 + 4 moreWe would highly recommend Kaufmann Improvements, LLC. Cory gave us amazing service, he is knowledgeable and reliable. He did what he said he would do, adhered to his schedule (as much as he could control) and kept the disruption to our lives at a minimum. He is extremely attentive to every detail and did not consider any task complete unless it is perfect even spending his own time to get it right. Minor changes, unforeseen issues were handled without any problems. He and his crew were clean and respectful that they were working in our home. We are very happy with the results of their work and have already talked to him about our next project! It's good to know that we finally found a company that we can really trust and know we can expect the best! Thank you for the hard work!
Description of Work: Basement Bathroom and Laundry Room Remodel including demo, electrical, plumbing, new drywall, painting, cabinet and counter top installation, and all new flooring in entire basement (which included moving furniture to allow for the new flooring).

 + -1 moreThis is our second time working with Corey. It was a wonderful experience to work with a contractor that takes pride in his workmanship. Corey had the the wood stained to match our new cabinets and he built a custom front to the bar, it turned out great! We will use him again to remodel our bathroom. The overall experience was excellent and it easy to work with Cory. He was always cheerful, helpful and courteous and if he was running late he always called. Thanks Corey!
Description of Work: Corey had installed cabinets and counter tops in the basement for a bar in the family room. It looked great but we wanted a custom front on the bar to match the cabinets that were installed.

 + 7 moreThe overall experience was excellent and it easy to work with Cory. He was always cheerful and helpful walking us through the whole project. He as very neat and always cleaned up when he was finished for the day. No mess left! Can't wait to do the kitchen.
Description of Work: Cory did a wonderful job redoing the porch with new pillars, concrete and storm door. He was meticulous with making sure it was done with superb workmanship. In the basement he installed ceiling tile, some paneling in the rec room and bathroom. He contracted out for the professionals to put in the electrical, drywall and flooring which was done to our specific instructions. We went over the estimate several times to make sure we had all the information and pricing correct. Cory oversaw all the remodeling with the other contractors to make sure there were no shortcuts. He called when he would be late. It was a wonderful experience to work with a contractor that had so much knowledge of his craft. He gave suggestions but the ultimate decision was ours and he honored it accordingly. We will use him again to redo our kitchen in the future. Thank you Cory.

 + 3 moreAlthough it was later in the year than ideal for concrete sealing (our fault for procrastinating), Corey carefully waited for a string of nice weather days to ensure that the job would come out as expected. He also stated that if the weather did not cooperate then he wouldn't force it, which made us feel very comfortable. Additionally, he also undertands that little jobs often lead to bigger jobs or referrals. He literally jumps through hoops for odd handyman jobs and is currently working on a few more for us (some finish carpentry and wood staining). He has an extremelypositive attitude and is a pleasure to work with. I would not hesitate to have him do any sort of remodelling work.
Description of Work: Corey is a consumate professional. Quick to respond no matter how small the job. He specializes in decks and patios, which is why we called him initially to reseal our stamped concrete patio, porch and drive. He was very competitive with his price as well as knowledgable about the whole process and what it would take to make sure that we were delighted with his finished work. He carefully cleaned all of the surfaces, and then rolled on the sealant. Previously the sealant had been sprayed and there was overspray on the house. Corey was adament about the roller work close up and that type of pride of workmanship says it all.
