Very poor communication and argumentative representative. Called in January and again a couple of months later. Never got a live person when I called and only got a call back a month after my second phone message, then another month for an estimator to call me back. Explained full extent of retaining wall project as primary estimate to estimator with driveway, who came out recently and discussed project at length with us, taking pictures, etc., even involving the neighbor whose property the wall abuts. The driveway and sidewalk replacement were second project that I was considering doing at the same time but I explained I'd likely wait another year to do that unless there were cost savings or an overriding reason to do that at the same time as the more urgent retaining wall. Received an estimate for the driveway by email so I replied back asking about the retaining wall. Danita replied that that was all we had asked for. I replied that the main project was the retaining wall and she insisted that all we had asked for was the driveway estimate. I asked her more than once to discuss this with the estimator who I had spoken with and who came out to do the estimate for the retaining wall. Danita insisted the project was only supposed to be the driveway. Then, without explanation, Danita said "For various reasons we are not interested in doing this job." Hours spent working on this by us, four months spent waiting to get responses--all wasted time and effort. I guess Capitol City Concrete doesn't need work? Can't really explain why Danita chose to be so argumentative, or even why CCC was so resistant to doing this work or chose not to be up front about any questions or concerns they might have had--that is, assuming this isn't just a case of someone being difficult.

Once again, they did a great job. The removed an old cracked concrete patio and installed a new 10x15 ft concrete patio. The finishing was very nice with a decorative boarder, expansion joints, and a good sealer. I think they do a really good job with quality materials, great workmanship, and a fair price. I highly recommend them and would hire them again without hesitation for any concrete flat work.

Three man team worked together. Very efficient and professional. Very high quality and completed work looked great! When they first arrived we went over the entire job. They listened intently and then discussed their approach with to make sure we were all on the same page. Great job all around.
