee office. She told me her boss was going to be meeting with someone from this company. My eyes popped open and I told her what happened to me. He went ahead with the meeting and ultimately met with Masha and also came away unhappy with his dealings with her. I ended up using Brillo Home Improvement and had an absolutely wonderful experience with them.

My sister is having her bathroom completely remodeled and this company is doing it. I have been going with her as she meets w/the designers and other companies who will be supplying the materials for the job. These guys have been very professional, accesible when questions come up, open to changes and just overall great to work with. Even though it is not my bathroom being remodeled I really wanted to review these guys as my sister has been so impressed w/the service she has gotten and which I have witnessed.

They were slow getting back to us on the proposal. It also took a long time to get back to us on the modifications we made.

I had an excellent experience from start to finish with Design Tech Remodeling. After 30 years of living in our 60 year old house it was definitely time to upgrade the 1950"s kitchen and bathrooms. After receiving three bids, I chose Design Tech Remodeling - Masha had some very creative ideas that the other firms did not. Masha and her team were wonderful to work with and I could not be happier with the results. I still walk into my kitchen and bathrooms everyday and can't believe they're mine (neither can friends and relatives)! There is not one thing I would change - from the hardware on the beautiful cabinets to the lighting, countertops and flooring - everything is truly stunning. All of the tradespeople were courteous and extremely professional. I would highly recommend Design Tech Remodeling.

I love my new bathroom everytime I go into it. The job was done to perfection, on time and with extreme professionalism. The main reason I chose Design Tech was Masha Wagner who is committed to providing design consulting to her clients. She helps with the selection of productsand colors to provide a total solution. She does not drop you off at a supplier expecting you to make all the decisions. They manage their plumbing and electrical contractors and are there to inspect the work. The tile is an artistic work of art. Everyday they put drop cloths from my back door to the second floor and cleaned up every spec of remains in my garage and basement when they were finished. They started and finished the job on schedule which took a total of 4 weeks. I was so pleased with the results, I contracted with Design Tech again to install new replacement windows in my entire house without even going out for additional bids.
