Description of Work: The dryer needed a fuse replaced. This is the second time I have used him and I am very happy with his service. Both times he had the part I needed and we did not need to schedule him to come back to finish the service.

Description of Work: I discovered late on a Friday night that my refrigerator had stopped working. I left messages at 3 different appliance repair places from Angie's list. Dave's was the first to call me back at 7:00 AM on Saturday morning; Dave was at my house shortly after 8:00 AM and by 9:00 AM my refrigerator was running again. He replaced some kind of control panel thing. Dave was great - friendly and professional. I highly recommend him for any appliance repair job.

They showed up when they said they would....they ordered the parts and returned to install them as discussed. The price was determined and agreed upon in advance and everything went as promised. Would definitely use them again and highly recommend this company.

Description of Work: The service technician came at the time scheduled after calling in advance that he was on his way. Our electric range and refrigerator needed attention. | |He tested the oven temp/setting and made an adjustment to correct the problem. | |The water supply to the frig's icemaker was turned off about six month's ago when we discovered water on the kitchen floor and in the basement near the frig area. When he came, we turned the water on again and tried to find the leak but it wasn't leaking. He said to observe the leak area and that he would return if the leak started again. We checked the next morning and found water again. He came back the next day, found a crack in the hose on the refrigerator and replaced. He did not charge anything for the second trip or material or labor.

Description of Work: As luck would have it, I needed both a Bosch DW and a Whirlpool washer fixed at the same time. Finding a company that could service both proved to be a challenge. The trip charge was very reasonable and Scott was honest, telling me he couldn't find anything mechanically wrong with my washer. Turned out a small piece if plastic was tearing my clothes. He found it and now our clothes aren't being shredded. Another company, without seeing the machine, tried to convince me I needed a new $200+ boot! Scott ordered the part for my DW and came back a week later when it came in. He arrived early and had it installed within about 15 minutes! Honest, reliable, reasonably priced service. If anything else breaks, Dave's is the company I will call.

Description of Work: We live in Menomonee Falls (where Dave's is located). Our refrigerator/freezer had stopped cooling properly and was making a loud noise. I called and was told by the receptionist that someone would be able to get to my home within about twenty minutes. (This short amount of time is probably not typical, but he happened to be returning to Menomonee Falls between jobs.) Once the problem was diagnosed, the repair person just needed to pick up a part, which took no longer than maybe twenty or thirty minutes. The part was replaced and the refrigerator was up and running in no time. I was very pleased with the prompt and professional service and would certainly do business with Dave's again.

Description of Work: Our stove was periodically tripping the breaker when using the oven and more than one burner. The service tech was prompt and although he was not able to identify a problem with the stove he did locate an issue in our breaker panel. The breaker was faulty and was arcing inside the breaker box. We then called out an electrician and had the issue fixed. This could have prevented a house fire.
