We were told our message would be given to a project manager and we would receive a phone call back once they had a chance to look at it, but we never received any call back or further contact from the company.

Outstanding Job! Exactly as represented from start to finish, communication was excellent. Final outcome 10 of 10! A real pleasure to finally deal with those that do exactly as they say. My wife and I look forward to enjoying this new asset for many years.

It went very well. Initially we worked with them directly, then through our general contractor. They seemed very professional and punctual. No complaints.

I had another company come out multiple times and try multiple different "fixes", none of which worked. Ridgetop came out - got on the roof and looked. Told me exactly where he thought the leak was coming from. They replaced an old roof vent and re-did the shingles around it. We've now had several hard rains/thunderstorms since then - NO leak!!! Did a great job, explained everything thoroughly; very timely.

We bought the Big Deal roof maintenance package, and right away got an email from Ridgetop, thanking us and asking for our phone number. I sent it, and they responded again right away, letting us know that a project manager would soon contact us to schedule an appointment. I thought things were off to a very good start. Jason called that afternoon. He suggested coming the next day, last Wednesday, "at 1:00 or 1:30," if someone would be at home, and I said I'd be there to meet him. He was very courteous, and I appreciated that he told me he'd call about a half hour ahead to let me know he was on his way. I was very pleased he was going to come so quickly, because our roof has been concerning us for some time. We considered the Big Deal a great opportunity. I made special arrangements to be at home the next afternoon, and rearranged plans for painting work being done on the house. No call, no show. They don't seem to realize that you can't really do anything else while you are waiting for a phone call and a visit--you have to watch for them, listen for them, be ready to meet them and talk with them about your roof issues. I finally left at a quarter to six (yeah, I waited too long). No one ever called. I've asked for my money back from Angie's List. I really felt robbed of my time and my plans.

Crew arrived as promised and did a very good job. No problems.

Matt Winterberg responded swiftly to my call and we set up a time for him to come out and look at the problem. He diagnosed it within 10 minutes and got back to me with multiple estimates. One for a localized repair that could not be fully warranteed, and one for completely redoing half of the roof that would carry a full warranty. Since doing half the roof seemed kind of silly I asked if they would honor an estimate for the whole roof that they had given me two years before when they had done the other repair to the rubber roof. Keep in mind that estimate said right on it that it would expire (I think within 30 days of writing) so they in NO WAY were obligated to honor it. But Matt got back to quickly with a response that they would indeed honor the expired estimate. I immediately accepted the bid and made it clear that I needed the work done ASAP to minimize any damage. The water was literally dripping into my upstairs bedroom when it rained. Also keep in mind that this is March and there is still snow on the ground. Yeah it was a weird spring where we got early rain and then it got cold again. Matt had a crew there by mid March and did an awesome job. They were careful not to damage the rubber flat roof and did a great job cleaning up afterwards, even coming back 2 weeks later when the snow had melted off the rubber roof to pick up anything that had gotten lost in the snow that was still 5 inches deep on the flat roof when they did the job! In closing, the roof looks great and it doesn't leak anymore. I am completely satisfied.

Ridge Top did a great job for us. Completed re-shingling of entire large roof in just one day! Installed upgrade roof ridge vent at no additional charge. They made sure there were no nails or other materials left on lawn or in shrubs. As the homeowner I found dealing with Ridge Top was a pleasure.

We experienced a couple of leaks in the kitchen of our recently-purchased home. We had Ridge Top look at it to see what could be done. Kevin determined that the kitchen vent had been installed improperly and he reinstalled it and made certain that it was completely sealed. We are very pleased with the work and would highly recommend them.

I thought they were professional but the only problem was the high cost.

The subcontractors that they had hired to come out were very nasty. The supervisor that came out was very nice, but he ended up having to clean up their mess.

My experience with RidgeTop Roofs & Exteriors was good. The problem with this project was dealing with the insurance which they stayed on top of. I had to give them a lot of credit for being on top of the insurance company. The workers did leave nails in the driveway which I was a little upset about. They covered up my air conditioning outside while it was running which was not good for the unit because it will make it overheat instead of telling me that they covered it up and I should turn it off.

I thought that they were very professional. They were one that we felt confident enough in in asking them to bid. He addressed very well any questions or concerns I had. When it came right down to it, the factor that helped me decide was price more than anything but I was very pleased with their response. They very responsive and timely.

We had a number of bids and their price was the most reasonable of all. When they came out the workmen were good. We were happy with the product and installation.

We made arrangements in February and Ridgetop called to schedule the service as soon as the snow was gone. They arrived on time, worked quickly and took care of another roof issue that we had not been aware of prior to their visit. They left the worksite clean and neat. The work looks nice and while we won't know the effects until next winter, I was happy with their work.

Since the previous roofer wasn't interested in repairing their own work, we looked up roofers on Angie's List. Along with some of our neighbor's recommendations, we decided to call Ridge Top. Ron from Ridge Top came out on one day, and was able to fit our repairs in that week. The consultation was very educational, and the work was done promptly and professionally, with care being taken to not damage plantings, etc. Kudos to the roofer that came out in +90F heat to work on our roof! We've had no more leaking, and the repairs appear to be in good order.

Our experience with Ridgetop Roofing was a good one. Due to hail damage in the area, we had our entire roof redone with asphalt shingles. Ridgetop was in the middle of the pack in terms of their proposal price, but since our insurance company was covering most of it, we weren't that concerned about price. The rep we worked with was very professional, considerate, and helpful in terms of explaining and managing the process. He explained our roof would be a one-day project, given they use a large crew to "get in and get out" as quickly as possible. He was true to his word, the crew did get the old shingles torn off and the new roof on in the same day, and so far so good in terms of quality of work. No leaks, no problems, and neighbors have commented on how nice the roof looks. Cleaned up very nicely, did not find many nails or anything laying around the house (had heard from others this could be a problem). Rep did inspect the following day, and extra materials were also picked up and hauled away the following day. The only issue (and it was probably not so major) is that the crew was very "loud" when working on the roof, not in terms of airguns and pounding, but in terms of yelling, laughing, even some swearing. But I'm sure that's not a big deal to many, it was just that I was working at home that day and heard everything. Overall, very happy with the company and job, and would recommend them to others looking for roofing work done on their home.

We purchased Angie's Big Deal of $400 worth of Roof Maintenance and Gutter Cleaning for $200. We lost some shingles in a winter storm and needed them replaced and we purchased this deal for that specific purpose having called the office before purchasing to confirm this deal could be used for that. We scheduled the work to be done in April, but when the worker arrived (late), he looked at our roof and said it was too steep and he didn't have the proper safety equipment to do the job, so we had to reschedule for a week later. He came back the next time and he proceeded to do the work, having the shingles provided by us that we had left over from an addition that was done a few years ago. He had looked at them when he was out the previous week and said they looked like they would be fine. He finished in less than two hours and he left. In the days that followed, we could see that he had pulled up old shingles to place the new ones under them, but he had done nothing to stick them back down, no nails or tar, and we could see them flapping in the wind. Within three weeks of the work, we had high winds and the shingles started ripping off our house in sheets. We called the company and after an afternoon of going back and forth, they agreed to have the same worker come out and fix the problem. We would have preferred someone else because when we spoke directly to him about the issue, he told us that our roof was in such terrible shape we should not have had any expectation of any guarantee. He had not mentioned anything about the sorry state of our roof the day he was out working on it (we bought the house only 18 months earlier and the inspector told us the roof had probably 5-7 years left). Unfortunately, we were informed by the owner of the company that the only person who was able to come do the work was the same person who was out before, so we had to accept that. He came out and he replaced the shingles we lost, once again using the shingles we provided. This time he took great care to tack the shingles he had to pull up back down. It has been over 6 months and we have had no issues with the work or with our roof at all, in fact. We expect it probably has at least another five years of life left in it. We are happy with what we now have and we appreciated the owner stepping in and making it right, but we would have been much happier if we had received better customer service initially instead of an argument.

My husband and I had known for quite a while that we were going to have to replace our roof. Last year we discovered leaks around the chimney and worse, water seeping into the roof over our porch which had caused serious damage inside the attic. We contacted three contractors in the area so we could get advice and then compare the bids before making a decision. One never called us back, another never even got on the roof, and the third told us that we needed over $3,000.00 in chimney repairs in addition to the roof itself. On the advice of a co-worker we called Ridge Top Roofing, reluctantly, as our expectations by this point hand dwindled down to nothing. Were we ever surprised! Larry came out and not only was he on time; he surveyed the entire exterior of the house, even going so far as to get inside the attic. He explained that the chimney leak was due to a failed flashing and even though the portion over-the porch would need some structural repairs, that it wasn't serious and could be fixed at the same time as everything else. He presented us with a quote that was about $1,500.00 higher than the guy who didn't get on the roof and over $4,000.00 less than the guy who said we needed to do all the work on the chimney. We felt that he was being fair, and most importantly, honest with us. He even provided us with the newer style architectural shingle, the other two bids were for the ugly old three tabs. So, we signed the contract right then and there. The work was scheduled for the following week. The crew arrived on time and went straight to work. When we came home that night, the work was completed, (including the chimney and structural things) which we couldn't believe, especially since it is a two story house and pretty good sized as well. In addition, the yard was spotless, and our neighbors even said it looked like a brand new house. All that in just one day. We have nothing short of praise for the work Ridge Top did for us and especially the professional, respectful manner in which all of them conducted themselves, including the crew. To top it off, they even sent us a tin of cookies with a thank-you card! There is no doubt that we have spread the word when ever we have the chance, they deserve it, especially when compared to the experiences we received with the other so called contractors. Left initial message. Got callback, and bounced around from rep to rep -- they have a special category / handler for Angies list orders. Took a week+ to get someone onsite to actually fix the roof -- which was ok, as this was just maintenance. Would have liked a better 'integration' with the vendor and angies list

All the work went very well. They were prompt and efficient. They came on the days they said they would, and finished when they said they would. I have no complaints about their work ethic.

The crew that came out was very hard working. It was good quality product and by far the best price.

I got a quote from Ridgetop in the Fall of 2010 when I was buying the property. In the Spring, they contacted me to set up a time to actually do the work. They had told me how much it would cost would vary based on the condition of the wood under the shingles. I was nervous about that, so they sent over someone who went up on the roof and do the exploratory work to check. After that, they were able to give me a precise quote. I was a little confused when we worked on scheduling when they would start the work. The agent I worked with talked about scheduling the "completion" date. I assumed that was a roofing industry term. I turned out, no, he meant they they intended to do the entire job in one day. I'd heard of roofing jobs taking weeks, so I hadn't even know it was possible to do it so quickly. The job turned out to be a little more complicated, so they had to come back for two more hours the following day. The work itself was great. No more water makes it into the second floor, and a year and a half later (including a winter with a lot of freezes and thaws) the roof still looks new. Ridgetop wasn't the lowest quote I got for this job, but I wasn't interested in getting the cheapest roof I could. I wanted a good one that would last a long time, and I wanted a company that would be easy to work with.

job was done well they forgot the materials for the ridge vent, even though it was specified in contract and on the list for the man who had the checklist job was not supervised, and no one told us they were going to be back the next day to finish materials were left at job site and we had to call them to come pick up several nails left that weren't picked up, even on driveway where obvious they subcontracted, and if we would have known that we could have had that roofer come directly, so were disappointed in that
