Description of Work: We had casement windows replaced in two rooms. Ganser is the only distributor of Marvin Infinity windows in the Madison, WI area. Install went quickly and smoothly, as scheduled. We appreciated the professionalism and the care taken to protect trim, touch-up paint and clean up. Price was at the high end of the range, but so far we are happy with the windows.

Description of Work: I'll start by saying I think this was a unique situation. Ultimately the problem was communication. It took two attempts to get an onsight inspection, multiple calls and e-mails to get the written estimate, my pursuing them to take my money as a deposit to lock in the contract, and over a dozen contacts to see when the work would start before forcing a contract cancellation after the 60 days window had passed for the work to begin. At that point, it still took more than a half-dozen calls to get and follow up on getting a refund. Getting the refund is probably the only reason I gave a 'D' overall rather than an 'F'. All told, it took over 7 months. I'd read good reviews before going with them and, based on the price, they must do good work, but my experience was not good and bears noting even if it is unique.

Description of Work: I had several windows and three storm doors replaced. The replacement items are beautiful and the team arrived on time to do the work. This company is a little pricier than some but I got high-quality replacements. The previous windows and doors were not especially expensive but they didn't hold up well. My only concern was with the rapid overturn of their sales staff -- between the time I first called and the time I had the work done two people had been in charge of my project and both quit so I didn't hear from the company for over a month despite a promise of regular updates on their schedule. Eventually I called them back and an owner took charge of the project. It went quite well after that. Some of the hardware for the doors did not arrive at the same time as the doors but they will be back to install it once it arrives. The crew went above and beyond what I would have expected and I would recommend them to anyone.

Description of Work: Ganser folks worked closely with us to select the appropriate front door and door to our garage. It was a very enjoyable process. During installation, a couple of items were missed. I called right away and someone came within 2 hours to complete the job. We were very satisfied and would definitely choose Ganser in the future.

Description of Work: Marc was very up front with pricing, easy to talk to, well informed on product and guesstimate on time frame was fairly accurate. We ended up having 18 windows replaced in our home. Finished product is as expected or better, this winter will be the true test. Contract was signed in April, work was expected to be done by the end of July or beginning of August, was not started until September due to hiring/employee issues. This set up for some inconvenience on our end with timing, and we were disappointed that the communication wasn't better from their end (received quick feedback from them when we would inquire once a month, they didn't initiate communication or updates). They did a great job on a day to day basis while here, performed some unexpected finish work (on our request) at no charge, were professional and timely in morning arrivals. Job lasted into a 4th day due to rain on the first day, but all work was done within one week.

Description of Work: As of now my ratings can only be placed on their price,responsiveness, puncutuatity and professionalism. My Martin patio door will not be ready to install for another month. But the way Ganser is taking care of this problem is very nice and up to date.

Description of Work: Ganser was very thorough. The installation people were superb! (Mark Lazzaroni). The estimator (Matt Winterberge) was extremely helpful during the entire process!

Description of Work: The Ganser Company gave me an estimate, priced out materials and gave us options to choose from. On the day the roof was replaced, the crew showed up on time, was very professional and cleaned up very well after the job was done. I would use the Ganser Company in the future and I would recommend to my family and friends. This was a job well done.
