Ted's Painting

The provider showed up, removed wallpaper, and left. Nothing too big, but well done and reasonable for the cost. I still find some corners of wallpaper at the edges of some cabinets, but I figured that would be the case since I did not have the cabinets taken down first.

Ted's Painting is a family-based business that is strong on communication and customer service. Ted handles the painting with occasional help and Sue is in charge of scheduling and estimating. They were an absolute pleasure to work with. Ted is an experienced, knowledgeable and meticulous craftsman who did a superb job of breathing new life into our 50 year old house. He was punctual and hard working and put in 8 hour days to finish on schedule. We would not hesitate to hire Ted again and look forward to having him do some interior painting for us.

That turned out okay. I had more work than what the provider realized. He said he would be able to get the work done in the week, but he wasn’t able to compete it and I wished he would have told me that upfront. He was a nice guy and the quality of his painting was good. He was able to complete 3 rooms.

Ted's Painting was very easy to work with--from the initial contact all the way through to the finished project. He was very accessible before and during the work, and his price was very fair. He gave excellent advice about choosing the paint. He started exactly when he promised, and finished right on time. I was impressed with his level of professionalism, his wall repair was exceptional, and painting was precise. I really appreciated that despite my rather small project, I was treated as though I was having the whole house done. I will certainly call him first the next time I need a painting company.

Ted was very professional, did a thorough complete job as advertised, and cleaned up completely. The newly stained deck looks wonderful.

I first hired Ted's Painting to paint my master bedroom and basement rec room. Ted arrived on time, protected my flooring and furniture and painted 2 coats of paint in both rooms (I chose light colors to cover dark colors). I liked the results so much, I hired Ted's Painting immediately again to paint my kitchen, living room, hallway, laundry room and put a 3rd coat of paint in the basement. The prior owner had painted the living room 3 distinct colors, kitchen another, laundry another and the hallway another color. I wanted them all to be one color. Ted fit me in though his schedule is busy (I was the only one grateful for rain)! He just finished this second job and the results are great! Ted cleaned up after every work day, and the house looks absolutely great!

Our experience with Ted was nothing short of amazing! We were contacted within a couple of hours of purchasing the offer and Ted's wife was incredibly friendly and accomodating in getting everything setup. When Ted arrived to paint, he was incredibly friendly and professional. He was awesome with our two little bouts running around as well! I would wholeheartedly recommend Teds actual work as well. His finish was detailed and precise and had our doorframe looking amazing! An A+ review for sure!

They came out in May to give an estimate. About a week later, they e-mailed me and let me know about this deal, which was a bit of a savings from the original estimate. I thought this was really nice. In my dealing with them they have followed up promptly, and have been courteous.

bought this special because I had some painting that was high and I don't have the proper ladders etc. the work was done fairly well in the end. the scheduling was a little tough and not as much work was done as I hoped. I didn't make sure everything in the room was covered so there was a little paint splattered in areas that were not covered. was disappointed about that.

Very nice person. Just didn't get good coverage out of two coats of paint. The job (for the amount of wall space) took a long time and ultimately, I was disappointed to see some of the original paint show through. The color that was being covered was not that dark that two coats should not have easily covered it. I'm sorry, I do not like leaving feedback that is not real positive, but this is an honest review and I would not hire again.

It turned out very well. They came and give me an estimate that day, because they were going to be in the neighborhood. And he was able to start two weeks later. There were extra charges because they took one extra day, because I wanted the whole house done. He had to hire another person and then it took him a day. The $1999 was for one person for a week. So the $700 included extra hours. I thought he was very good, very attentive. I think you had to kind of check what he did, but if you saw something that maybe wasn't finished, he would go back and do it. But otherwise he was careful, did a very good cleanup. He did great finishing work, like all the caulking around all the framing.

Ted and Susan were very professional and friendly from the very first contact. Susan called us to schedule the appointment for estimate and when it didn't work out on their end, she called us to reschedule promptly. When they came for the estimate they were very warm and friendly. She committed a timeline for providing the estimate, and made sure to get it back by that time. We were very happy with our experience. We did not use their service this time but will surely be contacting them for any future needs.

Ted did a very nice job with our ceiling. Edging along the walls is crisp and clean, no ceiling paint on the walls and he draped off everything so there were no splatters on the cabinets or appliances. In and out in one day, 2 coats, clean and professional.

Ted is very professional, prompt, courteous, and one heck of a painter. Ted listened to everything we wanted, and we changed things on the fly, and was very willing to work with us. He did the work in a much shorter time than I would have thought, and is still willing to come back, to help with another project when we are ready. I highly recommend Ted's Painting.

It was exactly what we needed. We got a call right away, he stopped out to see our home and meet with us to determine what could be done. He offered some helpful suggestions about plaster repair needed on one of the walls and said he could do that as part of the painting project. We scheduled a few days out. He came, did all the work and we were very satisfied. Highly recommend.

Very easy to schedule appointment following purchase of Angie's List deal - I was contacted very promptly. Ted was also accommodating to make a change to the original appointment date when my schedule shifted. Ted arrived on time and completed all work requested within allotted time. We are very happy with the completed work.

Ted arrived as scheduled to remove wallpaper from our family room. He cleaned the walls so they can be painted.

They did a fine job. They're on time and they service was as promised. I would definitely hire them again.

They didn't think they could come out as soon as they did at first but called me and were able to come out earlier than expected. They did a great job. If I had more painting to do I would definitely use them again in the future.

Ted came when promised, and did a very good job. He applied two coats of paint to the bathroom ceiling and walls, all in one day, and cleaned up after himself very well. I am something of a perfectionist, and there are places where the line between walls and ceiling is not perfect, and one very small spot he missed I will need to touch up. Overall, it was a positive experience, and I'm happy with the end result.

Engaged Ted Painting last December through Angies "Big Deal" of "7 hours of wallpaper removal and preparation,". It took multiple communications through Ted's wife Sue to schedule the Feb. appointment including several to set up a time for his pre-work assessment of the dining room project. Frustrated, I rejected his offer, rented a steamer from the local hardware store and completed the project myself in approximately 6 hours. The quality of the work in disturbingly small portion of the project he completed in seven hours of labor was acceptable. However, from my perspective it would have been prohibitively costly to engage him to finish the job.

Ted's Painting was persistent in contacting us to schedule our wallpaper removal after we purchased the coupon online (which was a good thing - we wanted the coupon but weren't quite prepared for the service when we bought it). We asked Ted to spend 7 hours allotted by the coupon to remove wallpaper from our kitchen and begin wall prep (we were planning on finishing the job ourselves). He removed all the paper, washed down the walls, and spackled the areas that were dry enough. He then advised me on the next steps that were needed and good places to buy paint. I was satisfied with the level of cleanliness (just a little wiping and sweeping on my part after he left) and felt that he had spent his 7 hours well.
