Tim Novak made great recommendations and suggestions. He was very helpful in suggesting an excellent service for blind resizing. Gerardo Mayerstein installed the resized and the new blinds - absolute perfection. All the blinds look wonderful - we are extremely pleased with the results. Only disappointment was that a color originally chosen for one window was later pronounced "unavailable;" however, this was not a major problem. Kathy was pleasant and easy to deal with, on initial visit. Tim, who did the installation, was prompt, efficient, and polite, as well. I would definitely hire again, and recommend to others. This was an incredible experience from start to finish. Tim, the owner, is absolutely fantastic to work. He was not only detailed and professional but brought great ideas when we met for the first time. I loved the fact that he was prepared with samples that I could see and hold up to my windows. The order was put in and the minute they arrived from oversees, he called and made time that day to come and install them. I love the way this company works and will be using them again for my kitchen window treatments. Thanks Tim....Great Job!!!

Upon making the appointment I informed BB that I was looking for a quote as we were not able to financially commit as of yet. (Our appointment was in the fall 2015). Tim came out to my house and was very nice and completely professional. It did not matter to him that I was not purchasing at the current time. He simply wanted to provide me with the quote and product that match my project. I am confident that we will go with Budget Blinds very soon to complete this long awaited project because of the quality of product and most importantly the quality and professionalism Tim showed me.

I purchased shades for my family room. There are two broken pull chains and I called for a repair today. I was told by Stephanie that my purchase was made prior to the new franchise owner, so they had no records. Ok, I get that. In order to have someone just come look at my shades, they want to charge me $65.00! That does not include the additional visit and simple repair. I even suggested that someone just come when they are in the neighborhood but that was not an option. Happy to pay for the repair, it's a simple job. There is no reason to even come look at it prior to repairing. When the shades were installed they didn't have the matching chain so used a temporary one, which took 5 to minutes to install when they came back to replace it. It's not the customers fault that the franchise was sold to another person! Stephanie was very polite and gave me the name of another company to check with for repairs. My beef is not with her.

They were most pleasant and professional, making excellent recommendations. We ordered the shade which was promised for a January 14th installation. The installer came promptly on January 14th and we are very pleased with the quality of the shade, its fit and installation.

They installed the blinds originally, so the repair was covered under the warranty. I was completely satisfied with what they did. They were on time, completed the job, and cleaned up well.

We found the service at Budget Blinds of Mequon to be excellent. They returned our initial call promptly, and sent someone within a few days. Kim is their estimator. She is also a design consultant who will help you get the best looking blinds or shades you can afford. She spent HOURS with me over three days, making suggestions and responding to my questions. Kim is the reason we went with BBM over another very highly rated company. They were also very cooperative about coming back to make adjustments as requested. You can order Budget's own brand of cellular shades, or the more expensive Hunter-Douglas brand. We went with Budget's Signature line. We ordered 2 regular and 8 up-down cellulars in a combination of corded and cordless, and 10 regular fabric shades. There was about 3-4 week delay between placing the order and receiving the shades, and one of the up-downs mistakenly came as a down only. The correct shade was ordered, but took another couple of weeks to come in and another week before it could be installed. During this delay, we had a chance to get used to the cellulars, and came to realize that for the Signature brand, the tiny clip-on plastic handles which you are supposed to grip to raise and lower the cordless cellulars are flimsy and virtually useless. Budget tried to correct this, at my request, by adding an extra handle, but that hasn't worked out either, so we just grip the top or bottom of the cassette. It's a minor nuisance which does not prevent the blinds from working smoothly, and overall we are very satisfied with their quality.

He arrived on time for the initial consultation. No hard sell. Very helpful going through the many alternatives in his products. Scheduled the appointments to meet my schedule. Arrived on time for the installations. Everything went smoothly, start to finish.

I like my blinds. I am surprised they didn't shorten certain clips so kids didn't get into them and choke themselves. If I pull the blinds all the way to the top they are hanging past the window sill. I am surprised there is no place to put them on the side of the frame. He also scratched the metal part when he was installing them. He had to get a replacement. There are still scratches on the top.

It turned out fine. There was no problem at all. It was a one man operation. He did everything. When we had a problem we called him up. He took it back and fixed it and put it back up.

We got a coupon and we love their products. They are expensive and we could not afford for them to do the whole home. They have a high quality product and they were prompt and they have an interior designer so they will help you in finding what you love. They are expensive but it is great quality.
