Description of Work: I made the terrible mistake of hiring Naturescape (Madison) to aerate my lawn. I specifically asked them not to do the aeration whilst the lawn was soaking wet. I get home from work today to find they have utterly destroyed my front and back lawn after aerating it straight after two solid days of rain. It’s going to take a couple of years to fix the mess they created. Oh, and no one picks up the phone - hopeless!

 + -1 moreThey come five times a year to lay down fertilizer and weed killer. If you are not satisfied they will come back and redo the work. I have used them for many years and I am very pleased with their work. They always show up on time and will let you know that they are there and give you a list of work that they finished that day.

 + -1 moreWhen we actually received rain (we're currently in a drought), they gave me good results and if we have a problem they would come back out and address it free of charge. Since switching to them from trying to treat my lawn myself, we've definitely seen good improvement, particularly in the area of weed control.
Description of Work: We use Naturescape Lawn And Landscape Care for lawn fertilization, weed control, and core aeration. We have an annual contract with them and have used them for 2 years at the time of this review.

 + 1 moreI liked the weed control services that they provided because they were prompt. I felt I got a good value. What I didn't like about the lawn mowing service was that they were not prompt and did not do a good job. I liked one part of their service and didn't like the other part and that's why I don't have them now. I would not use them in the future.
Description of Work: I used Naturescape Lawn and Landscape Care four years ago. They did lawn cutting and weed eradication. I have used them for three years.

 + -1 moreGood company to deal with. Does not harass you with phone calls for additional work. They mail out offers and offer prepaid services. We have had them for about three years and are please with the work done. The lawn looks better than it did when the previous service was doing the work.
Description of Work: Company does feed and weed control on property. When requested they also aerate lawn.

 + 1 moreI am satisfied with their work, they took a little long to come out I felt but other than that all went well. I am going to have them do snow removal this winter if we get a lot. They will be coming next year to do yard work as well.
Description of Work: Naturescape came out in November and did some lawn maintenance for me. They did work on my trees and bushes along with aerating my lawn.

 + -1 moreash my dogs feet and then I called them.
Description of Work: I had Naturescapes for the summer,I signed on for 5 treatments and the lawn was looking much better. On the fourth treatment they did it in the rain, it wasn't until after I let my dog out that I saw I signs about keeping children and pets off until grass is dry. I was pretty upset. Why would they do this in the rain ? I had to wash my dogs feet and then I called them. They were very unprofessional, basically arguing with me. I needed to understand that "sometimes they had to do this." They didn't seem to care about the safety issues at all. They put the signs up because it's a state law. I said you put the sign up because until it's dry it can get absorbed into my dog's system. They truely did not seem to understand that. It was pretty scary that they were out spreading chemicals they didn't realize could be dangerous. I cancelled my contract and will not be dealing with them again

 + -1 moreThey sprayed my yard when it was raining. They said that if the weeds come up they will come back. But you shouldn't be spraying fertilizer when it rains. They didn't care so much and they said that had to get it done. Their price was just a little above average.

 + -1 moreMy experience with Naturescape Company was good. I've been using them for two years and they are pretty good at what they do. They do what they say they are going to do. It's a good price. The work they do is worth it. They applied the fertilizer at the right time and made my lawn look green. I would use them again in the future.
Description of Work: I last used Naturescape Company about three weeks ago for lawn fertilization. They also applied weed killer. They charged me $169 for five treatments a year.

 + -1 moreBasically they do a good job. The weeds are well controlled and they seem to have good granular products. I don't like the spray products so they use the granular. The lawn does look pretty good. I wouldn't say it is outstanding but I would recommend people to give them a try. We've used them for a couple of years. They seem to be very responsive. They will give you a call before they come if you want and they will schedule at a different time if you want. They were very competitive so I would give them a recommendation. We used them this season and they have one application left to put on. They usually have a 5-step program but they were willing to do only 4 for me.

 + 0 moreI would probably be a little negative about them. To begin with, the yard was not in great shape and so they had to work it out, but their results were so-so. They would not let us know in advance when they were coming out. Sometimes I would be about to cut the grass and they would show up. Moreover, we have a dog, and I would have preferred to put the dog someplace else before they came and did a chemical treatment - that was impossible. The price was fine. I would not use them in the future.
Description of Work: Basically, we used Naturescape for general lawn care. They did treatment for weeds and used fertilizer.

 + 0 moreI am on the yearly call list, and they do contact me in Feb or Mar, I usually procrastinate and miss the first treatment, however I get the rest of the lawn treatments. I have used them for the past 6 years and my lawn is in very good condition. As, I am very busy, they come and do what ever treatment needs to be done, leave me a report as to what they did and why, and mark the grass that it has been done. I am very pleased with the service.
Description of Work: I have the yearly service, for weed control and fertilizer. I usually sign up to late to get the first treatment of the year in, due to my procrastination, but I get the rest of the year tx. The always let me know when they come and leave a detailed report as to what service they provide. My lawn looks great, this can be a problem because I live across the street from an aboretum that is full of weeds.

 + 0 moreI stopped using them because I decided to fertilize myself for a couple of years. In the world of lawn care they were certainly not the most expensive. They were probably toward the middle of the lower end of cost. But even at that I decided to just do it myself a couple of years. I was pretty satisfied with their work. I think they did a pretty good job. I am not using them now, but I would consider using them again.
Description of Work: I used Naturescape in 2008 for a 5-application process of fertilizer, weed control, and lawn care service from April through September.

 + 0 moreThey treat the lawn and leave a notice on the door describing the services performed with any special instructions e.g., how long to wait before watering. They also mow my lawn usually weekly. I do not have to call, it just gets done. The mowing price is very reasonable and they do a good job cleaning up after themselves (sidewalks and driveway.) If for some reason I don't want the lawn mowed I can call and cancel the mowing and not be charged. On one occasion I called because the cut grass was being blown onto the flower beds. It never happened again.
Description of Work: I purchase a 5 step lawn treatment (fertilize and weed control) from this company. The treatments begin in the spring and go through the fall. They also mow my lawn regularly throughout the season.

 + -1 moreWe have been using their services for a few years now. They were recommended to us by our neighbor. They will call a day or two before they come and tell us when they are coming and what application they will be putting on. They are very easy to work with and are very pleasant to talk to. There has been times when I have had questions for them and when I called they answered the questions and made sure any issue was taken care off. When they come out they will flag the lawn where they sprayed which lets us know where they were. Every time they are here they leave a note on the door and it states what they did when they were here. There is also a list of what products they used. There is also lawn care advise on it stating what to do for a healthy lawn.
