Description of Work: I had mice in my house. I have to admit the first technician was unsatisfactory. I showed the first guy an area I thought maybe they were living. He looked at it from afar and put a trap type thing outside that area. I still had issues. A different person came the second time. He was much more responsive. He checked the area I pointed out, confirmed there was a nest and how they were getting in, cleaned out the area, sealed it up and fixed how the trap was placed outside. He also checked around the house and followed up with me later. I haven't had a problem since. Although the first man was very nice, he did not seem to have as strong of knowledge base as the second technician. The second man restored my faith in Terminix, and I would just request not to have that first technician.

Description of Work: I had a problem with wasps that were trying to enter my home. I had tried every product I could find to take care of the problem myself but the wasps kept multiplying. One call to Terminex and they guaranteed that with one call they could eliminate the wasps and they did. They did a great job and I would definitely call them again.

Description of Work: I have mice in the basement and garage areas. When I originally contacted Terminix, they said they'd do a full assessment and block the entry holes. What they really do is just fill bait traps every month. They are, of course, willing to sell me additional services (e.g. replacing the insulation pushed out by the mice). Essentially, I'm just an annuity for them. That said, their price is about the same as everyone else (or I would have switched already). The smart thing to do would probably be to pay big bucks to get it fixed and be done with it... but that would involve ripping off the siding etc. If I were starting over, I'd go with someone else.

Description of Work: It's a big operation, focused on $$ rather than service. I liked my tech, but when he left the company in frustration, I switched to a local provider. The quarterly charge I was paying was OK, but when I needed some additional work re mice, the proposal was exorbitant. I got the problem solved by a local provider for about 10% of what I was quoted by Terminex. Since I had paid a year ahead, I was due a refund for one quarter. I called in and they said they would credit my credit card, but a month later it still hasn't happened. I called today and they said, "sorry, the person working on it misplaced the slip." They said they would see that it gets credited today.
