They did an excellent job. First they framed the area before the ground froze and then they came to finish off the fence. After giving us an estimate, we requested an extra eight foot of fencing added on and they only charged on an an extra amount to pay for the materials, not the additional labor. We had called another fencing company and they told us that Action fencing was going to be better priced (!).

We have a very small back yard, in downtown Madison, that follows a sidewalk. Our new dog is quite an escape artist, so we proactively put up a new secure fence to replace the 15-20 year old picket style fence. Because of our location, we had numerous city ordinance considerations when designing the fence, as well as wanting it to look nice because it was exposed for all of the neighborhood. Action Fence was our second lowest bid. We chose Action because of Jason's excellent customer service. I was very particular on what I wanted the fence to look like, and Jason walked through it with me to ensure we would get what we wanted. This included figuring out a way to install a solid wood driveway gate, that swung, along a slope, without gaps for the dogs to escape, and reasonably priced. The crew that came to install the fence was very nice, and the job was done on time. I had a few concerns about the end "look" of the fence (one of the gates opened incorrectly, a board was loose, and the driveway gate was not quite flush). Jason responded immediately, coming to the house the next day and fixed my concerns. After install, I was worried what neighbors would think of our new big wood privacy fence, but we've had neighbors cross the street to tell us how nice it looks! Now that it is stained, it really looks fantastic, and there's no way that dog is getting out! My only "complaint" is that the bottom edge of the fence along the ground is not smooth - but I never told them this bothered me, so it certainly isn't their fault for not fixing it. I was happy with our experience with Action. Jason, and the crew that put up the fence did a really nice job. When we need to replace another small stretch of fence, I will certainly call them again.

We had a few miscommunications at the start, but once those were cleared up, we couldn't have been more pleased with the end product. The fence looks terrific and the two builders were quick and professional and cleaned up the job site really well. We had gotten a quote for about $300 less, but the other company hadn't had as many Angie's list positive reviews so we paid the extra and we've been quite happy with the results.

The sales person was knowledgable and answered all my questions. The estimate was emailed in a timely fashion and changes I needed made to estimate was done quickly. The sales person kept me informed each step of the process. We did have a back order issue with the railing but they quickly informed me of the situation. The guys doing the fence were quick and neat while doing the fence.

I can't remember if it was $4500 or more, but we have a larger yard with large trees. We also have a fiber-optic cable that runs through the back length and got some specialized advice from Action regarding that issue. Overall we got three estimates from other companies. Although Action wasn't the lowest, it was in the middle of the other estimates - we decided to go with them because they are a local company to Fitchburg and anecdotally we heard good things about them. We were not disappointed. They were very personal, very professional, and came out and installed the wood picket fence in one day. They had estimated it would take 1 and a half days, but they stayed until the job was finished. It was a great value for the money.

They gave the lowest estimate and were able to incorporate an existing section of fence. They answered all my questions and were sensitive to my neighbor's concerns. The project came in under budget even though they did have to dig out a rock the size of a beach ball where one of the posts was going. The fence looks great and no doggy has escaped yet. My neighbor likes it too.

We were pleased with our sales person who arrived on time to inspect and measure the area. We were undecided about what type of fence, but were on a pretty tight budget. The sales person made several recommendations and provided estimates for several options. The process when very smoothly, they fit our install in before the weather got too cold. We're very happy with our fence style and the install.

Helped us to determine our needs and what materials would work best. We wanted a secure area for our dogs off the house and also the back part of our property fenced. The fencing looks great and the installers were quick and neat. This company had the lowest bid of the three we obtained but I don't believe we sacrificed any quality. They seemed very knowledgable and didn't try to talk us into a more expensive option like one of the other companies. The fence was installed on rocky, sloped property with no issues.

We received our estimate via email (as promised) a few days after our initial meeting. We had numerous questions and changes, and each time, we received a prompt response. Action Fence was on top of determining our lot lines and calling the utilities to mark the underground lines. Soon after, we had a brief appointment to confirm our plans for the crew that would be out the next day. The fence was installed and it looks great! They completed their work in one day as promised.

Their price was very reasonable. They did an excellent job. They were efficient and effective. They responded well to what we wanted. They also took some initiative in troubleshooting a problem we had with our soil where they were erecting the fence and came up with a solution.

They did a great job. They were quick and efficient. We have major cable trunking between me and my neighbors. They cannot sink ties that close due to state lines. After they came out he found the tubes. He came back and came up with a game plan with options. He was good at explaining the different options. In the end we had to move a little closer in. It looks great and I have a functional background. It even still has it's color after this winter. It was sturdy and well built. I did research on three companies. Of the three companies they were the middle of the road cost. They have excellent customer reviews and we saw there work around. There pricing was reasonable. The fence was even and uniform. The pickets are flat straight across with no dips. The workmen were quick and clean. They were done in a day and there was no debris left.

They were pretty good. They were professional. They came out and did their work quickly. They did the work in November after we got the approval from my home owner's association. They were here when they said they would be here. Our overall experience was good. They put the fence in and everything has been fine.
