Description of Work: The last time that I used Waldschmidts was on May 10th for lawn mower repair.

 + -1 moreThey charged me $60.00 labor for replacing two bad nuts on my chainsaw. They had been a bit damaged from me trying to get them loosened. Being an older woman I just wasn't strong enough. I took it in to Waldschmidts and told them all that it needed was to get the nuts off and put two new ones on. The nuts cost $3.74 and the labor $60.00. I feel completely gauged and feel strongly that I have been ripped off.
Description of Work: Replaced two nuts on chainsaw and sharpened the chain.

lawn mower repair
 + -1 moreMY TRACTOR FAILED TO START IN LATE SEPTEMBER 2005 AFTER SHUTTING IT OFF TO EMPTY THE HOPPER. THIS OCCURRED AFTER THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT HAD ALREADY CLOSED ON A SATURDAY. THEY WERE NICE ENOUGH TO SEND SOMEONE ANYWAY TO PICK UP TRACTOR WHEN I EXPLAINED THAT IT WOULDN'T START AND I COULDN'T PUSH IT BACK UP MY DRIVEWAY INTO THE GARAGE MYSELF. SINCE THEY WERE KIND ENOUGH TO COME FOR IT, I HAD THEM DO A COMPETE SERVICING, IN ADDITION TO FIXING THE PROBLEM THAT CAUSED IT NOT TO START, WHICH WAS THE VOLTAGE REGULATOR. THEY SAID THE BATTERY WAS BEING OVERCHARGED BY THE FAULTY REGULATOR. THE TRACTOR PERFORMED AND HANDLED LIKE IT WAS BRAND NEW WHEN I GOT IT BACK AND I WILL LIKELY HAVE THEM SERVICE IT EACH YEAR.
Description of Work: LAWN TRACTOR SERVICE. TESTED ELECTRICAL SYSTEM & REPLACED ALL OF THE FOLLOWING: VOLTAGE REGULATOR, BATTERY, 2 FRONT TIRES, SPARK PLUGS, AIR & FUEL FILTERS, OIL & OIL FILTER. THEY CLEANED THE EXHAUST PORTS, ADJUSTED GOVERNOR & RPM'S, CHECKED BELTS, ADDED LUBRICATION, GREASE, PERFORMED BLADE SHARPENING, & POWER WASHED TRACTOR, INCLUDING UNDERNEATH DECK. PICK-UP AND DELIVERY.

 + 0 moreTHESE PEOPLE DID A GOOD JOB AND WERE NICE TO DEAL WITH BUT OUR GRASS GOT TO ABOUT A FOOT HIGH BECAUSE THEY DID NOT GET THE TRACTOR DONE IN THE TIME WE REQUESTED.
Description of Work: WE NEED OUR SIMPLICITY LAWN TRACTOR SERVICED AND PREPARED FOR SUMMER AND THE LOWER DECK FIXED.
