Window Select

Don’t use this company. I ordered windows and door from them in July of 2021 and still haven’t heard anything from them. I try calling, got the run around and no one returned my phone call. I try to cancel my order and get a refund but all the phone calls was forwarded to a call center. The people there can’t do anything other then saying someone will call me in 48 hrs but no one call. Stay away from this company they are scammers

We were told installation in March. Never received any call updating us so we had to call only to find out it will now be July. Also when we paid our deposit in full, they deposited the check twice! $20k!!! We were then offered tickets in their Packers suite for the inconvenience. I will do nothing but share my negative experiences with this company until my windows are installed and the window installation process and quality exceeds my expectations and makes up for the horrific customer service or I get my full payment back. I urge anyone to run as far away from this company as you can. Ammendment: My husband met with Justin yesterday to discuss the fact that we have paid in full and do not have any windows or an installation date. After what we thought was a satisfactory discussion and agreement that Justin would come here today to sign an amended/fair agreement with us, Justin is tied up downtown and unable to make it. Could be true but this man has given me no reason to trust him. After my husband spoke with Christy (spelling?)...who also turns out to be his fiance!!! from the company this past weekend, we were feeling hopeful about all of this and willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and unfortunately Justin has failed to come through for us today. WARNING! Buyer beware. Scam Alert. The purpose of this review is to warn homeowners and other small businesses about Window Select. We were lied to and Window Select refuses to pay their outstanding bills. I’ve reached out to them repeatedly since November to simply get what is owed to us and receive the runaround every time. We even worked out a payment plan with them and that promise was broken. If anyone was seriously thinking about using this company for windows, doors, siding, or any home improvement needs. I would find another company immediately. Or understand they have some very unethical business practices. If anyone from Window Select is monitoring these posts. Please do what is right and pay us for services rendered.

Avoid Window Select. They are unprofessional, not on time, and generally incompetent. Here's a timeline. On 9/3/20, Window Select came to my house and showed me the type of upstairs bathroom window I would have installed to replace an existing one. I was told that due to Covid, their suppliers were backed up and it would take 8-12 weeks to get the window. Fast forward to February 2021, when Window Select cancels on two different install dates. I had to call them on both occasions to find out they were canceling. On 3/2/21 they finally installed the window, but with a badly bent frame on the screen. Don't worry, I was told. They would order a new one and it would be installed very soon. In May 2021, a young man came to install the screen. Except he didn't know he was installing a framed screen and not just replacing a torn screen material on an existing frame. He went back to the shop and returned with the wrong framed screen, something bigger than the entire window (I only have a screen on the bottom half), and he had no ladder. He then proceeded to interrogate me about who installed the window. How many people were involved in the install? What did they look like? I cut this line of questioning off, telling him his shop should surely have all that information. How was I to remember, and why should I have to? It is now 7/15/21, and I am still waiting for my damaged screen to be replaced. It is over 4 months since the window installation, and over 10 months since I ordered the window! They bribed me once to take down a bad review here. I took the money and did my part. But here I am many months later. A damaged screen was installed, and it has yet to be replaced. I have been working with Stephanie, but she has not returned my calls this week.

We had a great experience with this company. We needed to replace all the windows in our sunroom and we chose Window Select. The installers were on time, very courteous, and cleaned up after themselves. We love our new windows.

We had a couple companies come out and give us an estimate replacing 12 windows in our home. Window Select was by far the easiest to work with. They listened to what we wanted rather than other companies that tried to sell us. Overall it was a great experience!
