Description of Work: Ted painted my daughter's bedroom walls and ceiling. The room looks beautiful and there are no drips, smears, etc. like there would be if I had tried to tackle the job myself. Well worth the price.

Description of Work: We purchased the Angie's List deal for "Painter for a Day"- Ted did an amazing job both touching up our edges (where we had tried to do 2 accent walls that cornered with a white wall), and painting the ceiling in our main level. Will definitely keep him in mind for any future work!

Description of Work: Ted was fantastic! I had an internal painting project that included an entryway, 2 standard staircases including ceilings, a dining room, living room, hallway, and third staircase to a lofted floor which had very high walls. When I first contacted him via email, I received a prompt response and was able to schedule a visit for an estimate quickly. He even came on the weekend. After his initial visit, I received an email estimate very quickly. The estimate was completely reasonable and I was thrilled with the total cost for the work. Once we agreed on moving forward and a date to begin the work, I actually was not very quick in signing and returning the contract. They were proactive in following up with me to remind me, which I absolutely appreciate. When the project start date got closer, I reached out to ask if he could come back by to verify the amount of paint needed, since I was purchasing that myself. And he graciously came back a second time, on the Labor Day holiday weekend, to help me out. Then the work started. He had estimated the project to take 3 days and he actually completed it in 2.5. He was prompt everyday in his arrival, working from about 8am to 4:30 or 5pm the first two days and noon the third. He worked quickly, efficiently, cleanly, and did a wonderful job. I am completely satisfied with his work and have actually requested additional estimates for more interior painting. Couldn't be happier and have received several compliments on the quality of the job he did. Thanks Ted!

Description of Work: He did an exceptional job removing wall paper in a bathroom. He filled holes with caulking then prepared the walls for painting..... very professional.Ted then applied two coats of paint. The bathroom looks terrific!

Description of Work: The walls into the basement had 2 coats of paint and the kitchen. He also fixed a painting error done at an earlier time by me.Friendly and prompt.

Description of Work: Painted the exterior of our home including the window trim and shutters. Did a great job and helped to pick out the main color - steering me away from a too dark color to a more moderate gray. We had a lot of rain during the scheduled time and Mrs. Ted kept us informed of the changing schedule very promptly.The price was very reasonable and when it finally dried out he was really quick.

Description of Work: i have a Angies list coupon for Ted's Painting that I bought some time ago. Due to trouble getting them to set a timely date for the work I am now in a new residence and won't need their services.

Description of Work: We requested a proposal to paint the exterior of our home. Ted came out when scheduled, right on time, and gave us a very prompt and complete written estimate. Although we ultimately decided to use another painting contractor, we had no problems with Ted and would consider him again for a future painting job.

Description of Work: No service was performed. I called to request an estimate for an exterior paint job and was able to speak to Ted directly. He said he was booked up for 2008 and therefore any estimates would be for the Spring 2009 time frame. I said that would be fine but that I would like to get an estimate this year to decide whether I could wait until next year and have Ted's Painting complete the job. He said that he could provide an estimate and asked that I call his telephone number back and leave a voicemail message with my contact information including my home address. Two weeks following our conversation, I received a call from his office calling to set-up an appointment time for meeting to make an estimate. She suggested a weekend that I wasn't able to make and so I suggested a weekday. She said she would have to talk to Ted and get back to me. It's been 2 months since that time and I never heard back from them.
