Overall the project went very well. The initial consultation was very professional, and his estimate was accurate. We were asked to buy the paint and primer from a local hardware store, which we did not mind doing. However because we purchased water based primer as opposed to an oil based primer there was some bleed through on the first coat on many of the cabinets. This was corrected though, and in the end the finish came out quite nice. The items that were sprayed, have a very nice even finish. The spraying was done in our backyard, and proper care was taken to protect the lawn and over spray was minimal. He even suggested to our neighbors that they should move their cars out of their nearby driveway just in case. I gave the quality a B, only due to some paint being applied to the underside of the counter tops where they protrude beyond the lower cabinets, a streak or two on appliances placed between cabinets, and a few drip marks on the island cabinet and one of the upper cabinet sides. In fairness to Paul, we did not ask him to correct either of these issues nor did we point them out as issues so he did not have an opportunity to correct them, I'm sure he would have if asked as he is quite professional and easy to work with. We decided none of the issues would be worth the additional time required to correct as they are not highly visible. Despite this, I will stress that in the end we were pleased with the experience overall.

Paul was the low bidder for this paint job and I liked the fact that he was local. Very professional, very conscientious, and very friendly. Ahead of time, I removed all our possessions from the foyer so that it was ready for painting. Paul had an assistant work with him for the first four hours, which entailed the high ladder work in the foyer, and then he worked alone for the remaining three and a half hours. Work started around 7:45 AM and was completed by 3:30 PM. I would highly recommend Paul.

We first used Ardyw (Paul Wydra) to remove a finished basement wall as part of the repair of a basement wall that had cracked and moved inward. After the wall was moved, braced and tuckpointed, I needed to begin restoring the recreation room. Since Paul had done such a great job on removing the finished wall, I hired him to build a new one. This project included framing, drywalling, insulating, drywall finishing and painting. After that was completed, we had Paul finish off other areas of the room. This work included repairing the grid on a suspended ceiling, replacing all of the ceiling panels, installing a new vinyl tile floor, removing and reinstalling baseboards and painting the paneling on all of the walls. Blending the new wall and the ceiling panels into the basement windows was very challenging, and Paul came up with an attractive and functional solution. While he was at our home working on the recreation room, we also had him repair and paint two wood sections on the outside of our home and caulk a tub and kitchen sink. Everything was done professionally and with an extremely high level of quality. The bonus that came with all of this was the amount that we paid for the work. Paul's charges were far less than we would have anticipated for someone with his excellent skills. The quality of work and reasonable pricing make Ardyw a real bargain for home remodeling and handyman work. We will always contact Ardyw first whenever we need work done at our home. Our only hesitation in telling Angie's List members about Ardyw is that they will be too busy with other work the next time we need to use them.

Paul started the work on the day promised. Had one assistant. Completed the work in about a week. All of the work he did is meticulous with attention to detail. No dripped paint spots, walls and woodwork look great. Other than transforming the apartment, could not tell he had been there. We have contracted with Paul on other units and have been equally pleased. He has done deck and siding work on our home. I have referred him to friends who have also been pleased with his work. I would highly recommend him.

Very responsive and flexible in material selection. Completed the interior painting of about 2600 sq. ft. house to a neutral color in under 2 days. Thanks for paint type suggestion he was able to complete the job in one coat hiding even the darkest red color. Very professional and punctual. I will be calling him again when I need help with interior painting.

Showed up on time. Did meticulous work. Was very fussy with the cedar boards he chose to use (I had to exchange some of them which was okay with me). Had great suggestions on how to replace the sidewalk support structure. Very satisfied with the end product. I have used Paul for work on my home and apartments I own. Very dependable, cost effective and does great work. I have recommended him to others who were equally satisfied.

We were please with the service from start to finish. We were surprised how much dirt was removed by the power wash. Now with the new stain, rain water beads on the surface. The deck looks great!

ARDYW, INC. Paul Wydra I contracted with ARDYW, INC for a major job of painting for our two story 35 year old house. Our house has cedar siding that was in pretty bad shape even though we have had the house stained every five years. Paul approached us after seeing we had been talking to a painting contractor. He proposed staining our house including the trim, windows, and storms and provided a reasonable estimate for the service which included power washing, scraping and spot priming, caulking, and included top quality stain and caulk. He provided a separate estimate for carpentry work. After the power wash, it became clear that there was a problem with "delamination" on a number of boards and Paul recommended that we go with scraping of the entire house to do it right. This upped the estimate by quite a bit but I felt this was the best thing to do and I’m glad we did. There was considerable replacement of some siding, as well as replacement of rotted trim around the two garage doors and some of the windows. Overall, I felt the job went quite well. I especially appreciated Paul's carpentry skills which allowed "one stop service" and kept me from having to contract with a painter and separately with a handyman to do carpentry. Paul bought the necessary materials and billed me separately. He also washed all of the windows and storms with a separate bid. Paul was very conscientious throughout the job. He had three different employees working for him at various times. They were all friendly and did good work but weren't always dependable for showing up when expected. This was a challenge for Paul and extended the job but in the end did not cause a problem. It did however cause a two week job to become a four week job. Paul did a good cleanup at the end. He is very personable and takes pride in his work. It was a pleasure having him do this work and I would definitely recommend ARDYW, INC to others. I would again use Paul for a major painting job as well as for smaller jobs.

Ardwyn Inc. did a wonderful job. They arrived on time each day and stayed until the job was completed each day. They finished the job ahead of schedule. He changed me the quoted price despite the fact that it took him longer to finish. I have recommended Ardwyn Inc. to family members, friends and neighbors and everyone has had similar experiences. I would not hesitate to recommend Ardwyn Inc. to others again.

Paul arrived on time, kept me informed on progress, finished within the time he estimated, met me at the unit for inspection and did a wonderful job. The transformation was amazing. Painting was very professional and workmanship was excellent. Paul is an easy guy to work with. He covers details of the work he is going to do, explains the estimate and holds to it.....no surprises in the end. I highly recommend him!

There was a significant delay in getting the work started, but once it was started, it was excellent.

The job went very well. The soffet removal included replacing ceiling drywall and re-texturing it to match what we already had. He did a wonderful job- no visible seams and the ceiling texture blends nicely from one room to another. The fireplace that he sprayed looks fantastic. Because it was sprayed, it has a very smooth finish without "brush strokes"- exactly the look we were going for. The great room and hallway have a fresh coat of paint and look great! We will definitely hire Paul again for future projects!

I contacted the owner of ARDYW by telephone, and he returned my call the same day. We made an appointment for an estimate, and he showed up at the scheduled time. Pawel (you can call him Paul) understood the job completely and provided an estimate that was so reasonable that it was unnecessary to contact a competing contractor. He showed up on the scheduled date for the work with an additional worker. Both of them were personable and professional. The job was finished on time, and all of the cable about which I was concerned had no damage. Upon completion, the workplace was very clean. All of the project waste was removed from my home. The bill I received was for the exact amount upon which we agreed. I found Pawel to be a extremely knowledgable, professional and a joy to work with. This was one of the best experiences I have ever had with a contractor, and I am already looking for more jobs for Pawel to do at my home.

This is the third job Paul has done at our house. His quality of work and fee structure is very good. He is professional, personable, and pleasant. Will definitely hire him again.

Pawel (goes by Paul in English) is the BEST! He does quality work on everything from painting, glazing windows, tuck-pointing brick, trim work, drywall repair, and general handyman stuff (replaced my broken screen in my back door). He is serious about doing a great job, and personal enough to enjoy having in your house. He prices are extremely fair. He seems to be available almost every afternoon and weekends, so work moves quickly. He certainly has the attitude that once he starts a job, he will continue to return to your home to complete it -- he won't leave you with work half done. I am writing this review after hiring for the second time -- so I trust his work holds up. I already have referred him to a few friends, and already have asked him to add two additional projects to his to-do list. It is very reassuring to have someone I feel I can call when something to addressing, and Pawel will always be my first call.

I?m very pleased with the handyman who comes out from Ardyw Inc. Company. He has done some painting work for me in the past so I decided to go with him for the siding work also. I?m just impressed with his service. He is prompt. He is honest; I can leave him alone in my house. He is professional and does a very good job. His pricing is reasonable; it?s fair. I would absolutely use him again in the future.

He was professional, prompt and did a very nice, neat job. He took a sample of the paint in my living room and matched it perfectly for the windows. The bookshelf and the desk turned out exactly as I wanted them to look. I will defintiely call him again to do this type of work.

My subzero refrigerator washer/connector was acting up. Water was seeping through my dropped ceiling that created a massive puddle of water down on the basement floor. It was messy and required a lot of clean up. I called Pawel Wydra to have my dropped ceiling boards replaced. He did a fine job and my ceiling looked as good again. One disaster came after the other as my dishwasher pipes were clogged up, spewing water all over my kitchen sink and countertop. Pawel Wydra came to the rescue! He went to buy new pipes for the dishwasher and had them replaced on the same day. He had done some paint jobs around the house as well. I am very satisfied with his work performance. He is honest and reliable. No job is too small nor too big for Pawel Wydra. You can count on him.
