HORRIBLE. From the moment the technician entered my home, he was a jerk. He wore his muddy boots into my living room, dirtying the carpeting, and he was rude to my young son (who just wanted to see what the inside of a TV looked like). The part he brought to fix the TV as defective but, rather than just order another, he informed me he'd need to take the television into the shop (a 20-minute drive). I stated that I didn't want him to take the TV; seems like the chance of something else being broken in transit was much higher than just ordering a new part. He very rudely said he didn't know when/if he'd be able to make it back out to replace the part. I told him I didn't think I wanted him in my home again, he said fine, he wouldn't be back, and he walked out of the house leaving the TV in pieces in my living room. I called Mittens immediately and spoke with the shop manager who informed me this jerk was the ONLY person who did house calls. Subsequently, I wrote a letter to Bill Mittens, the owner, detailing what happened. I received a phone call from him several days later. Unfortunately, Mr. Mittens was just as rude as his employees. He accused me of swearing at his worker (which NEVER happened). I guess workers really do get their attitudes from the top down.
Description of Work: Mittens employee came to our home to work on our 50" HD television, which was not functioning properly. The TV was no longer under warranty but, because Mittens actively advertises 'service after the sale', we were willing to pay for their service.
