+ 4 moreTony Volk was referred to us by an interior designer in Madison. He visited our premesis twice before starting work and provided a detailed description of what he planned to do and how much it would cost. An advance payment was requested. As the job developed, changes were made to the original contract and Tony was very specific in communicating the changes and the charges. He and Mark were very clean, polite, prompt, and quiet (as possible) during their six weeks at our house. The quality of their work was very precise in measuring, cutting, and applying the tile. They worked together very well keeping things moving along as best they could. There were unavoidable delays with other contractors coming and going (painters and plumbers). All in all we would definitely hire Volk Construction to work in our house again. The only downside was their high prices but since we live in a small town outside of Madison, maybe we're just not up to speed. The quality of their work was of the highest level. Now we have three beautiful bathrooms!
Description of Work: This job consisted of remodeling three bathrooms in our home. Volk Construction was originially hired to install ceramic tile floors and two new tub surrounds. As the demolition progressed, the job expanded to new plaster walls, paint, moving cabinets, plumbing, etc.
