Here's how it went, we called them, they came out and looked at the task, gave us an idea of what it would cost, we scheduled a time (quite soon after our first call), they showed up on time, were prepared for the job, worked quickly, looked at other items not previously discussed. Finished quickly and all was perfect. The only issue (can a negative be a positive?) The initial estimate was a bit high, the bill for the work was less than the rough estimate. They have mastered the art of customer-expectation-game. As they have exceeded this customer's expectations. bravo, well done. I would hire this company again.

Ever Ready was the electrical contractor chosen by our builder for our new construction in March 2013. We had several problems with Every Ready from the beginning and they continue.....Ever Ready had to be called back several times during the construction process for missing electrical items supplied in the specs, they forgot to add the fan timers in all of the bathrooms, no phone or cable jack in the office along with can lighting shorting out then after we moved into our house I noticed that every time I plugged in the vacuum the lights dimmed dramatically in every room so I contacted them and their only response was that vacuums draw a lot of power.....never thought my cheapo eureka from Wal-Mart was that powerful! Then two out of the three bathrooms timers went out before two years and when I called to ask about a manufactures warranty on them...I was told nothing was warrantied over a year. I politely expressed my disappointment in the faulty switches and was asked by Dawn at Ever Ready if it made me feel better to gripe about it. Not a very professional contractor and would never hire them again.

Scott was so friendly, knowledgeable, and left things clean! He went out of his way to explain how the electrical was set up in our new home to help us figure out what some switches did (some nothing and some were connected to outlets). He replaced some outlets that did not work and is going to get us a quote for some other work we want done not covered by our home warranty. great service!! They also called the same day as my home warranty claim was filled and came out within the same week!
Description of Work: Scott came over to fix some outlets through our universal home warranty

Labor cost was excellent. Cost for Panasonic fan was less than two local stores but more expensive than Internet prices. Good communications prior to the install. Tammy did a great job in answering my questions and scheduling the install date. Installer showed up on time. He set up a plastic barrier to minimize dust. Nice touch. I watched him remove the old fan and it was apparent the guy knows his fans. I asked, he averages 10 fan installs per week. He quickly unpacked our new Panasonic Whisper Lite fan and enlarged the hole for the bigger fan. He also added a piece of wood along one side to help spread the weight of the unit over the ceiling wall board. Later I looked and this step is NOT in the installation Instructions. I asked and he told me it helps spread out the weight resulting in a better install. I saw him carry it into the house and could not figure out why he needed it. We are a shoeless house and he removed his boots when inside, nice. The installation went fine and he asked how we wanted the night light wired since we only had two switches (one for the light, one for the fan). We chose to have the night light hooked to the fan side. He used a box to catch the instillation fall through the cut out when he was removing the old fan assembly. He brought in a special vacuum and swept up the area when he was done. I did not have to do any extra cleaning. He showed me how to replace the three bulbs and gave me all the instruction and warranty paperwork. He also went overhead to slightly move a pipe that ran close to the fan assembly box and to push the installation back around/over the blower box. He does not use duct tape to tape the insulated 4" pipe to the Panasonic blower outlet, he used the more expensive silver tape with the better adhesive. Duct tape dries. The guy knows what he is doing and very efficient. He was respectful of our home and very professional. Strongly recommend you consider them for your electrical requirements. I have not received the final bill...assuming there are no surprises, I highly recommend them.
Description of Work: I was looking for a new fan/light/night light for our master bathroom. At the NARI show they gave me a booklet on Panasonic fans. After reading the book I calculated the "CFM" requirement and studied the book. I emailed them for a quote.. Scheduled the installation. They installed the fan in 45 minutes and went into the attic to push the insulation back over the fan housing. Total time 1 hour.

I would give the overall job a strong B. As often happens, our kitchen rehab project produced a few surprises along the way. The outlet work we needed turned into more than we expected, with the discovery of some work previously done that was not in compliance with code. Joel and his co-workers worked diligently to correct all of the problems. They were professional, clean and organized. The only concern we had during the project was with the under-cabinet lighting part of the project. We expected that the crew had lots of experience with the system we purchased. It has taken several weeks to work through selection of a new different product, and to deal with the installation of what turned out to be the incorrect type of wiring that was installed. In fairness, it was partly the fault of the GC, but Ever Ready should probably have recognized the problem before it was installed.

They are always professional and do a good job. I had them upgrade my electrical service and install new light fixtures and outlets. They also added cable and phone jacks to all the rooms in my house. I would recommend them to anyone looking for an electrician.
