We hired Brent and his team to frame-out our basement for us to finish at a later date. It wasn't an enormous project, as basement finish project goes, and they were able to wrap everything up in short order. Brent and his team were punctual, courteous, did a wonderful job cleaning up when everything was done and, most importantly, did a great job. I am very glad we went with SCS, and would highly recommend them.

Brent and his crew did a wonderful job, very detail oriented, responsive and on schedule. Had them install new window in my daughter bedroom as well, went as smooth as it should, will definitely use them for other jobs around the house in the future. Brent, the owner, is very personable, skilled and with high attention to detail (big for me). The only shortcoming I can find is that due to his high demand a wait time is sometime unavoidable, I can partake with that if a good job follows.

He was hired to do complete removal of kitchen countertops and sink, along with the plumbing necessary. Same for 2 baths. He took them off and gently placed back on. It was to measure for granite countertops, then wait for them to be installed. Then, in the quote, I was told that it would cover them being removed again and the plumbing all hooked back up again. I did almost all of the countertop removal the scond time and he needed to come and reinstall the plumbing, which was also in the quote. It took about a week to get things hooked back up again. I was charged more than the original quote yet I did all of the removal the second time because he could not get back out here in time. When I received the quote, he said that was the MOST he would charge but he would modify that to correspond to actual hours, which were significantly less than projected. As it turns out, without me realizing it, the kitchen sink was not properly reinstalled, nor was the garbage disposal and the cabinet was FLOODED and had been for a while. When I turned on the garbage disposal, water was leaking all over. I called him to see about getting it fixed and he said he would come out the next week. He never got back to me and didn't come out. I contacted him again with no response. He said..."Call a plumber." I said it was his job to see if it could be fixed..no reply. Update...I called a plumber and got it fixed. $250.00. I let him know this is what happened and he let me know right away that he would not reimburse me. Funny thing is that I didn't ask for any reimbursement. He said that he has done 50 or so jobs like mine over the years and they have never leaked, to which I said "this one did." 3 things had to be fixed: 1. Wrong joint was used to take water from the garbage disposal. A straight joint was used when it should have have been flared. 2. A gasket should have been used to seal the drain on the sink without the disposal. All he had to do was run hot water in that sink and the putty warmed up enough that the entire drain jiggled and water leaked out...right from the basin. 3. The garbage disposal was not properly locked when reinstalled. All 3 things were considered entry level knowledge according to to the plumber. My cost to clean up after I had already paid handsomely to have this work done earlier? Way too much. Shoulda, coulda, woulda.... He won't stand behind this teeny little project? Buyer beware...

One window was a permanent installation, which required complete removal of the defective window and its adjacent woodwork. The second window was a crank out window requiring the installation of the appropriate mechanism and adjustment to assure fit and function. Both were accomplished in an effcient and professional manner with appropriate cleanup. I would highly recommend this company for any remodeling project.
