Description of Work: I hired Walter's painting to do my entire house when I moved in last October. Wade was prompt and courteous and gave us a great quote. His crew was great as well, completing the job on time and as expected. I would definitely recommend Walter's Painting to anyone and will definitely use them again for when I touch up trim on the outside of my house in the spring.

Description of Work: I used Wade and his company to paint and wallpaper my business; OUTSTANDING workmanship, attention to detail, and follow up after the job to do touch up and repairs as needed...he's not the cheapest, but no one this good will ever be the cheapest. Would use him again in a heartbeat.

+ -1 moreWade took time to discuss the estimate with my husband and myself. His estimate was in line with other estimates that we were given. We decided to have Wade to the job for several reasons: his team would hand brush 2 coats of paint, he had a carpenter on staff who could fix any outside problems, we were able to drive by and see previously painted houses( I'm a visual person) and he had a high ranking fron Angie's List. Once the power washing was completed they promptly started the job. They cleaned up their work area each day, so it looked as if no one had been here.
Description of Work: We had the alumnium siding, shutters and downspouts painted. The entire house was pressure washed and recaulked before painting. Wade felt that the gutters and fascia wouldn't need painting since they would use a mildicide along with the pressure washing. We were happy with the results so went didn't have them painted.

+ -1 moreExcellent- crew of approx 5 was out painting most days, which worked out great with the limited good painting weather at the end of this fall.
Description of Work: Painted the exterior of my 1 1/2 story cape cod house, including all the cedar siding , wood trim, shutters and a shed, and arbor. The owner, Wade Alters, was very professional, courteous, and very thorough. He even sent a Sherman William paint expert out to our house to get his expert advise on the "chalkiness" still on our cedar siding after the pressure cleaning. As a result, Walters Painting oil base primed ALL of our cedar siding, in addition to the 2 final coats of latex stain. We utilized their carpenter to replace rotten wood and change a porch post and trim for aesthetic reasons. Carpenter "handyman" also suggested adding vents in our soffit for better air circulation which was a great, and low cost idea. (we paid for carpenter services in time and material) House looks great -have received many compliments.

+ 2 moreWade met with us at the the start of the project. His crew was thorough and paid attention to detail as they spent significant time prepping the house for paint. Wade and I had regular (sometimes daily) conversations to keep us updated on progress. The crew stayed focused on the job until it was complete. They thoroughly cleaned up on a daily basis and left little evidence from their work. Upon completion, Wade returned for a final walk through.
Description of Work: Thorough preparation of of wood: power wash, scrape, sand, minor wood repair, peel bond application. Prime and paint detail trim, windows, cedar shakes, and garage.

We walked around the home and talked about what we wanted done and he made suggestions that were very helpful. His crew was professional, friendly, and excellent at their work. I would highly recommend Walter's Painting for anyone looking for an honest, hard-working company that you can depend on.
Description of Work: Wade's crew painted the outside of our home, including trim and the garage door. They painted two coats and even three where the coverage was needed. His carpenter replaced rotting wood when necessary and built new column surrounds for our front porch and light "blocks" for our new exterior lighting to sit appropriately on our home.

The job was completed in less than a week and in my opinion they did a perfect job. Wade was so helpful in choosing the right paint for the application; solid stain, deck stain and door paints. Excellent prep work was done before the paint went on. I highly recommend Walter's Painting. Once again, Angie's List's recommendations made our job of hiring the perfect contractor effortless.
