+ 0 moreIn my experience it was not good, because they did a whole bunch of windows in my house, and I had the whole exterior of the house done for about $214000, new roof, new windows, and the biggest problem was that the windows were not ready when they were supposed to be, and it was a big nightmare for me to stay on these guys and get the windows here. It was 2 or 3 deadlines later that they got the windows here. They put the windows in, and the most important windows on the front of the house, had a major issues, in the fact that whenever it would get cold, they would look like oil was spilling on your windows. This went on, and got worse as it got colder. They decided after a few years, that I had a good point, and that they have never seen anything like that with the windows, and they sent their main representatives from the company, and they said it was me, and I said that I hadn't done anything, and he finally agreed, and replaced them for me, but it was the biggest nightmare.
Description of Work: My experience with them has been quite extensive.

+ -1 moreIt went terrible. I get to look forward to standing in my yard for 2 days this summer and watch my windows get torn out and replaced for a 3rd time after paying over 20k for the trouble. (WEATHER SHIELD WINDOWS) DONT DO IT.
Description of Work: In 2009 I had a reputable contactor install (Weather Shield Windows) on my residence in Brookfield,Wi.I paid over $20,000.00 for the windows all across the front of my large ranch and on one side.These windows made by Weather Shield out of Medford,Wi came highly recommended as being fully extruded etc etc.My wife and I were upset when all the windows were defective as they would develop an oily pattern on the glass at temperatures of about 40 degrees and lower..Representatives from Weather Shield came to access the problem and decided to replace them all which they did when the weather warmed up in may of 2010..only to have the same haunted oily feature appear the next fall around halloween how fitting.now for the second winter in a row my expensive windows look terrible in and out and from the street anytime it below 40 degrees..it is march 1st 2011 and weather shield has not agreed to refund my money...they have not agreed to reinstall new windows yet only are "trying to figure out whats causing it" for the 2nd time.
