Julio and his team were prompt, polite and hard working. They quickly stripped off the old shingles, removed the upper chimney, and prepared the roof for new shingles. They cleaned up all the debris including using a magnet to assure no nails escaped. Julio worked with us to decide the best placement of the solar tubes. We were thrilled with the light the solar tubes provide and the new roof looks wonderful. We were very satisfied with the pricing too.

It went great. Julio and his crew were fantastic. They stayed late on a Friday night to finish up.

It was an absolute pleasure dealing with Julio and his staff. Julio responded promptly to all my e-mails and phone calls. Even better, for both the estimate and the replacement he showed up on the day he said he would at the time he said he would. He and his crew worked from the time they showed up until they left about 10 hours later. They took a well deserved lunch break but the rest of the time was all business. I'm very satisfied with the quality of the work and the clean up after the work was completed.

After getting quotes from 2 other roofers, I called Julio. He spent time explaining what needed to be done, how he was going to do it, and listened to all my questions. His bid was a little bit higher than the lowest bid, but the most important thing was how he relayed information to me in detail, with respect and professionalism. He came again to bring by samples. He even had me come to another site nearby where they were doing a flat roof so I could see how the work was being done. That was helpful to me. When the day was set to do the work, he and his crew came on time (7:30 a.m.) and worked diligently throughout the day until ~7:30 p.m. Julio and his crew were polite, answered my many questions, showed me how they were doing the work as it progressed, and cleaned up the yard afterward. They had to come back the next day to finished up the gutters and that was done in the same professional manner. We discussed using gutter guards and I wasn't sure they would be right for me. Julio offered to put some on the main house and flat roof gutter so I could see how they would work during a rain event. We had one rain event and after more questions and doing research on the gutter guards, I was able to make a decision. I will be having that work done in the very near future and will write a review on the gutter guards later. I can easily recommend Julio and his crew for anyone thinking of having this type of roofing/gutters done.

AMAZING! This project couldn't have went any better. First of all I contacted 5 different roofing companies to come out and look at the work to be done. These 5 were in addition to a few companies that were driving around and looking for work, as the home is in a neighborhood that was hit hard by hail in fall of 2016. In short I would say most of the 10 or so companies I spoke with were the same old story. One owner asking to see our insurance claim so he could maximize his profits and gather a check. Seriously I watched a few of these companies do other roofs in our neighborhood and the owner was almost never on the job, ever. They just show up to drop off a dumpster and come back to pay their employees and pick up the final check. Now, on to the important part of this review. Julio the owner, was at the job site from the day he gave us a quote until the last minute of the work. You can't ask for a more punctual crew that did an amazing job on the roof. Julio and his crew were there on time each day and worked until the job was done. I believe having Julio on site at all times makes the job more efficient and cuts back on cost as he was very competitive with the other bids we received. Upon completion he walked us through all the work that was done and then registered our roof/products with the manufactures to back up our warranty on the roof. I wouldn't expect most home owners to contact as many companies as we did, and quite honestly you shouldn't need to, but we did. Save yourself some time and give Julio a call. Julio and his crew were phenomenal, I couldn't have asked for a better team. Gesthemane was one of 4 bids I looked at, and not only was Julio's bid the lowest, but I also felt instantly comfortable with him as someone I would be working with on the project. We communicated via phone and email, and each time we had a meeting set, Julio was on time and ready to answer any question I had. Once the job actually started (rain kept pushing back the start date), Julio and his team were everything I could have hoped for: professional, timely, meticulous, and so much more. The job ran long for two reasons, neither Gethsemane's fault: 1. Once they tore off the back 1/2 of the roof on the house, it became obvious that all of the plywood decking would need to be removed and replaced. When they discovered this, Julio contacted me (I happened to be home), took me up to the roof and showed me the problem. He was apologetic, but it was not possible to know how bad the old wood was until the shingles were off. He followed up the bad news with, "I will give you a good price." 2. Weather probably delayed the completion by a full day and a half. The results are that the roof looks spectacular, with great attention to details. The addition of the new decking did add to the final bill, but Julio's invoice was itemized clearly, and yes, he did give us a great price. A new roof is costly, but if I had to do it again, I wouldn't bother with the other three bids. Even with the added cost of new plywood and all of its associated costs, the final bill was less than 2 of the other 3 bids I had been given.

Julio's original estimate was very reasonable and the extra work that needed to be added was done at a very good price. Before the work started Julio was very good about answering questions and communicating about a start date. His team was very hardworking and professional. When they were done they did a great job cleaning up the site and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. I would highly recommend Gethsemane for any roofing job.

I would highly recommend Gethsemane Roofing. Julio is a professional, he explains his services and the product he uses, is available to answer questions, returns calls and answers email. Gethsemane roofing prices are very competitive, this is a quality company. Julio works on the job with his roofing crew and his crew knows what it is doing. Gethsemane does a good job protecting landscaping and property around the roofing job. They do a very good job of clean up. Need roofing services, I give them an AAA+++.

Excellent job by Julio and his crew. Attention to detail was outstanding as was the workmanship. They arrived each day at 7:30am and worked until 7:30pm. The quality of the materials used exceeded my expectations and the clean up after the roof was complete was excellent. I highly recommend Gethsemane Roofing!

Julio is the owner of Gethsemane Roofing. He is sincere, honest and hard-working. He works right along with his crew. They were very clean and ever so careful to pick up nails. I still have not found one nail around the foundation. Julio gave us an accurate estimate of the amount of time the job would take. Gethsemane offers a high-quality shingle. Our roof has dimension and looks great. We entertained serveral bids and Gethesemane's bid was far more reasonable than other companies. Julio is a respectful, kind man who does quality work. It was a pleasure to do business with his company. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience. You can feel secure with this local business.

The job is not yet finished but what is looks nice. The ground around the house has been kept clean with no restrictions on use of the driveway. The front yard has been used as a staging area and it remains to be seen how it will be rehabilitated. The price for the job was very competitive and I will be interested in seeing the roof on final inspection

Julio and his team did an excellent job replacing our roof. He also identified and fixed some sections of the underlying roof. He and his team were diligent and worked long hours to complete the project. We would highly recommend this company and would definitely utilize again!

Julio and his crew were very professional. Julio's estimate was 100% accurate, and he was very courteous and knowledgeable. He and his crew were very punctual, and worked very professionally: quietly, cleanly/neatly (i.e., no nails left around the property), they fixed an unexpected problem, and the new roof and gutters look and work great. I highly recommend Julio and his crew, and would hire them again.

Julio is definitely a very professional man with excellen work ethics. He came 3 different times to talk about my roof and show me a variety of shingles on large boards. I had many questions which he explained very well. I first met him when he replaced the roof on my neighbor's home. I was impressed with his work there and how nicely he dealt with his workman. Julio also suggested(during the roofing process) that we add an additional vent on the 3 season room portion of the roof which we were building at the time----in order to prevent any moisture issues that he had seen in other 3 season room additions. NO extra charge for this was added to my very reasonable roofing contract!

Everything went great! We were provided shingle samples to pick out a color. Then, after about a week, they called to set up a day to begin. With 3 men on the scene, the job took 2 full days, to complete 7:15am to 6pm. They were each very polite and professional and worked continuously all day, despite the 90° days! They had gotten the building permit so we didn't need to bother so that was appreciated. They began each day by carefully spreading tarps all over the surrounding ground and moved anything (we had several plants and statuettes) that could possibly be damaged. The owner was on site during the entire job which made me feel very secure, that the work was being done as detailed in his bid. After about half the day was gone and they had stripped our old shingles off the roof, they asked if my husband if would like to take a look at the plywood sheets on the roof. One entire side of our roof's sheets (31 sheets), was splintered and decayed, and would need replacing. He was told that this was because there was not enough venting and that moisture could not escape - (also, because of our low-hanging tree branches), that moisture rotted the wooden sheets under the shingles. At least half of our roof's sheeting ended up needing replacing. This added some cost to our original bid (materials and labor), but when I talked with our neighbor again about it, he said the cost and labor they were adding for the extras was an "extremely good deal"! I learned later that my neighbor, who looked the bid over previously, had been peeking in on their progress and saw that the crew stayed true to the bid. They added extra venting too, so this should help with making our roof last longer. I would highly recommend this company to reshingle your home or business! They also do siding and we are considering hiring them for that job as well. We are very pleased!

Found Gethesame's pricing fair and new roof of excellent quality. Julio and his crew take pride in their work and it show's in their product. Julio is an experienced roofer, and runs a small efficient operation (which keeps overhead low, offering better value to customers); He works along side his crew on roofing jobs, so there is no slip up that can happen in larger firms between the promises made by the salesperson and work performed by the working crew.

Excellent work by Julio and his crew. Excellent communication as to when they would arrive and how long they would be working. Very prompt responses to any questions or concerns. Crew arrived promptly at 7:15 every day. Clean up was impeccable each day. Would heartily Julio for any roofing work.

Julio has excellent customer service skills and truly a craftsman when it comes to roofing. Tarps were placed to protect numerous fauna and vines around the house. Clean-up was excellent.

I had already received three other estimates to replace our roof. I’m a pretty good judge of character and even though they all had A ratings on Angie’s List, I didn’t feel totally satisfied or trusting with any of them. So I looked on Angie’s list one more time. I saw Gethsemane Roofing and started reading the reviews. I thought this guy, Julio, sounds too good to be true. So I called him to get an estimate. He showed up right on time. He took measurements, figured the pricing. and we discussed the details. I loved his laid-back style, not pushy or sales-pitchy, and after drilling him with every question I could think of for a twenty minutes, I knew he had exceptional knowledge and experience about every facet of roofing, siding, flashing, etc. And I knew I could trust him to do the job right from that first conversation. His price was not the lowest or the highest, but was very reasonable. He was always professional, courteous, concientious, prompt, and thorough, (he actually exceeded my exceptations, which is not an easy thing to do). Unike other roofing companies I have hired in the past, who either subcontract the work or leave and let apprentice workers do most of the work, Julio and his full time crew were personally and exclusively on the job from start to finish. The roof looks fantastic. Julio also did an excellent job replacing the damaged flahshing around my garage door. He put down tarps over all the plants around our house, moved the lawn furniture to protect it from roof debris, and cleaned up thoroughly after the job was completed. They even used a magnet to remove any nails that fell to the ground during construction. Julio, the owner of Gethsemane Roofing, is the one of the best and most honest contractors I have ever had the pleasure of working wtih. I'm so happy I had the forsight to continue my search for the right roofer. If I could give him ten A’s, I would!

We requested estimates from 5 different roofing companies. Julio's was not the lowest, but it was the lowest for those offering a comprehensive replacement (new drip rail, vapor barrier at the eaves, etc). Most of the companies sent salespeople to deliver the estimate (one of them driving a $70,000 dollar car, which doesn't really send the best message), but Julio discussed the estimate himself, and was also a member of the team doing the work. He was always courteous, prompt and professional. I prefer his down-to-earth style, as opposed to the slick sales pitch you commonly receive from other companies. The work (on a somewhat intricate roof) was completed in 2.5 days, and looks fabulous. The house and landscaping were protected from debris, and the yard was gone over very thoroughly with a magnet to remove nails. Julio was also able to replace our chimney chase, which was rusted. I'm convinced we made the right decision in choosing Gethsemane - excellent value for a job done right.

After 20 years it was time to redo the roof. Julio came on schedule. He noticed hail damage and suggested we call our insurance company. He gave us a detailed estimate and contract, did the work on schedule and at a good price, was polite and efficient and very hardworking to get work done between rainy days. He and his crew were careful of our landscaping, and they cleaned up the yard very well afterwards. Roof looks great, and now we have gutters that don't drip.

The whole process was easy and clear. Julio is great to work with. He keeps his word. No problems. Reliable. On time. Friendly. Neat.

They fixed what they could, and told us to contact a mason for the rest. They also found some other leaks with other pipes coming out of the roof, and fixed the flashing around them.
