I think they were off Angie's List. The quality of their work could have been a little better. They were missing a little on some things that needed to be done. I personally thought that the work was great, but my wife came by with her white gloves afterwards and said "they missed this".
I also have a very hyper dog, who doesn't like cleaning noises. So he has to be left in our basement when they come. I can't leave him all day. I made arrangements that i was the first clean of the day and then I could come home at lunch and let the dog out. But they keep changing the time. Today it was changed to 11-1. So I came home and waited and waited and they never showed. They called at 1:30 and said they'd be there between 2:30 and 3. (which means they'd probably get there by 4 from past experience). If they come that last-it's right when the kids are getting home.
I tried to call the office and the messages were full. Even if i get someone one the phone, you have to explain over and over again, because they don't speak good eneough English. It is very frustrating. if I need to talk to someone at my home when they are there, there is supposed to be one person on the team that can talk with me-but it's not good.
Today, is Mother's day weekend and I had guests coming in. It is now 2 and now I have to clean the house! I am not happy. I have only been with them 4 weeks. I was giving them the benefit of the doubt-but they can't get their act together. Don't hire them!
"The Maids 5-29-12 Our initial deep clean does take longer as we damp wipe all woodwork, heating vents, pick up all items on table tops (dusting items) as well as left to right, vacuuming high with extenders from where the ceiling meets the wall (ceiling fans, blinds, as well as under all furniture, beds, floors, and upholstery) that we bill hourly for a professional team of four. We then maintain all of these areas on a regular basis. The member hired The Maids to clean Wednesdays before 3:00 every other Wednesday. After following up; the member was very happy with our initial deep clean on 2-28. We agreed every other week on Wednesdays and our clean rate was 174. for a team of four. We also applied a 100. Coupon (50. on the first, 25. on the third, and 25. on the fifth cleans) with a commitment of regular service. Due to the member’s travel schedule she could not do 3-14, so we went to 3-22 three weeks out. The Maids Services weekly or bi-weekly with the benefit of having the same team as well as accommodating busy Client schedules. The Maids gives a courtesy call the day before our scheduled clean with a two hour arrival time. Upon looking at our route card agenda paper work for scheduled cleans on 3-22, 4-11, and 4-27 our team arrived within the two hour time of arrival. We then agreed to servicing the member on Fridays 4-27 and then 5-11. On 5-11 our assistant team leader became ill and for the rest of the day the team operated as a three member team vs. a four. Our supervisor gave the member a call at 1:30 behind stating they would arrive between 2:30 to 3:00. The member shared forget the clean as her company was coming at 5:00. We received the member’s email stating to forget the clean today. I called the member and apologized sharing our situation about being behind with our three member team. I shared our team would have her clean accomplished before her company arrived, she said forget it. Our bilingual operating manager called the member at 2:30 sharing that our team was by her home and we would do the clean complimentary. The member choose not to have us clean. We wished the member and her family the best."
Overall I feel that they talk a good talk, but do not walk the walk.
I also had an incident happen where $54 was found missing from my wallet yesterday after they left and thus far the owner has not apologized, or even called me back to tell me if she was able to find out any information.
I have never put a bad review out in public before however in this case I felt that I had to let others know about my experience.
