They said they could not use my original feed valve because they did not have the proper fitting, so charged to install a new feed valve. New valve does not give much flow to ice maker or water dispenser. Poor work. Did not properly seal original valve, which left water leak into basement. Did not clean up after themselves; left a mess. I think they've become too big to care about customers.

Description of Work: Ripped out old shower stall, installed new stall,fixtures etc. |They were on time, did all I asked, advised on some ideas we had not considered, and completed the work in a timely, professional manner 2 agreed on price. No surprises.I've owned this old home (circa 1908) since 1998-Reigel has done all my normal maintenance,emergency, and remodeling work-I've always been happy,and will continue to call them as the need arises.

Description of Work: My furnace had quit working over the weekend. I called them on Monday morning, in less than an hour they were in my basement working on my furnace. They replaced an electrode, a relay, and fuel filter. They had me back to heating in no time and cleaned up any mess before they left.

 + 0 moreOverall Riegel has been extremely helpful with plumbing issues that ended up needing to be taken care of by the City of Marshfield, due to mistakes made during road construction that occurred. They took up the fight and held the city accountable, saving me money and in the end having money returned to me that I should not have had to pay because of poor work by the contractor. They were always prompt, helpful, and friendly when completing work. The only issue I had was with the toilet being replaced and reset, and later discovering that they did not remove the old wax ring from the old toilet, which caused issues with the new toilet. That was discovered when I had a friend help with the issue instead of calling the plumber. Overall though, I have been very happy with their service and would continue to use them again in the future.
Description of Work: During my last service with Riegel, they cleared my sewer pipe from debrie that caused my basement to flood with 2 feet in of water. They discovered a break in the pipe under the street and helped me fight with the city to get it fixed. After scoping the pipe with a camera, they provided the evidence to the city to repair it. I have also used Riegel many times for sewer pipe issues, as well as a clogged drain in the basement, repairing pipes in my bathtub, replacing a toilet, and having a new sewer pipe sleeve put in.

 + -1 moreThey were very prompt. They were able to identify the part that had gone bad, had it on the truck and fixed in under 15 minutes. While they were here, they also replaced the furnace filter for no additional charge. Replacing the filter was an example of their thoroughness. They explained the problem and things to look for so it doesn't happen again.

Description of Work: We had a leak in our main shut off pipe so we couldn't turn off the water and the basement was flooding. Reigel came right over, froze the pipe, fixed the valve and did it fast, fair and professionally. They really saved us a much worse mess.
