I called on the first day that I wanted air conditioning this year knowing that my unit had stopped cooling at the end of the season last year. They scheduled a service call fo later that same day. The serviceman found and fixed the problem very quickly. When I asked about difficulty the difference in temperature among various rooms, he looked at the damper settings and the fan speed and told me that there wasn't much that could be done. Closing dampers and vents for the cooler rooms would help, but design shortcomings would be very difficult to remedy. They did not send a bill for nearly a month. They charged $114 for an hour of labor. That probably included travel time. The part was rather expensive, but the technician had it in his truck. I don't know if someone else might have done an equal job for less, but my guess is that the price was good for the excellent service I received. I would give the technician an A for professionalism, but I didn't like having to wait a month to find out how much it was going to cost.

From a frantic call for service late on Friday PM to the appointment on Saturday AM, my review of Warren Heating and A/C is all A's. Al answered the phone late Fri PM and was courteous, helpful and specific about appt time on Saturday. On Saturday, as promised, he called and arrived before 1200. the service call was completed in about 30-45 minutes and he had the invoice ready at that time too. Well done!!!

They replied immediately. They quality of their service is good. I would use them in the future.

Scott arrived on time. He had all the equipment he needed. He put down a tarp to protect the floor and stairs. He stayed on task and completed the installation. He cleaned up his work area. We were very pleased.

I am a Realtors and arranged for the bid from Warren Heating and then my client who bought the house sent me this email in response to my request of him for feedback to submit to Angie's List: Warren Heating came out and did the repair Thursday, January 6th. A gentleman by the name of Scott did the work. I stayed home so I could let him in the house and I ended up being able to help him do the install. We ran into a few snags here and there but the work was done by noon. Everything seem to be working really well and Scott was a really nice guy. I was most impressed that he did a thorough job cleaning everything up in the basement after the job was complete. He also replaced some exhaust piping (from the hot water heater) that didn't need to be replaced but he thought could be done better.

I called Warren Heating after a competing company (Harken) told me that they couldn't fit me in for a month. Warren worked with me to schedule an appointment the same day and, as mentioned above, accommodated my request for a follow-up visit. They identified the simple problem quickly and were very attentive to my requests. Thanks!

Their tech showed up exactly on time, was quick, friendly, and cleaned up after himself. Can't give a better rating than that!

They were good but I went with another company for various other reasons. They were pretty good with the estimate. I would consider using them in the future.

The person giving the estimate was able to problem solve how this would all fit in my small untility room. He came up with resonable solutions that other companies had not. The installer was very professional and also gave me different options on how to do things in the confined space. The estimator came by to check on the job during the installation. I appreciated this attention to detail. The old furnace was removed and the site (my home) was left clean. I will use these guys again.

He advised waiting until our AC died to replace it. He said we already have a high-efficiency air conditioner. We would not recoup savings by replacing the unit at this time. (We re already at a SEER of about 16, and new high-efficiency units have a SEER from 16-21). A new Bryant High-Efficiency Air Conditioner (they only sell Bryant) would run c. $4000 for the AC alone. It would take approximately 2-3 days turnaround for installation. It will take one day, and they will remove the old furnace. Randy seemed professional and my gut reaction was that he is reputable. He mentioned that Warren is one of only 3 HVAC companies in Madison that are NATE certified, and he himself is NATE certified. (I didn't have a chance to check on this, but NATE certification doesn't necessarily mean ample experience.)
