Naturescape

I contacted Naturescape to cut the lawn of my secondary home I have up for sale. My area has had continuous rain for approximately a week, which was referenced the day I called this company, with the stipulation they would have to schedule the cutting when the rain let up. Though the ground was totally saturated, the rain did finally let up. The first thing I noticed when I pulled up to my house we’re the muddy tire marks left by the mower. The next thing I noticed was the extreme length the grass was cut at...a good 5 inches, giving my yard the appearance of needing to be cut. The front and back yard was cut but the grass between the back yard fence and the alley was not touched. No trimming was done, proof being the long grass that remained under the Patio table. I saved the worst, the most disturbing, for last. My AC unit was knocked half way off the cement pedestal. To ram the AC unit so hard to displace it is terrible. But what’s mind boggling is the fact that the employee rammed the unit and made no attempt to move it back so the customer, me, would not have known of the egregious act. I called first thing Monday and fired them. I was told that they would not bill me because of the experience.

They do periodic service from spring to fall. They were very professional. They were concerned about any concerns the customer has.

Good price but average service and quality.

Only problem is they did a poor job on weed control.

In late April, I sent an email to Naturescape in Germantown, WI, to see if I could be added to their seasonal lawn mowing service and asked them to confirm. They did confirm that they could provide the service. I wasn't sure how long it would take to get started with the service, so we waited. The first time that I noticed anyone come to do the mowing (I don't work outside of the home), was in May. They didn't mow the whole yard, in fact they didn't mow our back yard at all. The front yard was mowed, but only in certain spots. Our grass was slow to start growing this spring, so I waited to see how the next mow would go. The next time that I saw them come to mow, they again mowed only part of our front yard, and didn't even walk back to check the back yard. They left without mowing the back yard at all, which did need mowing. As my husband said, our lawn looked like it had got a bad hair cut. I called and spoke with a woman in the office and asked her to cancel my lawn mowing service. I explained to her why I wanted to cancel, and I also explained what I had just watched as far as the mowing that day. I was totally dissatisfied, and made it clear that I wanted my account cancelled, and that I would not be paying for any mowings. I was assured that this would be taken care of. Now, a couple of weeks later, we received a statement showing a balance due for two mowings. I called, again, and was told they had come out other times and didn't charge me for those. I don't understand why I would have to pay for something that wasn't even completed on 5/13 or 5/26. I was told I'd need to speak with a manager, and I am still awaiting that call. I would not recommend this service at all. Please look elsewhere if you care about the quality of the service you are paying for.

This is my second season with this company. They have successfully revived an old, weed-ridden, tired lawn. Very please with the service and the results.

We have been an Naturescape customer for many seasons, and renewed our 5 visit lawn program again for 2015. We live in an urban neighborhood, with many different types of homes and homeowners/renters. Naturescape keeps the dandelions and other weeds out of our lawn, and we appreciate that. They time the applications right, before a rain and usually during the week after I've mowed over the weekend, so I'm never "inconvenienced" by the application. They make suggestions if we have some spots that need attention, and place signs in our curb and alley so folks know to keep pets off the lawn. They are far less expensive than other services we have tried (Happy Lawns) and do a better job at keeping the weeds out and the grass looking great. We used their aeration service as an extra added on fee when the recommend it, and feel that it does make the lawn grow better.

I did compare their price to others and it is pretty close. Yes, and I did used them again.

I have been using Naturescape for at least 8 years and I have never had a problem. My lawn was in rough shape when I moved in and looks 100% better now. I like the fact that I get a discount if I prepay in full. I would recommend them.

Normally, the fertilization goes well. However, this application had a problem with a ineffecient valve which caused lines of burnt grass. As a rrsult, Naturescape sent a representative to investigate, and without argument, agreed with the problem. They will aeriate for free to reslove the damage. I was happy with the resolve I am happy with this company. I would like to suggest senior discount for those of us on a fixed income.

They are really prompt and responsive if you have any issues. They have a great price, and great work quality.

We really like them. They are an excellent service. It is between $175-$200 for a whole season. They are excellent and on time. They do a great job and our lawn looks fabulous.

Good. Took a while to respond to the order request but prompt in then coordinating the work to meet my needs

.I pay for the summer; you don't have to but its easier for me that way. They also did mosquito spraying, and it was wonderful. They are excellent, and i will keep using them.

I'm happy with their services. They do good work, and call me before they come out so that they can make sure it's a good time for me.

Extremely poor service, will never use again.

Everything went well. Actually, we were so impressed that we signed a contract for future services with them.

I never saw them in person, the work was performed at a duplex we own. It appeared they did the work they said they would do which was key for us at that point. I would use them again under the right circumstances.

We've used them for several years now and they've always fulfilled their commitments. There are five or six treatments per year and they come around a general time.

They're very nice and reasonably priced. They're weed killer works for up to two years, so I don't have to have them out as often. They're such an easy company to work with.

Sent advertising card in last week and they came out today. Even left bill in door even though I had never used them before, so they trusted me that I would pay. Just so happened that I was home so I gave the guy a check.

I have to agree with other reviewers that NatureScape's quality has indeed gone downhill. They never call anymore to say they're coming, and they do indeed rush through the work. They've gone to using a powered cart on which the tech speeds over the lawn, dispensing fertilizer and weed killer. The past two times, he's over-treated a couple areas, completely burning out the grass. I called the office; they said they'd have someone come and check--but they never did. We're switching for 2010.

They spray chemicals to control weed. They also use fertilizers for our lawn.

Very satisfied and the company very professional. Already noticing an improvement in my lawn.
