Tru Cut Tree Care

They cut down a 25' tree/ground the stump. We paid for that. Said they could get me a new tree for a couple hundred dollars. Planted new tree/charged $750 - could have had Tree's-on-move do it for $399 w/2 yr warranty. Tru Cut was paid $750 - no receipt or warranty. Told if we had a problem, they know they planted it so they would come a fix problem/replace. We called Trees-on-the-move and they could have gotten the same tree/plant it/& get warranty for $399. Tru Cut said that they called Trees-on-the move and they were too expensive. $399 compared to $750 is too expensive? Tried to contact them but mail was returned and they won't answer phone calls. This year we have spent over $2000 with them (including the $750). Not listed with BBB. Sleezy company. The first two times they did trimming for us, they did a terrific job. That is why we rehired them to cut our tree and get us a replacement. Then they lied about price and no warranty or receipt! Tried to stop payment but they had already put it through the bank. I feel like we were taken advantage of with being seniors and living on a lake that we could afford this and then to find out we called the same Trees-on-the-move and found out what they charge when Tru Cut said they called them and they were too expensive. Something is not right here. I was told by the BBB (MN)that we should contact the attorney general of agriculture but contacted you to let you know that this company cannot be trusted, as your ads say. When I would look up Tru Cut, it bounced to Angie's list. They lost business in neighborhood because of what they did. Everyone says that we were taken, even our facilities person at work said it was too much. Just would like $250 back and a receipt and warranty. They know I am upset so they won't come back to my house to replace or repair. I am lost as to where to go. I am thinking of calling the TV stations that check these complaints out. Hope something can be done and maybe Angie's list will put a check next to their name and not give name out. When I was in the bank to cancel payment another person was there and said that he has friends in the business and are really upset with Tru Cut because they are undercutting them to get the business. They didn't do that with us. Thanks
