DaVinci Painting

Joel was great! He not only gave us the best price of 6 painters we got quotes from, but he was very responsive to all the questions we had. He didn't try to sell us on more work than was needed (some other companies insisted we needed all the ceilings painted too). Joel was also very helpful in getting the paint colors we wanted. We found our colors from ACE and just emailed him our choices. He went to ACE himself and then to Sherwin Williams to have them matched (some other companies wanted us to go to Sherwin Williams ourselves to submit the paint colors). Each day he arrived very promptly. He worked quickly and quietly (we hardly even knew he was there) and cleaned up at the end of each day. He also made sure the paint job looked perfect - it took a few more coats than expected (since some walls had never been painted before), and he only charged us a fraction of what the additional paint cost. We were so happy we went with DaVinci Painting and will definitely hire him again for future painting needs. We highly recommend!

It looks great! Joel did a wonderful job painting. He was easy to work with. He's done some painting for us previously so we knew we were in good hands. I may never paint again! It turned out beautifully!

Better than expected. Painting was perfect, and communication and timing was clear and regular. I will hire him again to paint our upstairs. I can't say enough good things about the quality of their work and professionalism.

I was very pleased with my experience with DaVinci Painting. I felt the quote was very thorough and reasonably priced. Joel was very easy to work with, kept us updated throughout the entire job, and was always prompt and courteous. The final job looks wonderful! We were covering up some very dark paint applied by a previous owner and couldn't be more pleased with the end result. Joel reallly knows his stuff! I would not hesitate to hire DaVinci again or recommend them to others.

DaVinci Painting is top notch and I would highly recommend them for any painting needs! They recently completed painting the entire interior of a condo for us and we are extremely happy with how it turned out. Joel is extremely professional, detail oriented and meticulous. He went above and beyond in making sure the job was done right and on time.

Joel was great to work with. He replied to my initial email quickly and came over to give us a quote. He was able to fit us in quickly after another project he was working on was delayed. It was less than a 1.5 day project and he did an awesome job. We recommended his painting service to our good friend and she will be using him as well.

Joel was great to work with from the beginning. He has a great eye and does an amazing job! He took his time in problem spots to ensure everything came out the way we wanted and we thoroughly appreciated it! His price was fair and was cheaper than if we did it ourselves. He knows how much paint to purchase for each room which prevents unexpected costs that we would run into if we did this ourselves. Joel was absolutely wonderful! The price quote was extremely reasonable for the awkward space. Joel was kind, extremely considerate, professional and did a great job. He was very respectful of my personal belongings, and cleaned up every day after he finished. He even vacuumed! He caulked around my sinks and shower/tub. The paint job was excellent! I would strongly recommend DaVinci Painting and I plan to use his services again.

I began this project by calling 3 A-rated painting contractors from Angie's List. One of the contractors never bothered to call me back. A larger paint company called back right away, came out, and gave a very expensive quote. Joel from DaVinci Painting also called back right away, and after playing phone tag a few times, was able to connect with me and come out to give me a quote. Joel's quote was much more reasonable than the larger painting company and he was just as prompt and professional as they had been, so we decided to go with him. We were extremely pleased with the entire process. Before the project started, Joel worked with us and was very responsive over email to make sure that we were getting exactly what we wanted. He even drove a sample of the trim paint he was going to use over to our house to make sure it matched with trim paint I had already used upstairs. He was able to start our project in the time-frame that we needed and finished on the day promised. He arrived at the job on time every day and let me know what he was going to be working on that day. We were able to leave our dog outside and Joel let him in the house before he left. When he left for the day, he sent an email updating me on what he had done, and sometimes what the dog had been up to that day as well : ) He left his equipment neatly in a corner, as unobtrusively as possible, and it appeared that he even vacuumed the floor on some days. It was exciting to come home everyday to see the progress. Joel would go through what he had done and made sure I was completely happy with the results, applying more coats of paint where needed. He finished our large project in 9 days and it looks fantastic! It looks like a new house and I couldn't be happier. We will definitely be hiring Joel again in the future for other projects we have in mind and I highly recommend him to anyone needing painting done.

A quality job done by a professional interior painter. Joel rose to the challenge of painting my solar envelope home which required painting around many windows. Furnishings only had to be moved approximately 3 ft. away from the walls.Several areas had to have a second coat because the walls were last painted 30 years ago. He completed the job within his time estimate.

I was extremely happy with the work Joel did and will be using him for the rest of my interior painting. I needed some work completed immediately and he was able to fit me into his schedule. He is reliable and prompt in his response to emails and questions. He really did an outstanding job and I would highly recommend him to others!

The bedrooms were dark in color and we wanted to lighten them up including the ceilings. Joel painted the walls a light gray color and the ceilings white. He did the same for the stairwell. It made such an amazing difference and looks great. He said the job would take 3-5 days and he was done in three. Joel went over all the nail and anchor holes and repaired them perfectly prior to painting, he even repaired some areas we damaged after removing old baseboard registers. We had a 12x12 area on our kitchen wall where the old phone use to hang and we tried to repair it ourselves, well we had Joel redo this work for us because we did an awful job. He repaired this and a couple of other areas and you would never know there were problems, he did a great job. Joel came into the house each day and was very organized and had a plan each day. He cleaned everything up each day and even put up with our Spaniel "Chance" while working. We felt very comfortable having him in our home. Joel is highly professional. He was prompt everyday, courteous and did a nice job on some tricky areas. When I found a few areas for touch up, he came out the next day. We had a very good experience with him.

Joel put us in touch with Tarry who removed some very old wallpaper in all three rooms. Joel then did all necessary drywall repair and painted the ceilings and walls of all three rooms. Finally, Becki did faux painting of all the walls. We told her generally what we might like in a meeting beforehand. She then paimted sample boards of what she would do and we made some color changes. We are incredibly pleased with how everything turned out- just absolutely beautiful!! All three communicated well with us, arrived at the agreed upon dates and times, cleaned up after themselves very well, and were a pleasure to work with. Very professional, just a great group of people. And we have three unique finishes! The $$ quoted above were for the two painters. The wallpaper removal was approx. $600.

Joel was wonderful to work with in every way. He did a super job on the walls and trim in the large bedroom and small hallway. His responsiveness and communication was very impressive, which I sincerely appreciate. I am "wowed" by the trim work and the doors that he painted. I've never seen such a perfect job on 6 panel doors. I think Joel is the best painter I've worked with and I would highly recommend him. He even brought two large UPS boxes inside from the front porch for me while I was at work. If that isn't great service...! Joel arrived exactly when he said he would each day and he even emailed me an update in the afternoon. He kept the work area very clean and orderly. He let me know beforehand what the cost of a possible 2nd coat paint might be. All in all, I would highly recommend DaVinci Painting on all points and will certainly use Joel again in the future.

Joel is our go-to guy for interior paintings. This is our second time working with Joel. He is a true professional, hard working and honest. He did an awesome job painting our living room, kitchen, hallways and foyer areas. He was prompt at getting a quote to us as well as easy to get a hold of. Joel is very neat, tidy and respectful. He is open to ideas and is able to make suggestions. We are very pleased with the work he did for us and plan on using him in the near future.

Joel was very punctual as well as providing a detailed estimate. He returned any messages I sent promptly. The work was done rapidly and neatly which is a winning combination. He needed less than a morning to do work that would have taken me at least a week!

This is the second time that we have used Joel for painting (for 2 homes) and we have been pleased both times! He basically did a whole house interior paint job by himself in 10 days. He started early and worked efficiently each day. He cleaned things up afterwards and the results are great! He was easy to reach via e-mail and phone.

Joel painted my entire first floor and my daughter's bedroom in 8 days by himself. I was very impressed with how quickly he worked. He showed up on time every day and was very pleasant to work with. I even had him repaint my powder room because I did not like the original color I chose.

Really great painter who completed everything we asked for and added additional space in the same timeframe. Very professional, using quality paints. Uses indoor shoes to keep from tracking anything into the house. Perfect for us as he started early and finished early to give us time to do other things in the house later in the afternoon. Works with your schedule and very attentive to any feedback. Recommend being clear about amount of any prep work needed, as we weren't as prepared i some rooms as we could have been. Joel worked with us and still completed everything on time.

much of painting was due to some cosmetic dry wall that was done. paint was a neutral light color thru out the house. In kitchen 1st coat of paint on when I noticed a total of about a 1/2 of wall that needed some spackling done to try and smooth out some issue. I applied product a bit too thick so Joel brought a sander and sanded it down and then applied a 2nd coat of paint. He then advised me on a better spackling product for any future needs which I very much appreciated. I appreciated his additional work on this area. A dining room wall required 3 coats due to a persistent shadow ( wall issue , not a paint issue) which was nicely resolved. Joel noticed the persistent flaw and worked hard to make it as diminished as possible. 1 bedroom with very bright primary colors of blue and purple needed primed before painting. A 2nd bedroom needed 3 wall painted as a reddish accent wall was kept. Did not have left over red paint and did not remember color but did not need it . lines meeting red wall were done very nice. Early in process asked if a 3rd bedroom could be added to project and Joel agreed. crown molding needed painted to as old paint splatters from a previous paint job done by me was an issue. Looks 100 % better. Joel was easy to communicate with, answering all my questions. easy going, gave me choice of an earlier start time which worked well for me. Also left me the left over paint in a can for touch ups. would definitely have Joel bid on any future project.

Joel was terrific, a real pro and a pleasure to work with. He was prompt and professional every step of the way. He repaired some water damage that needed to be fixed before painting and did a great job. The quality of his work is top-notch; the freshly painted rooms look great. We would definitely hire him again for any painting needs, and recommend him without hesitation.

Joel was very curtious and lived up to all of our expectations (including some extra help) at no additional cost. We will use him in the future.
