Description of Work: Paul and Hank from Capital Heating cleaned and sanitized the air ducts throughout the house. Both gentlemen were courteous and knowledgeable. Pictures of before and after were provided and at the completion. The owner Jason was very reasonable in his pricing. The house was larger than what the offer called for and Jason only charged a very nominal fee for the extra work which resulted in my decision to have the service performed.

Description of Work: Capital Heating cleaned and sanitized my air ducts throughout the entire house. My house was larger than the offer price and Jason the owner was willing to have his company perform the service for a nominal add'l charge. They did a very thorough job and provided me with before and after pictures. Paul and Hank clearly made sure the service met high quality and that the customer was satisfied. In addition, they identified an air vent that was not completely finished and made the repair. I was very happy with the service and could definitely notice a difference in the quality of the air after the air ducts were cleaned by Capital Heating.

Description of Work: Installed a whole house humidifier. They were on time, the installation went without difficulty. They were polite and professional.

Description of Work: I had to call them due to the furnace going out in the middle of the snowstorm. The technician came in 2 hours and diagnosed the issue. Since my furnace was over 30 years old and very expensive to fix, I opted for a new furnace. As a courtesy, Capital Heating brought 3 space heaters to keep me warm overnight. The next day they installed a new furnace. So far, I am very happy with their professionalism and responsiveness.

Description of Work: I have used this company three times. Two times went very well. One time did not go very well. It depends on which tech you get. If you get the right one, things go very well. Otherwise, watch out, you might have to watch them very closely to be sure they do what they should.

Description of Work: We puchased an Aprilaire humidifier as an Angies Big Deal. The installer was in fact a little early. He was professional, however, he seemed to have an agenda to sell more services. The humidifier seems to be working, so at this point I'm satisfied. My one complaint is that the contact for the appointment was done on line, and there was no mention about how much area was needed to do the work. I had to move a lot of stuff very quickly. I think this company is all about getting business and they could do better by being more personal with customers. That would get them more business.

Description of Work: On the day of the first scheduled appointment, they called to inform me that due to inclimate weather that they were busy with emergency calls and had to reschedule. I appreciated the fact that they understood the inconvenience and rescheduled as quickly as possible and came a week later. When they arrived, they were nothing but professional and quick. Once he was done, he explained the entire unit to me, as well as the proper maintenance. I will definitely use this company for any future services.

Description of Work: Capital Heating did a furnace cleaning/checkup. They were through and suggested other services that were needed to be done (duct cleaning). They honored their coupon discount and an Angie's List special offer. I would recommend them for furnace or AC service.

Description of Work: They installed a whole-home humidifier. The unit was installed quickly and good quality. The unit is working great and they even integrated the whole-home humidifier with a Nest thermostat.

Description of Work: He was respectful and put on booties as to not dirty our hard wood floors, and did not push additional products. Cleaned any and all debris up and provided us with warranty information. I will definitely call Capitol Heating when our furnace or any furnace related issues come in the near future.

These guys were COMPLETELY EXCELLENT! | |The work to be performed was the installation of a Rheem 92% efficient furnace through an Angie's list deal for $1995. I needed additinal venting which increased the final price up to about $2250. | |The installers arrived on time and provided a courtesy call when they were on their way. | |The installers had a brief discussion with me and asked if I wanted to keep my media air filter. I was unsure of the difference, so I asked them what is better. They said that the media filter was definitely the better choice and that they could easily adapt the furnace I purchased to accommodate the media air filer. | |I mentioned to me that I had contracted another company to steam clean the duct work and the 3rd party's work sis not include cleaning the AC coil. I asked the installers if they would be willing to complete the coil cleaning and they said that it is a normal part of their process. I also explained to them I was concerned that much of the plenum containing the AC coil would need to be replaced due to a series of unfortunate plumbing events that effected the area near the furnace. | |Midway through the morning, the installers asked if they could show me something. They showed me the AC coil. It was nearly spotless! The installers said that was primarily due to the media air filter installed on the furnace. And also showed me that any plumbing issues only lead to discoloration on the outside of the plenum and that the steel was still in good condition. | |When the installers called me down for a final inspection, I was completely flabbergasted. Not only had they done a wonderful and professional job with the installation of the furnace, the new air intake and the condensation drainage line; they SWEPT THE ENTIRE FLOOR AND STAIRWAY out of the basement! I was completely speechless. | |These gentlemen and this company take GREAT pride in their work. I've tried to tell as many people as I can about this great company. If you are in the market for any HVAC work, I highly recommend them.

Description of Work: Boiler maintanence. I thought I had a furnance but thought I had a furnance so the provider used the amount that I got through Angies List & charged the rest

Description of Work: We had both a two stage furnace and new AC installed. 18 months of 0% financing was also offered - they put it in the day after signing on - which was just as the freezing temps hit. I am still waiting for my signed copy of the contracts and evidence of registration for warranties.

Description of Work: The technician installed whole-house dehumidifier. He was punctual, polite and very informative. He explained the operational functions of the unit and answered the questions that I had. I would call on Capital Heating & Cooling again if I needed additional service.
