+ 0 moreI thought the work was very sloppy. He was rated an 'A', and as far as I'm concerned he should be rated a 'D' or an 'F'. When he cut off the boards, he didn't even cut a straight line with the saw. He was going to fill it in with putty or caulking, and I had to tell him to recut it. It looked bad because it was running on an angle. He thanked me for telling him that. To top it all off, he wrote up a bill and charged me for a whole saw. Why am I paying for his equipment? When he cut in the deadbolts, he didn't bother cleaning up after himself. We ended up cleaning up the mess.
Description of Work: He was supposed to replace some rotten boards on my front porch and install two regular and deadbolt locks.

+ 0 moreHe was supposed to be out Wednesday at 4, and he did not show up. I called and left him a message, and he didn't return the call until Friday. He said he wasn't feeling well, and wanted me to call him back on Sunday. I didn't call him back, and he called me again on Monday. I just told him I had found someone else.
Description of Work: He was supposed to come out and give me an estimate to build a railing.

+ -1 moreDAVE LANG WAS VERY PATIENT IN DEALING WITH PROPERTY IN WHICH THE RESIDENTS WERE BEING EVICTED. HE SECURED THE DOOR AFTER IT HAD BEEN BROKEN TWICE. HE THEN CAME AND FRAMED THE DOOR AND HUNG IT AFTER THEY WERE EVICTED. HE IS VERY EASY TO WORK WITH AND IS WILLING TO TAKE ON A MAJOR RENOVATION PROJECT AFTER THE HOUSE IS GUTTED.
Description of Work: SECURED AND RE-FRAMED AN EXTREMELY LARGE FRONT STEEL DOOR. HE ALSO RE-HUNG IT.
