Description of Work: A grease trap overflowed in the basement of a commercial building. They cleaned up the mess. They did a good job, but I felt that the price was a bit high. I had to do a bit more cleaning after they were done, but it was a seriously messy job and I'm glad I didn't have to do the whole job.

Description of Work: We had a major water damage claim, about $60K worth, and ServPro did the rebuild. We stressed that communication was extremely important to us and that this property, for health reasons, was no smoking. The communication was not the greatest - we chased the project lead for information constantly. AND several of the subs were smoking on the property and in the house - as in a burnt out cigarette was left on the stairs where the carpeting had been removed (fortunately) but it was on the bare wood of the tread (scary!). The response to our complaints was an assurance that yet again they would talk to the subs. That seemed to be a stock response; with no improvement in behaviors. We have also had an issue where the flooring has lifted at a seam. ServPro did have their flooring contractor come back out to fix the floor. The seam has been glued down and appears to be fixed, but the flooring is just a year old.

Description of Work: Clean up broken pipe water damage. They came right away and started quickly to clean up the water. They were very professional. It was obvious they knew just what to do. We were very satisfied with the end result. Once the initial water clean up was done they set up dehumidifiers and fans that finished the job. They had meters that could measure the humitiy levels, even inside the walls. | |The entire process took several days. You can expect a higher electric bill at the end of the month. Some insurance componies will pay that excess electric charge. Mine did.

Description of Work: They took pictures and measurements. Two men double teamed me while my son was away. They were here to do flood damage restoration. They dropped my kohler toilet onto my concret floor and broke it. They also broke off a corner of my countertop. They only worked for 4 hours and I had to fire them. I found them taking pictures in rooms that did not need any work. When the "electricians" arrived they acknowledged they did not have electrical licensing or training. An asbestos removal team also arrived, Monday, however they arrived without any kind of protection - they worked for 5 hours. It seemed odd that they would come to remove "asbestos" and not be protected.

Description of Work: Mildew was found on the carpet in the basement of a home we had just purchased. Sellers arranged for them to clean the carpet. The young man who was here was very informative and thorough. When the smell did not leave he brought back 3 fans and left them for several days to completely dry out the basement. Very pleasant experience.

+ -1 moreI told my insurance company, which in turn informed them. They arrived that same day - it was New Year’s Day, actually. They started on the work immediately. The insurance company paid for the work. They kept in touch with me almost on a daily basis. I would rate them highly.
Description of Work: I have a 2-storey house and a basement, and the entire house, from top to bottom, was inundated due to floods. I used Servpro of Milwaukee North to repair water damage and to store my belongings. They extracted the water, boxed up and saved what they could and had that taken to a storage facility. They tore down some ceilings and walls, and after the house was pretty much gutted, they brought in gigantic de-humidifiers for 2 weeks to try to extract as much water as they could.

Even though Servpro had the New Years holiday, they were right back the next day with a huge crew of workers. Each group was highly organized and got right to work. Lisa, in particular, was organized and "ran the show" for packing and moving furniture and household items out of the house. Everything was marked with my name, which room the items came from and kept me informed where things would be cleaned and stored. She also comforted me and made sure I had clean clothing sent to the cleaners and returned the next day. Everything was done beautifully. The house was not safe to live in, so they made sure I had all the every day items I needed to get by. They explained where the electronics would be sent for testing, furniture for cleaning or repair, household goods and unsalvageable items. They sorted through everything!!! Several trucks were needed to get the items out of the house. I have not had a chance to meet with them to go over what I can keep and what must be thrown away, but I feel confident they will give me good advice.
Description of Work: A tsunami struck my home sometime between Christmas Day and New Years Eve. When I called the insurance company Servpro came right away and got started. Chad explained everything that needed to be done and comforted me while I had my meltdown. THEY ARE EXTREMELY HARD WORKERS AND BELIEVE ME, IT WAS A HUGE MESS. THEY MADE NO DISPARAGING REMARKS TO ME ABOUT ALL MY STUFF, JUST WENT RIGHT TO WORK.

They cleaned up after themselves. They worked very hard, and they never took any breaks. Their foreman was a complete gentleman. It was nice to deal with someone that sympathized with me.
Description of Work: They finished cleaning out all of the wet things I had in my basement, they took out some water seeped floor boards. They washed my entire basement down with an anti-microbial, then they installed at least five or six industrial type sand and dehumidifiers.
