Al is very professional and courteous and I'd definitely hire him again but I would suggest you make sure you have EVERYTHING on contract before agreeing to the terms. He's very easy to talk to and responsive. Dumpster was included with the final invoice price. His prices can't be beat but as the saying goes "you get what you pay for" we got exactly what we paid for. The actual new roof is perfect and there's nothing wrong with it but I just have a few complaints about other things that I thought could have been handled better. 1.) when they tore the roof off they also tore off the gutters and now the gutters no longer align properly with the new roof. Rain water is literally dripping off the edge of the roof and directly into the foundation. Apparently the Fascia boards were rotted to the point where they can no longer align flush/properly with our old gutters (which doesn't really make sense because it wasn't doing that before - in fact it's even worse now than before.) They wanted another $2000 for that repair... 2.) The tear off was messy. our attic was completely filled with debris. There was pretty much wood chips and old nails everywhere and when asked if they could clean it up they refused since it wasn't part of the contract... to his credit though Al did personally offer to pick up some of the larger pieces of debris with us. There was also left over debris here and there outside the exterior of the home but overall I thought they did a pretty good job with the EXTERIOR clean up. Overall though I'd say they did a great job on the roof and to be fair they did complete everything outlined in the contract. I just assumed the things I complained about was already included in the contract. The house was over 2000 sq ft and they finished within less than a week. I would hire again since I think Al is a good and honest person.

Everything went well and as expected. Would hire again and have recommended Al for other jobs.

The whole process was way quicker than my husband and I expected. The crew came in got to work. They were very friendly and professional. Al made sure that he went over all the details regarding the work being done on each day. When everything was done we couldn't be happier. We got exactly what we paid for and more. We were so pleased with XL Contracting that we hired them to remodel our upstairs Bathroom We can't wait! You can't beat their prices and service anywhere.
