They were under a general contractor, and when I called them to fix things that weren't working, they would not respond to me. They would respond to the contractor, and then they came over. Example: in the upstairs bathroom the pipes froze. They and quot;fixed' the problem, but had to come back because the pipes were still freezing. Didn't use enough insulation. There was a creak in one of the upstairs floor boards that they were never able to fix, most likely from using green wood. The house got a crack in the livingroom wall/ceiling. I felt that they did a rush job so they could get to some more expensive properties, and they let our house sit for days. Could not get the house done at the time specified in the contract, and had to ask for more time. In that time, interest rates rose quite a bit, so the house cost us a lot more than it should have.

I thought they did a great job. Very courteous and professional. I added tasks as they came back and they always fitted them in the schedule. I didn't get a contract though I got an estimate because they billed by the hour. I have a couple other jobs (kitchen and bathroom remodel) I want to do in the next year or 2 and I intend to use them for those tasks as well.
