It went well. Service was prompt, installation was well done, final result looks very good (see photos). Installers were personable, followed up where we had questions or concerns. Original contract had called for removal and replacement of gutters at $500 additional cost, but the gutters couldn't be taken down without damage and the installers were able to insert the fascia behind them.

Not too well but in the end, many months later, it was finally done correctly. Roofers arrived and off and on for weeks tore off the three layers and roofed the house. This was done in a sloppy way, however, with roofers not showing up on time or not showing up at all on a given day. When 'done' part of the roof was bulging and the gutters were full of roof debris. Roofing nails were found on the ground and actually nailed into a fence. When called to fix the roof, it took several weeks to get attention. Finally, when fixed, the roofers did a fine job (a whole new set of people) and seemed to know what they were doing as well.

Everything went very well. They did some minor patch-up work on the roof vent right away, promising to come back later and finish the job (along with doing the flashing). It was a little difficult in that we didn't hear back for awhile, but correctly assumed it was because they were so busy with other jobs. Otherwise, not much to say, I didn't have to be home when they were there, but I showed up anyway and they were doing a great job. The proof occurred last night, our first big rainstorm since the work was done, and no leaks at all in the attic! So we're very happy with everything that took place in this job and would easily consider calling them back when a major roof repair is needed.

Very professional. Did what they said they would. Followed up from time of quote to completion of job. Brent did a great job.

Twelve guys showed up at 5 a.m and worked consistently all morning long until the job was completed. I thought that was just above and beyond for any company to do. It even started to rain and got pretty nasty out but they just worked diligently through until they were done.

The salesman said that the roof would be done before the gutters (to prevent gutter damage), that tarps would be put down in case of rain, and no work would be done while we were out of town. None of these happened. The job started 2 days after he said it would and took 3 full days rather than 1. The workers damaged a number of things around the house, left the yard a mess (food wrappers, cans, garbage), and did shoddy work. An inspection afterwards showed that there were problems with the shingle installation. A downspout fell off a month afterwards. Large gaps were left exposing insulation between the shingles and siding. The gutter guards they recommended are flat rather than angled, so lots of junk collects on top of them. I would have done better with the guards at home improvement store.

We called Ridgetop as soon as we noticed falling siding, and they came within an hour or so. They tacked up the remaining loose pieces and left. After talking to our insurance company, we called Ridgetop again to replace the missing siding. They gave us an estimate of over $3,000 at first. The insurance company refused to pay that and agreed to negotiate directly with Ridgetop. As a result, I don't know what the final price was; we only paid our $1,000 deductible. The negotiation with the insurance company delayed the project by a day or two. Larry was easy to work with over the phone, but the crew didn't communicate well. I didn't even know they were here (it's a commercial building) until a co-worker mentioned that the siding was fixed.

Overall it went well. Roofing itself was fine; communication between workers and homeowners was not fine. Homeowners never knew when roofers would be working; all roofers spoke another language and there was not a spokesperson to talk to homeowners. Roof looked fine in the end but it took weeks for roofers to complete small odds and ends and fine tune the roofing job.

I have referred them to many neighbors and the work was completed very quickly. The cleanup was remarkable!
