Dave's Appliance Service

Dave came out on a diagnostic call per scheduled appointment. He tested the control panel on our dishwasher and determined it needed to be replaced. We were given a follow up phone call regarding the part, cost and date for installation. The service was completed as scheduled.

Everything went really well! He was very efficient. I was very pleased!

He was there very briefly. He also said that when we went shopping for a refrigerator he would advise us to take a measuring tape along and make sure we have enough clearance. I thought he could have been more helpful. That figure was average. He didn't do any work on it, he pulled it out and looked. He was very quick, in and out. They came when they said they would. They were on time.

Terrible. He was rude and sarcastic, gave my warranty company a hard time and was very unprofessional. When I called his office to discuss my concerns she immediately started making excuses that his behavior was justified because they're too busy to deal with home warranty (he never had to wait as they answered before he was even finished so it never inconvenienced him) she tried to say they don't even take customers that use home warranty, which isn't true because I specifically told them we were using home warranty when I placed the appointment and they gave me instruction on what I'd have to do. She placed me on hold 4 times during our call because other customers were more important. I literally would rather have a broken freezer than ever hire them for anything.

It went very smoothly. He knew exactly what to do and recommended not trying to clean the drain pan itself. Since the refrigerator is 45 yrs old, you can't get parts for it. So he advised leaving the rest alone. Very pleased with their communications and service.

They did an excellent job. The repairmen actually had the correct part. In has truck and replaced the bad element on the spot.

It turned out really well. They're very professional and got the job done quickly in a time frame. The good thing was he was able to call half an hour before he's going to come. He stood there for four hours waiting for somebody.

I had a 13-year old squeaky dryer. He quickly took apart the unit and found the front seal was almost gone and the primary ball bearing needed some grease. He replaced the seal, cleaned out the unit and applied the grease. He was done in about 40 minutes.

Showed up on schedule, worked quickly to find problem, had replacement part in truck.

Everything thing went very smoothly. I received a call when he was on his way. He had the replacement part. He had to take apart portions of the freezer to defrost sections of it, and move the entire until unit to replace the part. He was very professional, personable and knowledgeable.

Well I just wanted to say that I wasn't impressed by my first impression. I contacted the company via the internet because I am on the phone a lot at work and I really appreciate companies who give us the opportunity to communicate and/or schedule via email or messages. The first thing they did was tell me to CALL them. If I had time to call I would have!! I hate when companies do that. They are obviously reading their messages because they were able to respond promptly...so why not schedule or give other info via message too? Then she got annoyed when I asked if Monday was the earliest they had...it's Wednesday, so that is pretty far away. So will I use them in the future? You should provide a 'not sure' option.

He was very nice, prompt, efficient and the dishwasher is working great. He was able to come out the day after I called him. I was very pleased with the service and will use him again.

On time, explained the repair and the cost. He did a great job!!!!

The service tech was punctual, friendly, knowledgable, and took care of the problem. But the price was outrageous! He was probably in and out in 15 minutes -- 20 minutes tops, and the total labor charges were $106. That was broken down into a $40 trip fee (fair enough), and a $66 labor charge for the repair. Supposing the whole time at my house was 20 minutes, that's an hourly labor rate of $198. About twice as expensive as the hourly rate of good mechanic! I won't be calling Dave's Appliance again.

He explained what needed to be done and he did it efficiently and quickly. My dryer now is as good as it was when I purchaded it over 18 years ago.

Scott determined that the bearings were beginning to go and it would not be worth the cost of repairing it so I just paid his diagnostic fee. I appreciated his honesty.

He showed up promptly and basically told us that they were unable to fix it. It was beyond repair. But he was prompt about it and he came quickly and told us that. So it was good. He was very professional and courteous and told us right away. So he didn't waste our time and his. It was good. I'd use him again if I had something go wrong. He charged us $75 or $80.

This was the second time we used them. They did a very nice job. We had some issues with the ice maker and what have you. The fan was rattling and all kinds of stuff, things that I don't necessarily know about. I'm pretty good, pretty handy myself, but I don't know about refrigerators with that kind of detail. So he came in and took care of it. It was very well done. He was very professional and on time. That was the second time he was there. I would use that person again, absolutely. They're good. They're really good. Everything is fine and everything is working. Their responsiveness is very good. In fact, I called them over the weekend and they got in there.

Terrific! Lisa was incredibly helpful from the moment she answered my phone call. She addressed all of my concerns, and very promptly scheduled my service. If you need any appliance repair done, don't hesitate to call Dave's Appliance!

We contacted Dave's Appliance on a Saturday and Lisa replied to my inquiry within an hour or two with a price quote, etc. She was very accommodating in working with us to schedule the service at our convenience and kept us apprised of their schedule and availability. Dave was on-time, professional, and efficient in completing the installation. We had contacted another provider first (whom we didn't hire) and the difference in responsiveness and professionalism was night and day between that provider and Dave's Appliance Service. We'll definitely use Dave's again. Thank you!

The service technician started by assessing the problem with the oven and found he needed to order a part. The he went to put a new agitator bar in the washer. Lisa called within an hour to schedule the follow up appointment to put in the new oven fan. I love how quickly they order the needed parts and set up those follow-ups! In the mean time, our refrigerator stopped cooling. So when the technician came to repair the oven, he assessed that and thought a replacement circuit board would do the trick. So once again, they ordered the part and made a follow-up. Then I used the oven and it started making a grinding noise again. So when he returned to fix the fridge, he looked at the oven and the blade from a different fan had fallen off and just needed to be reattached. And then the washing machine started giving us an error message. The soap dispenser was not working, and the mating would just stop. Well, the technician assessed that problem and they ordered the part. The the circuit board that was ordered for the fridge was installed, but there was another board that was also not working, so they had to order the part. Parts, parts, parts! When they all came in, they were installed and everything works now!

Scott showed up on time and quickly went to work. Part needed is obsolete so dishwasher could not be fixed. Very quick diagnosis. Will use again.

The process was seamless. The repair person, Scott, came out and assessed the problem the next day. They ordered the part and installed immediately upon receipt of the part. We were impressed with their knowledge and professionalism. Would highly recommend to others.

Scott was great and very knowledgeable. He did not try to talk me into fixing a second motherboard on a 12 year old refrigerator. He was very professional.
