Description of Work: Identify reason for drain line clog that led to slight overflow in basement. Once problem identified, solve using rotor. Clog ended up being due to tree roots which the technician cut and removed.

Description of Work: I had a water main back-up into my carpeted basement-level family room. They cleaned and sanitized all of the surfaces and took the area rugs to their site for cleaning. They will return to pick up the dryer/fans tomorrow.

Description of Work: I have had two plumbers out to my house in the past two years to clear a sewer line between the house and the street. The last time the plumber was here he told me to call roto rooter next time because they had "better auger bits". I had the same problem this week and called roto rooter - as I had been instructed. I was not disappointed. The employee Jeremy was very friendly and professional. He took care of my problem in 45 minutes and explained what he was doing from start to finish. I have no reason not to believe this problem is fixed for a long time. The price was also right. They charged $129. I looked back and the last plumber charged $174. One small complaint. They could have communicated the arrival time a little better. I called the day before and did not hear back until late in the day yesterday that the service would not be provided until today. Heard about an hour before the employee arrived on the day of the service. Don't want to make a big deal about this. I was very happy with the service they provided. In short. Don't just call any plumber if you have this problem. This is what roto rooter does and they do it well for a good price.

Description of Work: Kitchen sink and dishwasher drain plugged under the basement floor. The tech arrived promptly, brought in the necessary tools and equipment and determined the best strategy to get at the problem. The problem was stubborn but he assured me he could work it out and he did. The tech was pleasant, professional and thorough. He cleaned up after the problem was fixed and left me with a feeling of a job well done.

Description of Work: We have Roto Rooter do maintenance on our sewer line every 2 years. They send us a reminder postcard and give us a small discount for being on the regular maintenance list. We've lived in our house for 25 years and ever since we bought the house we've had problems with tree roots blocking our sewer line. We've used Roto Rooter for more than 10 years now and have never had a back-up during this time. They know what they're doing! The regular maintenance makes all the difference.
