The owner is a real artist. He included some engraved and skilled designs within the solid surface. They had a really nice selection of colors. They worked a long time with us to get the colors to go well with the other colors of the house. There was one dispute about a product quality piece. One of the co-owners was absolutely unpleasant and unreasonable, but the other co-owner worked it out with us.

I received Modern Marble's name and information from my dad, who is a builder and has used them in his own house and on numerous other jobs. My husband and I have Corian right now in our current home and wanted something more natural looking for the farmhouse we bought. We looked at granite and natural slabs of stone at all the major home building stores and some other local providers and then called Bev and Jeff at Modern Marble to talk about their product. Bev was very responsive to my questions and concerns and told me to come into their office to take a tour of their facility and see the slabs of manufactured product in person because the color chips on the website did not do them justice. My husband and I drove to Mayville and met with them and we were SO glad we did. Jeff went through our cabinet colors and paint chips and brought out numerous samples until we found something close to what we wanted. Then Bev helped us pick the coordinating color for the built-in sink and we were very excited about the final look. After we picked out colors and made a down-payment, Jeff came out to our farmhouse and built a template for the kitchen countertops. We finalized the edge design and he helped me to decide about a raised corner shelf design. It took a while for the countertops to be built due to the large size and design of our island and some other scheduling delays on their part, but once they were done, they were installed in less than a day and they look absolutely beautiful! Everyone has commented on the unique edge and how stunning they look with our cabinets.
