+ -1 moreGreat job and will use them again. Very helpful talking through options for updates I wanted, kept me informed, very professional workmanship, coordinated all the subs, and careful clean-up each day. Minimized down time for use of each bath.
Description of Work: Did updates in full and half bath, and coordinated with painter, flooring and plumber.

After acceptance of the proposal, they kept me advised of an estimated start date and as the date neared I was given a definite date and estimated finish date. They were able to start and finish the project as planned. Davies contracted with several other companies for the plumbing, dry wall, etc. All workers did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. I am very impressed with the quality of the work and the abilities of all the workers. My new bathroom is even better than I imagined.

+ 0 moreOverall very satisfied. The wall and drywall went up quick, but it took 2-3 weeks to get the door and trim finished (to match existing, adjacent door/trim) at a 3rd party contractor. That said, after it was done it looked seamless - very impressed that they were able to match the existing trim so closely. Would hire again. Great communication.
Description of Work: Installed a wall and door to turn a basement rec room into a smaller rec room + bedroom. Matched new door and trim to existing.

+ -1 moreThey were polite and timely throughout the process, from the initial meeting and providing the bid through finishing the project and getting our approval that it was finished. When we had a few small problems with the subcontractors for flooring and lighting (wrong fixture installed for one light, for example) they saw to it that the problem was fixed right away with no hassles. I was very pleased with the service throughout.
Description of Work: finished off part of the basement, including walls, electrical, and window frames. Painted, installed new floor.

+ -1 moreHe just came to present his proposal after first coming to assess the job.
Description of Work: Basically, Winn Davies came to give us an estimate on a bathroom remodel. He was very nice, punctual and responsive. But the prices he quoted were exorbitant. When I asked him about it, he said he would check on some of the prices and get back to me. He never did. Meanwhile, I just googled the price of a faucet that was quoted at $500 and found the exact same model on line for less than $200. Enough said. He also tried to push us to include some extra work that we didn't want to do--e.g. put in a bathtub surround using cultured marble. We later found out that this material is not generally used anymore.

+ 0 moreThey did a very good job, and even went out of their way to help us without any additional charge. We like they were punctual, very efficient, and did a great job cleaning up. They really know what they are doing, were very dependable, and we would highly recommend them.
Description of Work: They installed a three season screened in porch for us in the past. There was a couple boards that were loose, and they came back to fix repair it without any charge.
