I enjoyed speaking with Gary and would not hesitate to hire him for any type of concrete replacement, repair, removal, etc.

Gary was exceptionally prompt and efficient with his phone calls and appointments. If there was any delay, he was sure to call. Crew came when I was not present and placed "mold" for my approval. Felt step was too small and requested larger step due to elderly family members. Also felt shape was off but when I expressed my concerns, they were happy to accommodate. Ultimately, shape of patio was still a little too symmetrical for me but once shrubs are placed and patio has furniture, it won't be noticeable. The brush finish was a little inconsistent (I can't imagine how hard that is to do) but I think with time and weather, it will all be the same. Love the step. Gary and his crew also installed an underground downspout with heavy duty PVC to divert water away from house and patio. Really happy with overall job. Felt price was very competitive.

I called Gary and left a message on a Friday. He called back that same day. The next morning he looked at the situation and gave me an estimate. The following Monday, he and his assistant completed the job and cleaned up after themselves. I was very pleased, plus Gary is very nice and friendly. I would hire him again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

Gary came over soon after receiving my call. He looked over the concrete and gave me an estimate before he left that day. He explained to me that he would use a 7 bag mix as opposed to the other estimate which would use a 6 bag mix. The work was scheduled the next week. The first day Gary and the workers arrived to remove the old concrete. They were careful to put down boards where the equipment would need to go on the grass. The next day the workers came to pour the concrete. They were friendly and professional, taking time to clean up when they were finished. Gary came later in the day to help finish and check everything over. I would definitely use them again.

The company provided competitive pricing and was very professional. They completed work in a timely matter and cleaned up materials after. Very happy with their work!

It went really well. Gary and the crew always showed up early and stayed on the job until the work was done. The guys were actually courteous and friendly (not at all what I've come to expect from concrete workers.) They explained that they had placed 7 concrete footings in place to hold the patio securely so, they said, it will never settle. Very impressive, both that they did it and that that took the time to tell us. This was not specified in the contract. They just did it because it was the best thing to do. I think this is why they cost a little more - they do it right. I gave them a B for pricing because they were higher in price than everyone else. I could have had this job done for 5000 or less. But I'm glad I didn't do that. It looks great and I am confident that it will last a long, long time.Also did beautiful work replacing cracked bricks and tuckpointing.P.S. These guys are artists, I swear. They painstakingly detailed the top finish on the concrete and the edges by hand and the appearance is absolutely top notch. Worth the extra dollars!

When I called Gary Thompson to quote for the job he arrived shortly after the call and was very courteous and professional. Gary spent the time to explain the process and addressed to my satisfaction any concerns that I had about the job and provided the quote before he left. I originally just wanted the patio removed but decided to replace the patio and received quotes from other contractors as well. When I contacted Thompson Construction for a new quote Gary arrived within 15 minutes after the call and provided the most reasonable price for the job. I accepted the quote and Gary and his assistant started the job 7:00am the following morning. I was concerned that the grass would be damaged leading to the patio and that the house and garage foundations might be damaged because the patio was tight against them but Gary and his assistant laid down plywood for the loader to drive on and they were very careful in removing the concrete. By noon all the concrete and hedges were removed and by the afternoon the form was built for the new patio, the concrete was poured and the topsoil was in place. The next morning they finished raking out the topsoil, removed the plywood and did a good job of cleaning up everything. I am very pleased with the job they did. They are very skilled and hardworking people and I would highly recommend them.

As ussual, my bloodpressure never went up even once. And that is amazing, considering the size of the pour.

The estimate was timely and the work was done soon afterward. I have had several compliments from neighbors and I am very pleased with the work. I contacted this vendor because of the positive reviews on Angie's List, and they were reliable! It is quality work at a fair price.

Gary was on time, & gave me as estimate immediately. He worked over the weekend to get the job done considering the weather. He was great to work with & I would highly recommend him.

Gary responded right away to my call and was at my home to provide a proposal at my earliest convenience. All work was completed as scheduled and nicely performed. I was very pleased with my experience.

It went well. I called him and he called me back the next day. He called when he was running a bit late and called me back after he left to let me know of some work he had done in my neighborhood to check out his work.

He was punctual and showed up on time. The concrete has held up.

I was working with a few other trades at the time Gary and his crew, which included Robin his brother and "Doc" were working; everyone was very impressed with the speed and quality of the work. The end product is amazing as you can see by the photos below. I will work with Thompson Construction again!

Excellent work. They started promptly at 7 am and were ready to pour the concrete by 9 am. The patio had been dug out but they did the finish preparation. Once the pour ws completed they stayed longer as it was taking a while to set up, even though this delayed them from starting another job. Once the finish was set he came back the enxt morning to seal it. Oveerall excellent work and a great attention to detail and cleanup.

They were a fun group to work with. All questions were answered completely to my satisfaction and the experience was very enjoyable. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone or use them again in the future.

Gary was prompt and helpful when he came out to give me an estimate. He was able to schedule the job promptly. Job was accomplished in a timely manner. Everything was cleaned up and the job looks great. I'm very pleased with the end result and the service I got.

He seems sincere and he's been in business for longtime. He was good, just that he wanted us to pay $1000 more than probably we should pay. I think he had all kinds of experience; he was in business for long time. He knew what he was talking, very sincere about what he was going to do and what he wouldn't do. I was very impressed with him; it's just that it was more than what I thought we would have to pay. Yes I would consider using him.

He laid the concrete two years ago but it cracked and fell apart so he redid it for free. He went by his word and he redid it for free even though he didn?t have to. The good thing is that, when he was done, he put topsoil and seed down on the area that had been dug up. I would use this company again.

They did a really good job. Gary Thompson is the owner. They were very good and very knowledgeable about building codes and all that was required. They were prompt and they went over and above the contract. After getting the work done they brought in more fill to change the elevations around the house so I had proper drainage around the house.

The company came early and eager to bid on the job. The first day they showed up late and did very little work. The job was completed with flaws and I called them to come back-only after the check was stopped did they agree to come out. The crew was drinking on the job-the owner seems very nice but seemed to have lost control of his crew

I had contacted 7 contractors for this job. Gary Thompson and one other contractor were the most responsive, professional, and took the most time to help me understand the details of the job. Gary was able to move quickly to schedule and complete the job. Old concrete and porch was removed and new concrete was poured in one day. Completed all unfinished carpentry, walkway repair, and clean-up the following day. Excellent job completed in just two days. Minimal disruption and hassle for us. Gary and co-workers are friendly and professional. I highly recommend Gary Thompson and crew.
