Great. The roofs were repaired perfectly and the damaged wood underneath was replaced where necessary. They also replaced our non functional gutters. The crew was very professional and even though the job took an extra day, the cost was extremely reasonable. I would highly recommended Gethsemane for any roofing job.

I was very impressed with the workmanship and professionalism of Julio and his crew. Every few hours they would go around the property and make sure that there were no nails in the yard and they were very good at picking up any and all trash that came off the roof. We had several spots in our roof that were rotten and we knew needed repair. Julio took pictures and showed us exactly what needed to be fixed and made sure that it would never leak again. They worked 12 hour days and what would have taken us weeks to do ourselves took them just 4. They went above and beyond our expectations and I would highly recommend them if you need your roof repaired or replaced. Thank you!

We were most impressed and pleased w Gethsemane roofers. Julio came out to give us an estimate and though it was peak summer season with a lot of rain delays, he gave us his first available time slot to do our job. He climbed up on the roof personally and took photos to show us what the issue was. Our home is an older Tudor with many peaks. We have had visiting bats over the years and it was pointed out that a likely entry point was the vent covers which were of average quality and prior installation. Julio suggested removing the worn covers and then putting down a mesh material below the new covers, thus preventing bat entry. It made sense to us and thus far, seems to have worked. Our roof was getting a little long in the tooth so we asked Julio if it was time to consider a new one. He said no, that we have a good 5-10 yrs left on the roof itself though the vent covers were not of good quality/installation. He showed up when he said he would and knocked off the job in the same day, as promised. Julio's a quality guy who does quality work at a fair price. And he's on the job personally. We couldn't have asked for more.

Julio (owner of Gethsemane Roofing) and his crew of two really do live up to their motto of providing “service with integrity and honesty.” We are extremely pleased with their work of tearing off, replacing several areas of underlayment damage, and installing a new roof on our house and garage. Julio promptly responded to our call for an estimate for a new roof. After getting four proposals, Gethsemane’s was the most competitive. Perhaps because he was the only contractor to actually go up on the roof, carefully inspect things, and get a complete picture of what work needed to be done (I viewed this as a very positive sign that this individual would do a good job.) Upon starting the job, the crew was very careful to cover up and protect windows and landscaping with tarps and sheets of plywood. They started everyday promptly at 7:30 a.m. working a full day until dark. At the end of each day they tidied up their working area and their materials. Our house is an older house with several complex and steep roof angles and slopes. Julio, who was on site everyday leading the work, demonstrated his expertise and knowledge of roofing by addressing each area with care, attention to detail, and making sure the job was done right. Our experience working with Julio throughout the process was always positive. He consistently communicated with us about what needed to be done and the progress at every stage. I always felt we were getting an honest and thorough job done right and, in the end, the roof looks great! I would strongly recommend Gethsemane Roofing.

I recently had to have one layer of asphalt shingles removed and replaced, and I am 100% satisfied with the work that was performed. I received a total of eleven bids for this project, and based on my extensive research, I selected Gethsemane Roofing to do the work. Their bid was very reasonable compared to the others, plus it included superior materials and the best warranty available. Julio is a ShingleMaster installer, which means that he has the highest credentials possible from CertainTeed (the manufacturer). He provided plenty of information regarding not only the quality of the shingles, but also all related materials such the underlayment, ice and water barrier, ridge vent, etc. He was great to work with, responsive to all of my questions, very punctual, professional, and was on the job himself from start to finish. The work was completed on schedule and they did a thorough cleanup when they were done. I also had him replace my 2" X 3" aluminum downspouts with 3" X 4" ones. The total cost of this project was $8,637. I would highly recommend Gethsemane Roofing to anyone who needs to have their roof replaced !

I was very pleased with every aspect of the job. Julio, the owner of the company, promptly answered my request for a quote and provided a very detailed estimate. The work was completed in 2 days as soon as the weather permitted, with the crew working long hours to get it done. The whole crew treated my property with respect and worked very hard. I thought the price was very reasonable. Since the roof comes with a 25 year guarantee I shouldn't need to hire them again, but I highly recommend this company.

I couldn’t have asked for a better results. I can praise their work effort, their timeliness, the responsiveness, their knowledge, and customer service. Julio and his team were great. Out of all the different estimates I got for my roof replacement, Gesthemane Roofing’s estimate and proposal was the most detailed and the cost was more than fair. Julio set a date and he and his team came on that day. It took about three days to finish our roof, five total days but two of the days it rained. Overall the finished product looks great and Julio took pictures of all the problem areas both before and after pictures, including step by step how he fixed the problems. He made sure he completed all the detailed items that was on his proposal. And then he took pictures of the finished roof and went through them with me. The new roof looks great!

I knew from day 1 I had picked the right contractor! Julio showed up for the estimate right on time. He thoroughly inspected the roof, took measurements, asked some questions and provided a bid on the project later that week. He took extra time to explain the process, and what items might be uncovered once the 2 layers of existing materials are removed. We agreed on a date to start the work, and when I got home that day, I was *amazed* at how much of the work had already been completed. The crew stayed until well after 6 PM on each day, and always did a clean-up each night. Julio was always responsive to any questions I had during the process, and gave me a quick update each day. Julio and his crew were some of the hardest working folks I've ever seen. They definitely take pride in what they are doing, they are committed to doing the job right, and providing as much value as possible. The roof looks fantastic, along with the new gutters + gutter guards installed. For the first time, I can say I'm looking *forward* to heavy rain , because I'm sure my garage will remain dry with the excellent roofing system in place. My only disappointment, is that Gethsemane doesn't branch out and do other projects like windows, etc, because I would certainly have them back! They were on time courteous, and efficient . First rate job from start to finish. My deck roof now is good for another 20 years, with better materials and workmanship than what came with the house.

Excellent job. I'm not a regular on Angies list, but I wanted to provide a good review for this company. They prepared a fair quote that I needed for the insurance company. Scheduled the job promptly. Planed properly to avoid any rain. Worked steady until completion. Cleaned up each night and at completion. Beautiful new roof, sky lights and gutters.

Julio came to look over the projects, showed up when he said he would, provided a professional bid and stayed in touch about when they could do the work. The crew showed up exactly on time, worked really hard, used good materials and matched the roof shingles well. They replaced the leaking skylight with a nice new one and showed me where it had been rotting around the edges. The bid came in just about where the insurance company said it should, and they didn't go over it. They left everything in great shape. They had very professional trucks and equipment, ladders, tarps, etc. I would hire this company again with no hesitation.

Julio and his team did an outstanding job replacing my roof. He was very competitively priced to other bids, fit me in his busy schedule, and left the job site in great condition. He replaced some missing pieces of fascia, too and was still the lowest bid. There were a few weather delays, but he kept me in the loop and even worked over the weekend to finish the job. I highly recommend hiring Gethsemane Roofing. They did an amazing job and I would definitely hire them again!

First we want to say what a pleasure it was to work with "Julio and crew at Gethsemane Roofing LLC". A contractor that really cares about doing good quality work, is prompt and is respectful of you and your property. We needed to have our roof replaced on our house. Julio and crew worked long hours making sure certain things were done daily before they left for the day - like making sure roof was covered and area was totally picked up and orderly. If Julio felt we needed a piece of wood replaced or a new collar for the chimney he brought it with him the next day but always talked with us first before installing - great communication. Also, work atmosphere was always quiet. We just can't say enough about how pleased and impressed we are with the whole experience. We had a great experience. Any roofing project is disruptive, but the logistics and communication made this a lot easier than we anticipated. The price was very reasonable and all the services performed conformed exactly to the estimate. Did a great job making sure the work site was clean. I'll call them back for my next project.

If we could give a review higher than an A, we would! We are so impressed and so pleased with the work Julio and his crew from Gethsemane did on our home. They exceeded our expectations in every way, and we recommend them without hesitation. I chose Gethsemane based on other Angie's List reviews, and I can echo every positive thing all the other reviewers have said. Julio and his crew are truly committed to doing quality work. It shows not only in the quality of the finished project -- which looks fantastic!!! -- but in the way they approached the job at every step. Julio was prompt with all his communication. In fact, as an early season job, from our first contact to completion of the project was practically the speed of light! He responded to our initial inquiry right away and quickly set up a time to look at our home. He emailed us a bid the next day, and work started just a few days later. (That probably wouldn't happen later in the season when they are busier, but we were lucky!) Throughout the project, he kept us advised of things we needed to know and answered any of the questions we had. We appreciated his responsiveness very much! He showed up at the time he promised every time he came to our house. When work began, the crew showed up ready to work. These are hard-working guys who didn't hesitate to work long days to get the job done, and to get it done right. Their trucks and equipment were all clean and well-maintained, which was our first hint of the quality we could expect. They were all nice, respectful, and focused on the job. As they got to work, they treated our home and property with exceptional care and respect. I am a gardener with flower beds along the front and side of the house, and they took great care around all the plantings -- not a single plant was harmed in the roofing of our home. :-) They were diligent about keeping the work area tidy and clean, and carefully and systematically swept the yard with a large magnet each day, to make sure there were no nails or dangerous debris in our yard. They treated our home as if it were their own. We knew that our roof was old and had some "issues" with leaks and other damage, some of it substantial. We were worried that all the extra repairs were going to completely inflate the bill. But Julio knows his craft, and even though we may have been surprised to see the not-great condition of the wood under the shingles, I am sure he was not, and he had planned for it in his bid. They also went above and beyond what they had planned, and even used some of the spare singles to re-do a small lean-to wood crib on the back of our house. It looked pretty lousy before the project, so much so that I was plotting to replace it. But their care and attention to that small structure made it look dramatically better... so I will be freshening it with a coat of paint, which will save a ton of money over replacing it. We didn't ask Julio to do that, but he saw a need, and like everything else on the job, he fixed every single thing that needed to be fixed, taking care with every detail, and making sure that the final project would be solid and sound for years to come. Julio gave us a great price, and it is worth every penny we paid. Having to spend money on a roof is never one of the fun and exciting projects we get to pay for as homeowners. But I have to say, I feel soooo good about the work they did! I know it is craftsmanship quality, and honestly, the house looks better than it has in the 12+ years that we have owned it. The roof and gutters look amazing! It is all crisp and precise, with quality materials and not a single detail missed. We keep walking outside to admire their work because it really was a huge facelift for our home. Their care of our home and the final product help me see clearly that this was not a big bill to pay... it was a sound investment in a home that we are blessed to own and care for. It struck me as bold thing for this company to include the tagline "a company with integrity" all over their trucks and website. Lots of companies like to say they have integrity, but when you literally park that commitment on your truck that is parked in a customer's driveway, that is setting the bar high. And that said... their tagline is the truth. Their communication, their honest bid, their punctuality, their hard work, their care of our home, their commitment to do the job right, their decision to go the extra mile for the sake of a quality job....they nailed their own tagline. We will not hesitate to call them again as soon as we are ready to do the siding on our house. Julio came out this winter and gave us a quote for work to be performed this spring. We would have preferred to wait until the weather warmed up but we had also signed with a deck contractor who was ready to go asap. We contacted Julio in mid March and he responded that they could come out as early to accommodate us and our deck contractor. We were really pleased with all of the items on the rating list and felt that Julio had earned every one of the A's.

Outstanding! We couldn't be happier with Julio and his company. He far surpassed all expectations that we had and our expectations are fairly high. To be honest, my husband has always done all of our home remodeling and repairs and cringes at the thought of hiring anyone else to do anything. Too often when you hire someone to do work for you, they cut corners and are focused more on getting the job done quick than they are on the quality of the work. This was not the case with Julio. We were impressed with every step of the experience. His timeliness in coming out to our house, providing the itemized estimate, his explanation of the materials and warranty, the quality of the work, his work ethic, the timeliness of the work, the cost, his communication throughout, his respect of our property, absolutely everything. He only made the necessary repairs and was extremely fair with his pricing. He really went above and beyond with everything he did. I just can't say enough about how impressed we are. Best experience we've ever had hiring a contractor!

Exactly as described. He identified the issue and gave options to prevent it in the future and then proceeded to do exactly what he said. No pressure, just what the process would be and what the results would be. He was on time for the appointment and completed the repair to the extent that I almost couldn't tell the difference from before the repair! He added additional flashing to further protect the repair. He see's the issue and provides solutions to make the repair last... Awesome person with attention to detail and obviously cares about his work.

Julio does professional, quality work at an affordable price. He very obviously takes pride in what he does and I really appreciate the safety precautions he takes (harness, spotter, spiked shoes, insurance). He came same-day to give an estimate (great!). His estimate had photos of similar work he had done before which I found very helpful. He took siding paint home with him so he could prep wood beforehand and be ready for the job! We sheduled his work for a Sunday (so convenient that he works on the weekends). He ended up repairing more boards that we anticipated because the water and squirrel damage spread father than we realized. His quality and attention to detail is so apparent. All at a very reasonable price. Total job took 2.5h, plus his prep work. I recommend him highly!

Julio's work was first rate, from initial assessment to final product. The area he worked on is indistinguishable from the original areas of the roof. His pricing for the work was very fair, and the repaired areas are better than the original roofing work. We would highly recommend Julio for any roofing original construction or repair work.

We are so pleased with the work performed by Gethsemane Roofing. Before they started, we knew there were some issues with the roof, (leaks, cracked boards, etc.), but the tear-off revealed significant problems. Julio, (owner of Gethsemane), and his crew, never missed a beat. They quickly resolved the issues, and kept us well informed through the entire process. Although they could have charged significantly more for the extra work, (and they would have been justified in doing so), they honored the terms of their original proposal. They were everything we hoped for in a contractor, and more, (professional, pleasant, prompt, clean and ethical). We will recommend them to our friends and family.

Outstanding service. After the initial contact by phone Julio came to our house to write an estimate within a couple of days. As he went over the work he was going to do it was clear he was a subject matter expert. This job was a tear off along with some plywood replacement with two skylights. His quote was very reasonable. We had another quote from another company that was double the price. Once we scheduled the work he showed up on time as planned. His crew of 3 were very efficient and respectful and maybe the hardest working crew I have ever seen. Julio replaced the flashing around the skylights, tore of the shingles and after we saw the shape of our insulation and plywood we agreed that it should be replaced. Everything was done perfectly as we had agreed on and they cleaned up everything beautifully! The logo on Julio’s truck " A company with integrity" is not just a gimmick but what he genuinely practices. I give him the highest recommendation possible and would tell anyone to hire Julio to do their roof replacement. I will definitely hire him to do the rest of our roof in the future.
