RJR Improvements

I called him in April because he came recommended to install a new shower. He would show up on time, but many days would have excuses that he needed to leave early, or some days wouldn't show. Installing this shower took 5 months. On September 27, I gave him a $125 check for him to come back and install a shower grab bar. Soon after that, the check was cashed, and no grab bar was installed. On October 7 he wanted to put a firewall in the garage, so I gave him check for $900 and told me he would be back on October 10 to install it and add my grab bar to the shower. He called me on the 10th and told me he was double booked and he would start my project on the 13th. During this time, he signed the $900 check over to his girlfriend. I called to find out what was taking so long, and he told me he had gone to Chicago for a football game and told me he would be here later. I tried to call him a few days later, but his voice mail box was full and I could not leave a message. He finally got back with me and told me he would call again on October 18 to set up an appointment time. He called me later and told me that he had fallen and hurt his had and would come do the work on October 30. He did not show. Called him on the 31st and he then told me he would be here on the 4th of November. He once again did not show. He called me on the 11th saying he still had stitches and could not do the work, and would just mail back my checks that I had sent him. As of the November 17th he has still not sent my money back. I still have no shower grab bar or firewall in my garage.

Rob came promptly to give me an estimate. He started right away. He called each work day to tell me what he was planning to get done for the day. He called at night to say what had gotten done and what came next. He met me at Home Depot to help pick out tile and other things. He got the work done in a prompt fashion and was very neat. It was a pleasure working with him.
