These folks deliver. The work was done promptly and effectively. I examined the house closely and everything was expertly done. Clean-up was perfect as well.

Job was completed very quickly (2 small bathrooms done in under 3 hours), and I was very satisfied with the work. The crew cleaned up their brushes and equipment off site. Everyone I dealt with from the company was very friendly, professional, and accommodating. I will definitely use Five Star Painting again on future projects.

I did take off half a star because they didn't clean a couple of paint smudges off of the ceiling very well and because we don't have the original matching paint. we'll be stuck with it until we decide to paint all of our main floor ceilings.

Very professional crew. The response for a quote was immediate, and painting scheduled within 2 weeks. I was impressed they could get the full job done in just one day. Communication with the home office was very responsive and helpful. Very happy with the result. Only reason it wasn't perfect was some of the repairs from old screws and damage to the walls was still visible even after patching. That may have been due to my not asking enough questions and assuming they would be able to take care of it. In the future, for bigger patches I might have our handyman do them before hiring 5Star for painting.

Workers were great! They did an exceptional job and were very detail oriented. They also were able to work around all of the art work picture hooks.

Everyone was so professional. I had many questions and Alisa was great. She never sounded annoyed or inconvenienced when I called. The painters were fast and did an amazing job painting my cabinets. When the job was over they reviewed their work and touched up any areas that needed it, then cleaned up the area. Except for the beautiful cabinets you couldn't tell they had been there. The cost was very competitive. If you want your cabinets painted, these are the people to go with!

Before I hired them, I had another highly rated company come over to give me an estimate on painting the exterior of my aluminum gazebo. I was informed that it would be very expensive to paint and I should just tear it down and replace it even though the gazebo was in excellent shape except for the roof that was oxidized. Then I had Five Star Painting come out. Wow, what a difference both in knowledge and professionalism. My gazebo was painted by them yesterday and it looks brand new. They use only high quality paints. The painters were so careful and wonderful workers. The supervisor made sure every inch was covered in paint. The gazebo looks amazing. This winter I will hire them to do some interior painting. Also, the price charged was very fair. I will absolutely go with them and not even get estimates from other contractors. Five Star Painting us truly a five star company!

I hate to have to write a poor review on a company but based on the cost vs. low quality of work and extremely poor customer service, I did not really have much choice. During the initial quote, they seemed like they were professional and flexible in terms of timing and being able to paint over the weekend. Once they received our 50% down, this all changed. We had a hard time scheduling the paint job and now all of a sudden they would not paint on weekends. This is a vacation house and we are only there on the weekends, which made scheduling that much more difficult and contrary to what we were told before signing the contract. Finally, through a lot of back and forth they agreed to start on a Friday and return on Saturday to complete the job. I wondered how they could paint a 2400 sq ft house in 1.5 days. After they completed the job, we saw how that was possible. They left paint marks all over the master bedroom carpet, paint was left on many of the light sockets, corners of the room were not well done, and the cracks and other imperfections in the wall were just painted over without fixing the wall (as it said they would do in the contract). We told Alisa we were not happy with the work and asked about the wall imperfections, which she said they fixed. But when we asked the painter, he said they did not fix anything because they were not told too. In our mind, this decreased the credibility of this company. We then left them a key so they can resolve the issues and give them some flexibility for them to come in the middle of the week where we did not have to be there. We then later learn due to us granting them that flexibility and because we were not present, we now somehow waived the walk through. After our poor experience with the company and low quality work, we decided not to push any further on forcing them to honor their own contract with the walk through and we were glad to be done with this company. I would not recommend them nor use them for any future painting jobs.

Wish I was writing a positive review instead of negative. We debated between a few companies and finally chose Five Star. Mark, who did the quote, was very friendly and offered great customer service. Then once we paid the 50% down everything changed with this company. Had a hard time getting a hold of them to get job scheduled. We were not told a franchise that worked through a call center, so hard to get a hold of anyone in Madison. Finally we were able to get a hold of Alisa, the owner, got job scheduled and thought things were turning for the better. Unfortunately not the case. Job was scheduled but then they got another job that had to do ASAP so crew on our job was being pulled early so cut corners and did not do quality work. I tried contacting Alisa but could never get much of a response. As a matter of fact, Alisa has not returned one call since problems with the job. Project manager, Jay, said would bring in a crew to fix the mistakes. I went over to the site that day to find in the middle of afternoon only two people just beginning to try and correct the poor workmanship areas. I sent message to Alisa and Jay and told them I was there and not happy not much of a crew there taking care of problems (and just showing up in afternoon). So I left for an hour and came back. Jay was there helping with one other man (and the original two and also a woman named Amber who wasn't helping, so not sure why she was there). By this time of day the condo was pretty dark inside and basically impossible for them to work on the areas that needed to be fixed. In the dark you don't see them but in the sunlight they stick out like a sore thumb. Had they brought in some painting lights that would of helped but all the company had was one small light. So I stayed there with them and they finished around 6. It was way too dark in the condo and I told them that I could not do a walk through since could not see the workmanship until day light. Great company!!! I am the worst at picking out paint colors and put off getting our great room painted for nearly a year. Alisa was so sweet and patient. She even came over and helped to guide me to the perfect color for our space. I am so grateful!!! The entire team was wonderful! Iâ m very particular about things and I didnâ t have a single complaint about the quality of the job, which included walls and ceiling. Plus, the company supports many local programs for our community. We will definitely call 5 Star Painting for future projects!
