Service was excellent! I was so pleased at how quickly the problem was diagnosed and that the dryer could still be repaired. It is a 35 year old Maytag that will now be useful for many years to come.

They came out and ran a diagnostic on my refrigerator to see why it was running all the time. It was leaking freon. He didn't try to sell me, was up front and honest and told me I needed a new refrigerator. He was right on time, and called before he came. One person, professional all the way through, I was very happy with them.

Showed up on time and identified the faulty part. Ordered a new sensor and replaced when the part arrived.

Good work if you can get it ,15 min easy repair using inferior generic parts billed at around 680 dollars an hour or if I am being generous 340 dollars an hour.

They found a wire that had worn and blew the main circuit board. Very responsive and fixed within4 days. They had to get a part.Yeah! The only issue was that there were no afternoon appointments but I was able to work around that. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to friends. Good experience.

The job went perfectly. Initial email was answered quickly, they called when he was on the way, the service was professional, and the job was completed for less than the quote.

I was able to get an appointment the day after I called at a time convenient for me. Scott arrived on time, determined quickly what part needed to be replaced and better yet - had the part needed in his truck. He tested the repair to make sure that there was no underlying issue that would cause the new part to fail. Pricing was more than fair. I intend to hire them again and I would recommend this company to anyone looking for professional, reasonable appliance repair.

OK - Repairman showed up at the early part of the time window the company provided and the company dispatcher called prior to the repairman arriving, adding that if I was not prepared, she would have to send the repairman to another job and have him return later (of course I was "prepared" - I had taken the day off from work to accommodate their repairman's availability). I had used the "contact us" feature on company's web-site to send a detailed description of the problem and the steps that I had already taken toward the repair. The repairman poked around and confirmed that there was no continuity for two of the four wires that run between freezer's control board and the door control (something I had already tested and knew). While I thought there might be a way for him to replace the wiring harness in the door, that was not the case - he said that he would have the staff at the company look into whether there was a replacement part available and have someone call me; he was in and out in about 20 minutes. The following day was Thanksgiving and when I had not received a follow-up call by the end of the day on the following Friday, I decided to fix the problem myself. The task involved removing and disassembling the door, cutting out a 4" x 6" piece of insulation near the lower door hinge to access the wiring, cutting out the damaged section of the wiring and soldering new wires in place, and then refilling the insulation holes with spray foam. I added some additional shielding around the new wires to keep them from being crimped by the hinge in the future (that was the cause of the problem - the original routing of the wires is poorly designed). I reconnected the wiring clips, confirmed that all wires had continuity, and plugged the freezer back in. It now functions properly, cycling on and off to maintain the correct specified temperature. On the following Monday, I called the company to let them know that I had fixed the problem myself and did not need any additional follow-up. The woman who answered the phone said that she was planning to call me, but said that the only way to repair the unit was to replace the entire door, which she said would have cost as much as a new freezer. In the end, I paid $65.41 for the repairman's house call. One thing that you should note is that the company offers a $10.00 coupon on its web-site - but that coupon applies "to repair services only" which they interpret to mean services performed only after their repairman diagnoses an issue - not the house call. Apparently, the management thinks that it is clear to everyone that there are two distinct parts to their services: a house call to determine what the problem is and a separate repair charge to actually fix the problem. If they can't fix your issue, the coupon has no value. Overall, I would rate my experience with the company as satisfactory, but not exceptional.

He ordered the part and put it in a couple of days after the initial assessment.

Technician arrived on time( 4 hour window). He diagnosed the problem(blocked drain) quickly, removed the ice and cleared the drain, No complaint on the service aspect of the call. Angies list advertises a diagnostic service call of $65.00 for 50.00. Actually their minimum service call is $105.00 of which 39.95 is a travel expense. No parts were used. Dave's base is 7 miles from my house and I feel 39.95 is an excessive travel expense. I feel I was mislead by the advertisement whic stated the cost of the diagnostic service call was $65.00 when actually it was $105.00.

My washer was not completing the spin cycle and I would have soaking wet clothes. We called and he came out on time on the day scheduled. My receipt says. " complete diagnostic test Everything checks good. Possible problem with main control" A few days later it was laundry day. Everything is NOT good. I still have soaking clothes and am now out $62.00 …for what? He drove 20min and plugged something in and pushed a reset button? So the receipt says all service guaranteed 30 days. I called asking if I could have some of the money back. The woman was pretty jumpy with me and I am definitely getting no money back. I need a new main control which is the price of a new basic machine. It stinks to pay $62 and have nothing actually fixed, even temporarily. Wouldn't the diagnostic test be guaranteed? That was $22 of my bill, the other $39 was the trip charge.

He was so kind and professional. We had to order a part and when it was in, he came back and fixed it. I loved the call ahead to let me know when he was on his way. I will definitely recommend them to others!

I was very impressed with the professionalism my request was handled. I found out today in the morning that our very old (probably 19 yo - we got it with the house) dishwasher was not working. So I just sent messages through the web-site to schedule appointments with couple companies. "Dave's" was the first one who gave me a call back, and right now it is 7.15 am. The lady on the phone checked right away while still on the phone - if they would be able to get parts. And after that she gave me an advice to get the new dishwasher, as it would be either impossible or very expensive to get parts for the dishwasher as it was an old model. I'm happy that I didn't need to waste time or money. Thank you!

We actually had 2 visits. The first he quickly identified that a part for the ignition of the oven was failing, and showed me what he was seeing. He replaced the part and the stove worked perfectly the next time it was used, which it hadn't been doing for a couple of months. Unfortunately the stove/ oven went completely dead the next time it was used. I called Dave's again and explained what happened. He came out again and quickly found the melted connector for the electrical cord. This problem was unrelated to the first, and I found out later my wife had thought she smelled plastic burning when she used the oven. He explained everything during both visits and took care of the items right away. I really appreciated his ability to identify the problems quickly and fix them on the spot.
