+ 8 moreThe work went very well. Fritz was prompt and good about working with me on the schedule and letting me know when things were getting done. Part of the job was ordering a new door for the basement so there was some lag time, but Fritz was good at coordinating when the work would be done along with the arrival of the door. He also arranged for me to pay for the door directly which was easier and more straight-forward than reimbursement and he got the painted door for a good price. Fritz and Phillip cleaned up any messes created and were a pleasure to have around. I was happy to find Fritz and Phillip because the jobs I had were kind of unusual and varied so I didn't know if anyone would be able to do them all, but they did with no problems. I will definitely call Handy Man Solutions again in the future.
Description of Work: Fritz and Phillip did several jobs around the house to prepare it to be put on the market. They replaced and painted rotted spindles and corners on the deck and front porch, and some rotted areas on my cedar siding; replaced a damaged door in the basement, including matching the paint color; repaired damaged wood on a window; painted an inside door and repaired the knob, which had never worked properly; repaired a leak in the basement outside door; fixed the storm door that wasn't closing properly; reattached a downspout under the deck; replaced light switches; capped off an outdoor electrical wire; fixed a flower bed log that wasn't lined up; and secured a supporting post under the deck.
