Coco's Landscaping

Lawn care was good. Snow removal was not: their team plowed under areas of grass, lifting away large areas of turf, and they also plowed into my flower beds. Coco got angry when I told him about the damage this caused to my yard, refusing to even look at it. I would not recommend Coco Landscaping.

We are very pleased with the results and will use them again.

They did what was purchased through an Angie's deal, but I had told them I needed mulch around the house and asked if they would be interested. They said that they would get me a quote, but never did. I left messages for them twice, but they didn't respond.

I had issues with setting up an appointment.

Coco is a great guy he is honest and will go above and beyond to keep his customers happy. If you read his reviews the only bad review he got were with respect to the $49 Lawn Plan deal. Coco did not want this deal to go out through Angie's list but it went out anyways. He did not have the software package he did not have the software package he need to generate these plans and people started giving he bad reviews for it. He has already done three other houses in my neighborhood

I initially contacted them in May about the best time to trim our shrubs, and it turned out to be later in summer. So I called and left messages on July 10, July 15, and on July 16 I called as well as emailed. He called back the evening of July 16, and seemed unsure of the Angie's List coupon. At that time he told me he would honor the coupon but I should call back to schedule. We were out of town a few days (we had no message when we returned), and I called again and left messages on July 22, July 26 and today, July 28. I would either like to schedule service or have our money returned.

He worked along with his crew. They arrived on time, worked steadily and finished in about 3 1/2 hours. They hauled away all the old shrubs and left the area very neat.

There seems to be a lot of people on here complaining about $49 so I need to share a more positive experience. I hired them to basically tear out every bit of landscaping and regrade around a 4000 sq foot house and my overall experience was very good. They were very conscientious, showed up on time, spent lots of time with me talking about future plans, replanted things where I wanted them, and basically delivered on what was promised. I added several jobs for them through the process (another tree down there, a few stumps there) and Coco just left the bill where he had quoted it in the beginning. They were good guys to work with and hard workers.

My experience purchasing this deal was terrible. I bought the deal and they replied within two hours and told me they were no longer honoring this deal. I had to wait a long time for the refund from Angie’s List because they offered to find another provider to honor this deal, but they never got back to me. After that week, it took ten days for Angie’s List to return my money back. This should not have been available to purchase if they were not still offering the service. I have not been able to find any other company who can come out before the end of this season and now have to wait until next year before I can start the work. I will not be purchasing any other Big Deals going forward.

WE placed an order from the Big Deal list, were contacted by provider to inform us that they were unable to provide service, and asked for a refund. I then, got distracted with grading essays and work, and I forgot to send this back to you guys. Overall, we went with a different server, Integrity Landscaping, who provided us with excellent service.

The owner of Coco's was very nice, honest, and accommodating. He went out of his way to make time for me, to listen to what I wanted done, and to make sure the trees would live. His prices are very reasonable and he knows what he is doing. I would definitely use him again.

They never got a hold of me when they were supposed to.

The service provider was slow in responding to my request for an appointment, so I called and when the provider responded, he said he did not have the manpower to do anymore work and mentioned he contacted Angie's List to get the coupon removed from the site, but it was still out there for me to purchase. I think he did not understand the ramifications of being on Angie's List. What a pity. I am still interested in someone giving me an estimate on regrading my backyard, breaking up an old patio, and redoing my parking space.

I have contacted him already, and he was supposed to call me and schedule but never did.

Wow. Great work. I have a sharp edge between the lawn and the flower/garden beds. The soil was amended to make it ready for planting. All I need to do now is what for warmer weather so I can plant. Coco's Landscaping staff was professional and friendly. I am really pleased with the results. I would hire them again for future landscaping work. They did a really great job.

One contact--Coco said he can't honor it as listed because he would need to employ a landscape architect costing much more than the $49.

The offer was vague - i think people were confused by what a landscaping consult consisted of. The result was a very difficult situation for the landscaper. I think there was fault on the landscaper side, and on the angies list side in allowing this type of big deal to be offered w/ so little detail on what services you are purchasing. Ken Lutze

Cocos immediately contacted me, we talked by phone once but then I was never contacted for a date/time. Representative told me with first call that the $49. would be applied to any work done, not the $350 value. He did ultimately email and tell me they could not do the work, and I requested my money back. Coco's representative was very nice and I appreciated his email. Date above is not correct as no service was done, but I was unable to submit this without inputting a date.

They aren't offering any services so they should remove their deals.

Coco did a good job, eventhough he was quite late to the job site. He did spring clean-up of my yard and I would definately use him again. I did request quote for additional work which I have not receive yet. For the spring clean up I bought the $89 special for 4 hours. He came with a partner and they did the work in appx. 2 hrs.

I needed my yard cleaned up for Spring. Purchased the Big Deal for $89 for 4 hours of yard work. The offer said you could buy two for a big job. Heard back from the owner quickly, explained what I wanted done, basic yard clean up, Spring cutback etc. I told him that I gad planned on purchasing the second 4 hours if needed. We talked about new much and said that he would send over a proposal that evening, which he did. It was for $1400, I was a bit stunned as with two big deals, it would cover 8 hours of labor, and my yard isn't that big. I have had mulch placed before and it was a few hundred dollars for materials. I emailed him back, explained my confusion, he said to deduct the 89.00 from the quote. I explained this made no sense as this job is a labor job, so he should deduct 8 hours of labor off his quote. He said no, then went in how he loses money on the Big Deal and is no longer offering it. I came back to Angie's List and not only is the $89 deal still available, he is now offering much installed (including materials for $175). He definitely tried to take Advantage of me and refused to honor the package I purchased. I love Angie's List and have been a member for a long time and have had nothing but good experiences, but would Never do business with Coco's again and would definitely beware if you do.

I purchased an Angie's deal and I'm extremely impressed with this company. They were prompt, polite and professional. They worked very hard and I could tell that they take their work and customer service seriously. We will definitely use this company again.

The landscaper had poor communication about what was expected from Angie's List, and the deal was misunderstood. So I cancelled it.

The job I needed done was just a little too much. The gentleman was very pleasant. He contacted me back and let me know there was a problem, which I appreciated.

I was interested in the "Big Deal" - 4 hours for $89.00 and phoned. They came out the next morning to look at my yard -- that all went very well and I was excited. I even called a friend who had also been looking for someone. Then came the estimate --- almost $550 with $200 in Labor. I emailed saying that I had originally indicated I was interested in the "Big Deal" and could they recalculate. Next email simply told me to subtract the $89 I would pay thru Angie's List ($89 to Angie's Deal plus $111 to them still equaled $200) . I wrote back saying I did not think that was how the deal was to work and truly my TINY yard could not take more than 8 hours of work! By lunch they had not come back with a correction and I hired someone highly recommended by a friend. I can understand the original error --- but got frustrated with proposed correction and then no response!
